Extremely Disappointing Experience with Truck Country Hampshire, IL I regret to say that my experience with Truck Country in Hampshire, IL, has been nothing short of a complete nightmare. I felt compelled to share my ordeal to prevent others from facing a similar situation. We purchased three trucks from this location, with the understanding that these trucks were under warranty. To our shock and dismay, all three trucks failed their DOT inspections. This should have been a straightforward process, but it quickly turned into a costly and frustrating ordeal. When I contacted the Hampshire, IL location about these issues, they promptly washed their hands of the problem, insisting that I needed to contact a different dealer within the Truck Country network. This passing of responsibility was not only unprofessional but also extremely inconvenient. What's more, despite numerous calls and attempts to resolve the matter, they have yet to reimburse me for the substantial costs I had to pay out of my own pocket. This lack of accountability and disregard for their customers' concerns is nothing short of unfair and unethical. I sincerely hope that nobody else has to go through the same situation that I have endured with Truck Country Hampshire, IL. It is disheartening to see a company treat its customers in such a callous and negligent manner. I urge potential buyers to think twice before engaging with this dealership. In summary, my experience with Truck Country Hampshire, IL, has been a complete and utter disappointment, and I implore anyone considering their services to proceed with caution.

If I come back through again and break down at their gate I’ll call a tow truck to take me somewhere else. Their so called quality inspection missed an air leak and had to turn around and put it back in the shop again after being here 4 days. And their service writers need just a little bit more of people skills. I will be glad to get out of here hopefully before St Patrick’s day and I will not be back.

DRIVERS BEWARE I bought 2 trucks from truck country this same dealership. First truck gave me problems expensive problems as soon as I got off the lot. I called and called and called when was told Bought as is tough, 4 years later. tired of the issues with that truck sold it for Parts. I figured maybe my luck would change in Bought another truck giving truck country The benefit of the doubt, well I was wrong, Totally wrong. Nick was the dealer ,totally lie to me everything he said was a total lie. Promise me everything nothing got done on the truck. The second day I got that truck off the lot Dpf pump Went After that. 20 other items I had to get fixed. Then I had to get the whole fuel system replaced Due to metal in the fuel pump ,tanks and in the lines . in the thousands $$$. Almost made me go Bankrupt And I only had the truck on the road for 16 weeks, Called and talk to the General manager Sam, in other words he told me Basically the same thing as is tough. The truck was nasty wasn't even detailed and had a bad smell in it, Being in a hurry I figured I can clean it myself I had to go., Nick told me that's the best they could do sport as is., Their favorite word. I don't recommend this dealership to anyone fact they should close down. They sold me that truck with metal in the tanks and in the fuel system. They are a major rip-off. I will never deal with them again done I am looking for lawyer.,

they kept my truck for more than 1 month.problem was high pressure fuel leak.they replaced the 2 sensors and leaking pipe .diagnosing took 3 weeks and it cost me $1.700+labor $2.100. they charged for labor $210 hourly + tax $567. total cost was $4.367. i think it's overcharged and they took too long. if you bring your truck here you will lose your money and time.THEY DON'T RESPECT YOUR TIME.and they take care only money.

Great feedback for repair (not for sale), they did a major truck repair (cylinder head) in just 16 days which was covered under warranty. better than expected.

Very responsive, polite, clean environment. James was personable and explained everything that was going on. Invoice showed complete description of work. All the staff we dealt with were pleasant. We felt the costs were reasonable.

I had a terrible experience with this truck service. The staff was incredibly unprofessional, and they took forever to complete a simple job. The quality of their work was subpar, and I had to bring my truck back for the same issue multiple times. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

If it would be possible, I'd rate this place a big fat ZERO. My husband's truck broke down and after he was home for a while, he wasn't getting answers. After 5 weeks of NOT WORKING on his truck, I called and reemed Troy Jepson's ear off to get someone to work on his truck and that it WAS NOT a company truck. I called many times and was blown off and not given answers on 1st shift. It finally was finished after 10 weeks! The service manager, 1st shift, Derek Malget, never gave me answers and kept blowing me off. I also HAD TO DO THEIR JOB AND LOCATE A PART FOR THEM! Yeah it was a part where there was supposedly a shortage but with a few phone calls I was able to get. I was emailed a receipt after I couldn't locate the receipt but my husband had it. I HOPE WE WEREN'T OVERCHARGED! The figures were different and all over the place! I added each item and subtracted payments that were made on one receipt a few different times and the amounts totally DIDN'T match up! Then I did the same with the other receipt and those amounts were totally DIFFERENT! EVERYTHING WAS A MESS ON BOTH RECEIPTS! I'M LOST AND HOPE TO GOD WE WEREN'T OVERCHARGED! AND HOPE WE NEVER END UP THERE AGAIN!!!! And yes I have already talked to the general manager about the service and Derek

After reading the horrible reviews I gave these guys a test run and ordered a hard to get part three business days ago via their on line chat function. Thanks Jennifer for wasting my time. I really wanted to bring my motor home here for a lot of work. But y’all failed the test: you have a monopoly of location, but lack customer appreciation. Good luck going forward.

WHEN WE ARE WORKING IN CHICAGO WE PURCHASE GENUINE FREIGHTLINER OF NORTH AMERICA PARTS FROM THIS LOCATION. THEY ARE GETTING THE LOCATION UP AND RUNNING AND ARE WORKING HARD TO SERVE TECHNICIANS AND OWNERS. TRUCKERS NEED GOOD LOCATIONS TO FIND THE PARTS THEY NEED WITHOUT HAVING TO GO TO FAR WHEN THEY HAVE A BREAK DOWN. IF YOU AINT BURNING FUEL YOU AINT MAKING MONEY.

We had dropped a truck off for a tire pressure sensor only, we found out that they dont touch anything with tires let alone a sensor until after they ran a 420 dollar "diagnostic" and truck was "ready" to be picked up an payed for. Other than that no complaints for truck country of hampshire. They are great people and always friendly.
