I applied for training in this school twice and was denied twice. I feel I am being denied possibly because of race because I don’t understand why I was denied if I am more than qualified for the training seeing that I am. CDL driver already and was simply seeking to upgrade from a class B to an A. I empathize certainly will not apply to this school again since there are plenty of other schools that will do the training without discrimination.

Subject: A Follow-Up Review on Winsor Driving School Dear Winsor Driving School, I am writing to follow up on a previous review that I had submitted on behalf of my husband, Ruben Pulgar, regarding his experience with your school. While I understand that I am not a student myself, I feel it's important to provide this update based on Ruben's journey with your institution. In my previous review, I expressed concerns about the quality of education and organization at Winsor Driving School. Unfortunately, I must reiterate those sentiments as Ruben's experience ultimately led us to seek alternative options for his CDL training. It is with a sense of disappointment that I must communicate that despite his enrollment and efforts, your school did not contribute significantly to his successful CDL attainment. Our decision to seek training at E-Z Driving School was driven by a strong desire to receive proper and effective instruction, something we felt was lacking during Ruben's time at Winsor. The disparity in professionalism and organization between the two schools was evident, and E-Z Driving School proved to be the solution we were searching for. Their dedication to the success of their students and their genuine care for their progress is a testament to their commitment to excellence. It is disheartening to find that we had to invest additional time and financial resources to rectify the shortcomings of our experience at Winsor. The initial impression we had of Winsor, unfortunately, remained consistent throughout the duration of Ruben's enrollment. The lack of professionalism and organizational challenges were significant hurdles that hindered his learning and progress. Today, I am relieved to share that Ruben has finally obtained his CDL through the assistance of E-Z Driving School. Their approach to education and their dedication to their students' success truly set them apart. I cannot emphasize enough the difference in quality between the two institutions. While it's my sincere hope that Winsor Driving School may take these criticisms constructively and make improvements for future students, I cannot alter my perspective based on our firsthand experience. I maintain my belief that your school falls short of delivering the level of education and support that aspiring CDL drivers deserve. Thank you for taking the time to read this follow-up review. It is my hope that, moving forward, Winsor Driving School can address these concerns and work towards providing a better experience for all of its students. Sincerely, Victor Gavilan.

This “school” (Windsor driving School) if you can call it as such, is supposed to teach you to drive, but they do anything but teach. The instructors are horrible teachers, they do not have a way of teaching that will help you to drive. They all contradict themself. You bette off learning on your own watching YouTube videos because they are not going to teach you anything. They try to confuse you even more just to have you upgrade to a higher number of hour. They do not stick to the contract when you try to upgrade and John the owner comes with new policies to overcharge you the amount that he desires and not as per contract in order to buy an upgrade. Be very careful with this school. I personally have a terrible a experience. I also will file a complaint against this business with the better business borough with the State of New Jersey. Consumers affairs has to be aware of the rip off of this so call driving School.

I really enjoyed the experience. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. As students we had a lot of time in the truck actually learning maneuvers.... hrs at times. The school provides the tools but you as the student must put in the work. The school owner was even out there helping with training. You would never know he was the owner... very unassuming. Overall I feel Winsor Driving school really wants to help change people's minds and in turn... their communities. If there is one thing I would change... hence the 'four stars'... time for an equipment upgrade. Peace and Blessings to all.

Winsor is a great school with a lot of opportunity. They are hands on with you and even having a driving simulator if you’re not use to driving a truck. They are very positive and love to help people get their cdl license. They help me so much that I want to help others in the future I would recommend them to everyone.

For the Expense of what you're paying for, my expectations were too high. For starters they don't have enough instructors for each student so you max out on 2 instructors for 7 students. Instructors were great btw. Each one house a unique technique they can teach you that you can take to make your own. Their selling point is the virtual simulator which in my opinion dosnt do justice for the overall knowledge of getting a feel of an actual tractor, gives instant motion sickness. The reason for my scoring tho is the quality of one on one time and the actual knowledge given to prepare you for the examiner. The place is dump! For the living conditions it matters when you can't focus in the dead of winter. But I didnt come there to relax in a spa I came there to learn which brings me to my last reason which was the quality of one on one time. Not just one-on-one but the content they hand us in general, is literally the same stuff you get from the DMV and they tell you read everything esp. sec. 11 and your on your own. Of course they make themselves available for you in case you have any questions. But if I am paying close to if not $5k for some quality education I expect it to be worth $5k, not something the DMV does for free! Overall I failed the first time simply off the fact there was things that wasnt pointed out to me that they should have noted before sending me off to the lions! And the second time I passed simply because I went on youtube to study more in detail what they expect combined with my past failed experience. That alone should tell you how much of a waste $5k was. But I did get to use their equipment... I guess.

Today was the day I finally passed my road test. I am so glad all of this is behind me. WINSOR School is the worse school to go to. I went to IDEAL DRIVING School where they taught me how too operate a truck. I was determine too pass so I spent 3000$ cash out my pocket to make sure I passed my road test. Winsor will sale you a dream for a dollar. Only reason you took me too my road test was because my job paid for Winsor too take me 3times. This was my last opportunity and I PASSED. Because I invested into myself and went to IDEAL DRIVING School for driving lessons.

I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend this school to anyone …The instructors are helpful, I will not take away the help they do offer…But you are really just teaching yourself and they will not take ownership if they misinform you and/or teach you something wrong…

I came into this school knowing a little bit about trucking. 3 months later, I finished my course with a lot knowledge about the various rules, functions, and maneuvers when driving a truck. The school has been very helpful in helping me learn how to drive a truck. I appreciate the instructors Hector, John and Phil for their teaching and wisdom. Office staff Giancarlos and Marianela are respectful and helpful with whatever I needed. I'm glad that I invested my time and money into this school and would recommend anyone who wants to obtain their CDL to do the same.

I came into the school knowing nothing about trucking and I learned a lot of information and now I am very comfortable and knowledgeable behind a truck. Only negative is the lack of instructors that where available to help me in the beginning. Great experience!

I decided not to go to the school. I did not have any driving instructions or any of the classes and I informed the school of my decision in a timely manner. The policy is that they have 30 days to return my full deposit. So 30 days have come and gone and after numerous attempts by myself to contact someone absolutely NO ONE from the school has reached out to me to return my deposit.. so obviously they're trying to jack me for my money. Don't know much about the quality of their school but that's the type of people you dealing with...... Notice no response from owner.

I have had nothing but the great experience with this school, especially with Evan since I spent most time being instructed by him. Great atmosphere, proper way of teaching and plenty of time on the field and the road. Make no mistake, come to Winsor, talk to Evan and you'll be in great hands when it comes to getting your CDL. Awesome people.

Great place to learn how to drive a truck. They get you ready enough to pass the road test on your first try. The lady that helped me study was awsome. And thanks to a gentleman name phill that gave me last minute instructions that came very handy minutes before the road test begun. T Highly recommend. Not as expensive as other schools in the area.
