I have been a customer for years here to get my taxes done. In the past 2 years the cost has gone up over 50 %. I will not be coming back . I have been waiting over 3 weeks for simple taxes to be completed and still do not have them. They are rude when you call to see if they are done. Response is always they are waiting to be reviewed. Can not confirm when they will be done. Much of the same last year also. Gave them another chance this year shame on me. I would not recommend them to anyone.

NEVER EVER USE THIS SERVICE. The owner will leave passive aggressive updates on your review a year later trying to rewrite history. Even after you've proven him wrong and had a huge refund come back that year because his firm did in fact file your taxes wrong and he made you over pay.. I'm still dealing with his messes... "The owner" will say anything to get you to pay the bill and then his assistants will email you a tax voucher and invoice from then for far more than he ever represented and claim that they didn't have the right information. BEWARE unless you like your finances handled by an automated email. Go elsewhere.

Sorge bought out our accountant in Stoughton Wisconsin I am a veteran volunteering at the VFW. We are nonprofit as soon as Sorge took over all they did was give us a hard time and then dropped us with excuses and unprofessionalism. They did the same to the American Legion and disrespected the Finance officer there. This came from the owner/ CEO of this company. What a disgrace of a business

I have used Sorge for years and always had a good experience until this year. I have really simple taxes and usually had them completed in 3 weeks. This year was horrible. I kept calling and got excuse after excuse. I left the preparer, Eileen, a msg asking for a response and did not ever hear from her. While I have had good luck in the past seems like the little guy isn't important!!! May have to look elsewhere.

I've done my taxes with Sorge for the last 4 or so years now. I am always pleased with my return and the timeliness of when I submit my paperwork and when the money gets deposited in my bank account. It always seems like I get a lot more money than I did when doing my own taxes. They also noticed I did not claim something I could have on a previous years return and amended it for me and got me some extra money back.

This will be my third year using Sorge CPA for my personal and small business tax filling. I've been really happy with my past year fillings, they have gotten me a great return every year and they are very knowledgeable and respond quickly to any questions I have. They also seem very willing to educate their clients and set up meetings through the year and prior to end of the year filling. I would recommend Sorge for personal or business tax and accounting services.

I've been working with Sorge CPA for quite a few years now. I've always been very pleased with their professionalism & knowledge. I feel like they always have my best interest at heart and are always available to answer any questions I have. I refer all my personal and business relationships to Sorge because I know they'll be happy I did.

Accountant never got back to me; both she and partner made me feel insignificant and like I was inconveniencing them. Responses were terse, used jargon and were incomplete. There was zero proactive communication. They charged me for changing my address, which was the last straw. They shouldn't take on small business accounts, in my opinion. I terminated them IN THE MIDDLE of tax season. And for what it's worth, there was zero relationship- building with this firm. I was never asked to meet (presumably would've been charged). The response I received from my request to terminate services was, "We agree with this." Cold. Just like *all* other communications with them... so weird. No thanks!! ?

We had them determine our personal taxes for one year. That seemed to work okay. They helped us save some money. But, then we asked them to look at an amended return for the prior year, and we had trouble even getting a response from them. We ended up pulling our information back and moving forward with a different firm. In an era where customer service differentiates service professionals, I left the experience resoundingly disappointed.

They did good enough to ruin a small business, in fact it's what they didn't do that hurt us. They made so many mistakes the IRS garnished $5,000 out of our business account to cover taxes that we didn't actually owe. It took us 14 months to recover everything they garnished and it hurt our business to the point we couldn't pay for our overhead. Terrible experience, please avoid.

Absolutely do not use Sorge! Nothing was explained and we were passed around to several different people in the one year we were with them. We tried to have conversations about our business and we were ignored. We paid several hundred a month and were nothing but a number to them after several meeting Amy, still couldn't even say my name correctly. If I could I would give a 0.

This year, like the last three, we have been so happy with how are taxes have been done. As we are out of state during the tax season, we have been so happy with how we can get 'r (taxes) done while on the road or in California. Thank you Nicole and Liz for all you do for us , , , and have us pay in what only we need to.

We're first time clients this year with a rather complex tax year including: time in two states, earned income, starting retirement with pension lump sums and annuities. Sorge CPA completed everything accurately and with an understandable summary. Trust is foundation of everything; I trust Sorge CPA with my finances.

I called a month ago asking if someone else could assist with my needs at they were not being met by my current provider any longer. Whom I had for many years but over time things just took longer and longer. When I started getting letters from state talking about seizing my account and etc threats they use I figured time to change. I politely called and mentioned my issues didn't raise my voice or say anything inappropriate. With that I receive a voicemail from whom I believe was the owner as his last name is used in name of business. He goes on and says name of lady that has been "doing" my taxes which IVE NEVER MET THIS PERSON BUT THEIR DOING MY TAXES then why am I meeting, discussing, emailing with another person??? From their he says their is a past bill due and that they will be terminating my services. WOW first I have no issue paying any bill. I always told lady I met with to send bill and I can't help that it never gets sent. A MONTH LATER STILL NO BILL. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE even when I attempted to be very courteous to YOUR COMPANY after Fing MY TAXES UP
