This was a great experience! Dave was my instructor and helped me gain the confidence and knowledge I needed to fulfill my goal of getting my CDL A. You were driving on the first day and learning hands on. While practicing on the course, Nick and Daveon also were great instructors to help make sure you leaned the proper techniques. WMCDL blew my expectations out of the water in every way possible. The owner, Mike, along with all the trainers and office staff were phenomenal from start to finish. Felicia in the office answered all of my questions and gave me a great idea on what to expect as well as getting me lined up to start as soon as I was ready. I trained predominantly with Scott, who has an incredible knack for reading people and determining where they need help, as well as when they need a little conversation to get themselves out of overthinking and stressing themselves out. He also has some fantastic analogies. I also worked with Davion a lot on the range; he's such a fun guy to learn with and really dials you in. Driving with Nick was always a blast too, he put a lot of effort into helping me figure out exactly what I want to do with my career and the steps I can take to get to where I want to be. Last but not least, I worked with Joe out on the range and that man is on top of everything. Even the trainers I didn't work with were always incredibly nice and supportive. All in all it's a little bittersweet having completed the course and passed my exam; I'll miss the time I spent there having a great time learning how to drive trucks, but I know they prepared me well and I'll always be welcome to stop by or give them a call. I couldn't recommend WMCDL enough, 5 stars isn't enough for the amount of effort and support they offer. You will not be dissappointed.

West Michigan CDL came highly recommended to me. It exceeded every expectation I had! It was well organized and efficiently managed. Everything was clean the warehouses, the trucks, and even the restrooms!!! The instructors were all personable and so helpful! It was a great experience!!!

I had a great experience. I never thought at my age I would lose my job 2 months short of 25 years, but I did and I'm glad this was what I chose for a career change. Every instructor did a little bit to help me get the right training to succeed. I thank them all, and all the staff and the company owner was great also.

I went to west Michigan cdl to obtain my class B license and it was a great experience! My instructor was Pam and she was very knowledgeable as well as very hands on in all aspects of my training. All of the staff were also very helpful from the start of the process until the end. The facility itself is very organized and well kept and the trucks you drive are very nice and clean inside and out I would definitely recommend west Michigan cdl to anyone who wants to get their cdl license

When I decided to get in to truck driving I googled best CDL school in Michigan and best truck driving school in Michigan. This school lives up to its rating. You will be taught the right way, you’ll have instructors that guide you thru what to do. The owner will be there helping you out. If you’re struggling they will go above and beyond to make sure your skills are good. They talk you thru everything. Your hands will be on the wheel for hours and hours and hours everyday. You will learn everything from scratch. My classmates came from all walks of life. There were MULTIPLE Grandmas, youngsters, business owners, accountants, people who’ve never had a job, and me, a silly dork. Every race, religion and nationality was there. WE ALL FIT IN. We helped each other, side by side all day with our instructors. No matter who you are, or your experience level, if you WANT to get your CDL than you will here, all you need is the desire. This school will take care of you. Give them a call and talk to Felicia, she will talk you thru the whole process in getting enrolled. (It’s easy) You will have to go to the Secretary of State and pass a couple tests (just find practice tests online to make it even easier, I used CDL prep). The Secretary of State will give you your CDL Learners Permit. It’s EASY AND THIS SCHOOL WILL HOLD YOUR HAND AND WALK YOU THRU IT. YOU. WILL. LOVE. THIS. SCHOOL. -Dusty from class 7/17/23

An amazing school from top to bottom inside out. The owner Mike is really involved in his own business which I loved. He’s there to ensure his business will not fail which means you won’t fail. The instructors are very helpful, knowledgeable and most of all patient. Office staff is also amazing and understanding. Well organized place clean building and trucks. Also the time there is also organized everything is scheduled to ensure you get every thing you need to pass. Can’t believe how much in the range and road training I was able to do! I couldn’t have picked a better school.

WMCDL is an awesome place to learn the basics of commercial vehicles handling. The staff and trainers are kind and helpful and as long as you are willing to learn they will help you to obtain your CDL. I attended West Michigan CDL recently and it was an amazing experience. I had never stepped foot in a semi and barely had any experience with a manual transmission. Nick & Austin helped out tremendously and pushed me to my extent and it all payed off on my test, they were phenomenal instructors and kept it light & fun during the frustrating times when learning something new. I met amazing people there and all of the instructors were willing to help with anything and everything. I would recommend taking this course to anyone who wants to learn. It was hard work but it most definitely payed off. Thank you to everybody at WMCDL!

West Michigan CDL is a first-class school. They get you behind the wheel of a truck on the first day. All the instructors were very helpful in teaching the handling of a big rig!
