I would encourage you to find another service provider & there are plenty of options in the area. Their pricing is, on average, 25% more for standard PM's, & they do not stand behind their work when an error is found. Further, their GM, Chris, is unprofessional, doesn't listen, & talks over you during conversation. We own two 2022 Kenworth T270s, and we used NW Trucks twice for standard PM's. This last time, we had an oil leak during operation. Since our truck is still under warranty, I had it towed to the local Kenworth dealer (CIT Trucks) just in case it was an issue that was covered under warranty. Upon their inspection, they discovered the oil filter came loose, which caused the leak. When I called Chris to let him know about their failure, I also let him know between the CIT service & the tow bill, we were out $2000 to find NW Trucks mistake, so I asked him how they would make it right. He first blamed the oil filter manufacturer, & then he said I should've had it towed to him so he could check it himself. I shared I'd be willing to give him another opportunity if the next PM was on the house, a standard request in these situations. He told me it was above his pay grade & he would need time to get an answer. Almost two weeks went by, so I called to check for an update, & he became hostile. Anytime I spoke up, he interrupted, & the phone call ultimately ended with him hanging up on me. If you value your truck, & the quality of service you receive, I would NOT recommend Chris or NW Trucks.

One of the best shops I’ve seen, Chris the General Manager made sure my dogs and I were taken care of from food, getting us to and from the hotel and making sure my truck was repaired. My truck lost #4 injector and we couldn’t find one anywhere because they are on National back order, Chris and his crew did everything they could to find one and have it sent in over a holiday weekend. If I ever have problems I will be going back.

Jim was amazing to work with. I bought my first semi truck from him and he guided me every step of the way. Any issues I had, he fixed them very quickly and he was always in my corner. He is great at explaining things and never left me in the dark about anything. I also love how extremely responsive he is. I will be returning to Jim for my next purchase!

I visited this place for 4 days while my truck was in the shop. The shop looks amazing. You don't see oil or stains everywhere. What stood out to me was the owner pushing a broom! When a dam owner pushes a broom its a place that cares. Chris as well is old school and very knowledgeable he keeps his customers informed all the time. If they need parts 1 of 5 people can make a trip to make it happen. They seriously try to get you up and running. Every day with out a truck is $$$$ burnt. BUT also keep in mind many parts are national backorder. Between Eric n Chris,plus part dept, not to mention Danny. They have a well rounded shop to get you truck in and out ...if not waiting on parts..

I cannot say enough about Northwest Trucks. The professional and knowledge is superb. I worked closely with Jim who was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He was able to answer all of my questions and put any issues I had to rest. Honestly, he was just super friendly, gave off only good vibes, never once did I have a feeling of the “car-salesperson” attitude. They want you to be confident in your choice, purchase and their trucks. I couldn’t be happy that I was able to work with Northwest Trucks and especially Jim.

So I (luckily) pulled into the gas station right next door to them noticing my breaks were spongy feeling, damaged service air line, well the got me in even though really overbooked, vary nice staff including manager/owner. Apologized for the wait, thanks you so much for treating drivers like people, that is hard to come by. Your pals at Millis Transfer thank you! Literally in and out in about 2.5 hrs, and the only reason it took that long was their garage was filled up and I see why with their great service.

I bring a truck on July (today is 11/19/2021) to fix a problem with DPF system ok i understand parts shortage and all around that but 6 months, no no no... I got a bill for almost $6K for not fixed truck and we decide to bring the truck to KW dealer but we can't paid the bill with credit card or idk and MUST be a cash or cashier check. I deal with Chris there and he use all the lies in the world when i ask for update DO NOT GO THERE stay away...

Contacted Jim during the crazy semi shortage and before I could purchase my truck from him someone else had already sold it. But that didn’t stop Jim he constantly assisted me with weekly and his customer service made me warm and fuzzy inside .....? fast forward to me finding a trick somewhere else but nothing being totally sure about it and Jim helped me out tremendously on making that decision. Long story short as my business grows I’ll be back to buy a truck from Jim soon he’s a rock star

The General Manager Chris is awesome, the staff is great and they make you feel like family. Nothing but positive vibes energy and I love how things are verbally explained to you about what's needed, why it's needed and the great advice that's going on with your truck services including things about the truck that doesn't need services.

I called and scheduled an appointment for my 2012 cascadia to get an engine diagnostic. I brought it in on July 23rd at 8am that morning to be inspected, Which I also included the found issues of what was wrong with my unit. Never received an call before the day was out, so I called to check status of unit and was informed that they need an additional tool from their palatine location. The following day one of the issues were diagnosed to be EGR cooler issue. The part order wasn’t submitted until Wednesday and parts didn’t come in until Thursday. I followed up on Thursday to see if old parts were already removed from unit to assemble new parts. I was lied to “YES” I called Friday and was informed I needed a new pipe associated with DPF system, so old parts weren’t removed until Friday. I had to pay air fare and labor for this. On Monday unit still wasn’t ready due to inspection sheet not being followed as I informed issues of my unit. Another diagnostic had to be ran and verified that EGR actuator was bad also. I was given a remanufactuerd actuator that was bad and tech didn’t know where to proceed without reaching out to Detroit diesel and informed needed brand new from freightliner which of course cost more. Unit still wasn’t ready that following week Friday and unit was still down going into a third week. There was no compensation on anything. I spoke with general manager John Jefferson and he lied labor rate would go from $98/hr to $75/hr. I did calculations and none were given. With me having my own business I was gonna pay for bill with business card and they told me they will not accept my business card because they don’t know me, they don’t trust me, and have no loyalty with them. That inconvenienced me due to having to wait for financial institution to open at 10 am. I paid with a cashiers check. 24 hours later check engine light came back on in unit. I called to inform on this Thursday afternoon and was told they won’t look at it until the following Monday of the new week. Being upset is an understatement after paying 7 thousand dollars cash for this job and treatment. HORRIBLE is an understatement of these guys.

Very very unproffesional people, very poor service. I don’t know what to say about them overthere. If you can skip this place go somewhere else. They will hold your truck 10days more than they supposed, they think that they know something but they don’t know anything. They will give you one price at the beginning and the second at the end, which will be 500$more than you agreed. And their manager Erick, i think it was Erick. he was sooo unprofessional, you can’t talk to guy, he will start yelling at you, he doesn’t value you as a costumer... really don’t know what to say about them. i am surprised.
