Love love love all of the staff/instructors!! Honestly this establishment changed my life for the better. Yeah there was a little issue with students needing to retake their tests but honestly it didn’t really bother me. 5 star did nothing but HELP HELP HELP and is still currently helping those who are trying to achieve their goals of getting either a Class A or B CDL! They’re all honestly some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The instructors are more than willing to help you in any area you need assistance with, while management (my favorite) is always on top of their game with scheduling tests and truly making sure evaluations are done properly. Definitely highly recommend attending 5 Star CDL if you’re in needs of a CDL and honestly if you’re in need of a new “family”. They have all taken me under their wing and constantly guide me in the right path! GO TO 5 STAR

I had the pleasure of working with 5 Star to get my class A license and couldn’t be happier. Noelle (director) & Jaleesa (administration) were so helpful throughout the whole process. 10-4 trucking is the best cdl training you can receive in the antelope Valley. They are a family oriented business and all the staff and trainers are full of experience and guide you through to be successful. I recommend this company to anyone and everyone that's looking for class A-B. They have patience and the time to get you prepared to pass at the dmv! I want to leave an honest review. I started 5 star CDL on 09/6/2022 and the first day I didn't pay she was very polite but later when I handed over the money the office is very rude and another big problem is she only has 2 trucks. the school use oldest trucks? During the day, they allowed me to park for only 30 minutes because too many students , because all students got driver license in 2022, it has come again. I studied here for 2 months and my license was declared invalid again, and now I got a class c license again I was wasted my time I don’t wanna wasted your time

I was introduced to this place by one of my friends, the staff is incredibly nice and friendly. I was only there for only 2 and 1/2 weeks before I passed my test. The staff is very patient with you and they help you push yourself to pass and want you to do your best, as the student you have to be willing to succeed to achieve what you’re they’re for, it’s all up to you if you want to pass or not. It’s an amazing place and I would recommend anyone looking for a CDL class.

5-Star is a fantastic school. Great prices and you can tell that the instructors care about their job and they care about training people so they can safely go over the road. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

If you’re thinking about attending, here’s what I think you should know. Earlier this year, this school was busted for improperly administering tests. A very large number of students who had already graduated and gotten jobs were ordered to retest with the DMV or have their CDL suspended. It’s only a matter of time before this sort of thing happens again. Management refuses to take responsibility, and there’s perverse incentives to pass low performing students. Here’s how it works: companies and jobs programs across the country send non-English speaking students here because they are almost guaranteed to pass this course. Many of these students are refugees, and the school gets large grants for taking them. These students learn enough of the script and pass the test, but many are not ready to safely drive on their own. This is not my opinion, the instructors say this. Management won’t say it outright, but they want the testers to go easy on these students. There’s a relaxed culture, where many issues slip by. They talk openly about the school’s pass rate, how they want it high to draw in more students. This whole process is out in the open and normalized. Because of the normalization and other incentives, money really, nobody wants to admit that it’s wrong, and there are bad consequences of this for the industry. Here’s how this business affected me: I have to take time off work to retest, losing income, and I have to use my limited free time to prepare. I have the threat of losing my license and job hanging over me. Many others are out of work, retraining or switching careers. As I said, management will not take responsibility. They have made up absurd claims about this, and will not answer questions. When I graduated, I hesitated to post a negative review. Despite the problems I saw, I still felt a sense of accomplishment for getting my CDL, and I didn’t want to ruin it by airing complaints. My sense of accomplishment is gone now because of what’s happened since then. Trucking is a demanding job, we deserve fair and honest treatment. That’s not what you get here.

I'm glad I chose this school. Staff and trainers are all professional and quick to help with any questions you may have. Training is available 7 days a week and they will allow you to progress at a pace that is comfortable for you. Much love to everyone there. ❤️

Less than 2 months after completing my training and testing at 5 star CDL, I was informed by the Virginia DMV that: "5 Star CDL Training, may have improperly administered your CDL tests". Thanks 5 Star CDL!

If you want to feel confident about your CDL training, this is the place to go! I went with 5 Star CDL to get my Class A CDL License. Howard and Noell were very clear from the beginning to trust the process and the skills will follow. They work with your skill set and focus on your specific needs. The instructors I had the pleasure to work with, Brandon "B", Pam, Jason, Cedric, Clarence work with each individual to attain the necessary skills to become a safe novice driver. The whole process was fast, and I was able to complete my training in minimal time. However, if I needed more time, I know that they would have allowed me to be as long as I needed to gain the skills needed to become a safe novice driver. As a driver, this is very reassuring that they have your best interest in mind, to become a novice safe driver. As a trucking business owner, this is reassuring that they will provide novice drivers that have the basic skills to start driving safely.

Overall regardless if I had to retest again. I still think it was the best cdl school I went too. I’ve been to 2 and didn’t get it like I got it at 5star. I got a letter, feelings was felt, but I know I worked hard to get it and I passed my retest through dmv. DMV testing wrong, making you back in from your blind side. You cannot do that. They trying to fail people. But when you know what you know. Thank y’all for helping me feed my family forever. I wonder if I didn’t pass would I still be talking like this. Yup, because I can do all things, thru God who strengthens me. Also we will never find out. Because I passed with flying colors

At 5 Star I got personalized attentions to my learning needs in order to obtain my CDL A license. I had the proper equipment to cover each face of learning. Even during this Covid 19 times, they were able to accommodate schedules, instructors and equipment to achieve the goal. Thanks you all

Our company paid $3,000 for an employee to get trained and tested there. He completed the course and passed the test. A couple of months later VA DMV sent him a letter saying that 5 Star improperly administered the test. He now has to test directly with DMV. Money wasted.
