Had a fantastic experience at Skagit City Truck School, I just passed my CDL A test on the first try. Great instructors and lots of time behind the wheel will prepare you for test day. Special thanks to the owner Joe and his awesome team: Mike, Ed, Tom, Bill, Jim, and Christian (sorry if I forgot anyone). I would highly recommend this truck school to anyone who wants to aquire any class of CDL!

For someone with no manual experience l, I was able to pick it up and drive proficiently within 3 weeks, in a giant truck nonetheless. Passed my skills test a month ago. Special thanks to Bruce and George for working with me a lot and their patience. Highly recommend!

I have truly enjoyed going to this school! The teachers are patient, adapt to your learning style, and have a way to calm your nerves. I have never touched a manual, and they taught me how to drive and pass my tests in a manual truck. Ed, Rhonda, and Sherrill are the best teachers I’ve had. And Mr. Joe is an amazing owner! Answered any questions I had and was kind with any mess ups I had. 10/10, I would recommend!

This place is the best! By far the best and most fun course I have ever taken. Dale is the best instructor I've had for learning a pretrip, Ron is the best back up instructor I've ever seen. Ronda is the most fun to drive with. All the instructors are great and take their time with you. Even after you have graduated they let you come back to do a drive if you need a little refresher. Even the owner Joe takes the time to share his real world knowledge.

All the instructors are very well trained & do a great job on training their students. I will recommend this school to anyone I hear talking about being a trucker or school bus driver. Such a wonderful school. The instructors are highly intelligent and excellent teachers. This school has the best rep around WA. Its name has gotten me job interviews because of its reputation. I highly recommend going here for a CDL class A or class B. You'll be happy you did.

Skagit city trucking school Is one of the most comprehensive schools I have ever been to. They are thorough, genuinely care about their students. Put great effort into finding graduates a job afterwards. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Awesome school!!! Instructors/staff and owner are all great teachers and very approachable with any type of issue. They are also to work around your schedule if needed and never leave a student behind. It is also great that they can make a judgement call when a student is a SAFETY hazard to the public. But they will work with him, to get him good to go. I saw it for my self in my class. All the instructors have great ways to help you get the information and will work individually with you if needed. Great acronyms and different ways to slow you down to make a shift and not grind gears. Safety and you getting your CDL is their number 1 concern. I would and will recommend the school to anyone.

If you want to get your CDL license, this is the place to do it! They make the class fun while teaching you what you need to learn. Each instructor gives you his own insight and knowledge to help get you were you need to be and they don't let you fail! I am so glad my son and I went to this school!!

These folks are great!! Got my CLP Friday. The pretest instruction is informative and thorough. Dale’s real world experience made it interesting and entertaining. Passed the test easily. All the staff are genuinely interested in each students desire to become a competent and safe professional driver. Hopefully the snow won’t delay the upcoming driving training. Old dogs can learn new tricks. ?

I have prolly been the worste student as far as attendance, this class took me months to complete, i was on LNI with a back Injury n ready for a new career even tho I wasn't ready to get back to work yet n they opened their doors for me n made me apart of something that changed my life! these people are amazing and very determined to get u from A to Z in the trucking industry! They take u in Under their wing n make u feel so welcome! I'm so glad I chose SKAGIT CITY TRUCKING as my CDL mentor/trainer, they got nice trucks n their own training course THEY WILL NOT LET U FAIL n that's a GREAT FEELING!!! 5 STARS and 3 thumbs UP yall kick Assssssss!

They helped me in 2012 to get my CDL Class A..... Everyday was fun, the instructors we're helpful and interesting. I highly recommend this school. I'm still trucking today, thanks, Joe!
