Killpack Trucking Company

Killpack Trucking is a long‑established, family‑style carrier running freight all over the U.S., with a heavy focus on potato and ag loads out of Idaho. For drivers looking into killpack trucking jobs, the company is best suited for experienced OTR drivers who value home time, a family‑friendly culture, and reliable equipment—and who don’t mind running hard when the freight calls for it. If you want a small, respectful, stable carrier with weekly home time, Killpack is likely a strong option.

Killpack Trucking

Drivers consistently highlight very strong home time (home weekly), well‑maintained and often newer equipment, and a close‑knit “brothers and sisters” culture with good communication and support in emergencies. When drivers talk about killpack trucking pay, they usually describe it as mid‑range—around $76k per year at about $0.53 per mile for OTR solo. Safety numbers are excellent, but there is at least one serious complaint about deposits, miles not paid as promised, and money taken from checks. Overall, Killpack comes across as a solid, safety‑minded, home‑weekly outfit where most drivers are happy, with a few red flags on pay transparency that you should clarify before joining.

Trick 2370 about took us out on 1 74 near Morton because of slower drivers. We were already beside him and he kept coming over. So of course we hit the brakes hard, flipped him off, then he proceeded to speed up next to us blaring his horn. Some truck driver suck

The driver kept us from going around him for several miles, so another semi could get over in front of him to go around another slow vehicle. He could have gotten back into the right lane and let several cars go around him. Some drivers suck, including cars.

A semi-truck driver almost hit my family not wanting to miss Idaho Fall's last exit. We slammed on our breaks so the truck wouldn't hit us.
