Had a great experience with AAA CDL School. Their online classes and online study guides did a great job prepping me for the written part of the exam. The SIM training was a neat way to learn what to expect before actually getting behind the wheel. And once I got behind the wheel, the instructors did a great job of helping me learn everything necessary to pass the driving test. The one part that is the most overwhelming is learning all the parts and functions of the truck that you will need to know backwards and forwards for the pre-trip part of the final DPS test. But as long as you do the work and show up willing to learn through repetition, the instructors will see to it that you have the proper knowledge to pass the test. I couldn't recommend AAA CDL enough!

From the Day I started to the day I passed I was Guaranteed One on One Training, the standards where met and I passed easily, the instructors Cherry, August and Roberto had me learn Everything I needed to know without confusion or moving on without asking me if I completely understand, other schools don't give these aspects of teaching, Cherry doesn't mind going over things again again and again, as long as you know what's what, he wants you to ask questions and he take no joy in embarrassing you he just wants to see you pass, August give you a rundown strictly by the book, he great for your first day of pre-trip and over the road training, but once you get the hang of things Cherry brings the Melow to kill your nervousness on pre-trip and over the road, adding Roberto in on you DPS exam date, he walks you through everything you learned from school to bring your brain to focus! If anyone asks me I do the full 4 four weeks of school to be equipped with the skills you need to pass and make money, I now have my CLASS A CDL WITH TANKERS AND HAZMAT ENDORSEMENTS! I'm ready to move up in the trucker world!!! And fyi I didn't pass my first time at the DPS office, not because of the school but my own fault for not doing the two full one minute timers on my brakes air leaks process test lol, the examiner was sad to tell me I failed the first time because my pre-trip was flawless both times I did it, yess I did my complete pre-trip ( selection, coupling, light check and in-cab ) twice before my time was up with 21 mins left on the timer! The fact that I did it twice was all thanks to Cherry and his order or doing my sections! You live you learn!!

I always thought getting my CDL was an overwhelming experience, but with the help of this school it really helped. They were the only school that would work with my work schedule in the Houston area, but for anyone wanting to come here make sure you are always off on Sundays because that is the day they practice Pre-Trip. One day off during the week helps a lot as well. The instructors helped a lot, especially Cherry. Can’t say enough good things about him. Everything he said stuck to my mind fairly easy, and he broke it down in a way that made it a very simple process so everyone could understand the process and teachings of getting a CDL. I also passed everything the first time, so the proof is right there.

Amazing training and people. They will give you all tools necessary to get the license. If you pay attention and listen to them you'll pass certainly. Cherry will get your skills up quick and has creative methods to make it stick. August, Marvin, Ike and Eli, each instructor adds valuable information to make the program complete.

This is the best CDL school in Tx. I spent 3 weeks at gmcdlnow and I didn't learn anything. I was introduced to Irving Cherry by a fellow student of gmcdlnow school. This guy could not drive to save his life. When he told me he was successful in passing his CDL with AAA CDL school, I was bought. If you want to drive professionally talk to Irving Cherry.
