I was contacted to do an interview but never received a call when it was scheduled. This situation doesn't create a positive candidate experience and also reflects poorly on the customer service aspect of HR. Hopefully, in the future, there can be more diligence in ensuring that candidates who are scheduled for interviews are notified if an interview will be missed or needs to be rescheduled, rather than not receiving any communication at all.

Bad at communication, Don't Trust Them, They had my tax info for six months and then returned my taxes unfinished a week before they were due to the IRS with out a call to me. Very unprofessional, I had a very difficult time getting them done without a IRS penalty. They are from the big city boys and don't understand small town values . There are much better CPA and accountants out there.

Hungerford Nichols acquired Conn, Geneva, Robinson. Prior to this, we had been with Conn, Geneva for over 15 years without issue and a seamless experience. Our longtime accountant left in the fall and Hungerford Nichols did not notify us. Once we became aware, it took many phone calls to determine our new accountant assignment. Because we had no introduction, we wanted to touch base with our new accountant which was another hurdle. After expending much time and effort I was able to have a short conversation with our new accountant, Melissa. We had several outstanding items to address and she was to follow-up with us and our attorney. After several emails and phone messages, with no response over the course of 3 weeks, I requested a new accountant. The managing partners, Rick and Tom, have refused my request. Rick stated that the accountant was very busy and every accountant would be busy from now until the filing deadline May 17, 2021 implying no one had time for a short follow-up phone conversation. I would not recommend this firm to anyone regardless of the complexity of your tax matters. Hungerford Nichols has lack of follow through, lack of communication, rude and unhelpful staff, and unprofessional managing partners.

Hungerford Nichols took on a last minute project and exceeded my expectations with a quick turnaround and a very professional approach. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality end product.

They are very rude. They won’t even take the time to listen to what you have to say. Told them I need to make an appointment for taxes . Was very rude and said I had to see if they had opening. As if I new what I was doing.

I used this firm for years until my representative retired. Then I tried someone else, and that was a major mistake. It’s back to Hungerford next year.
