I had a great buying experience but a horrible experience after leaving the dealer. I bought a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia September 2022. Since I’ve bought the truck that’s when my experience became a headache, I’ve been having overheating issues and very high fuel consumption. The truck was sold to me with both back brake chambers caged. I’ve almost had to call road service a few times from the starter going bad to the Ac compressor pulley completely flying off and breaking my fan belt along with my coolant reservoir. I’ve had to replace my water pump, thermostat, wheel seals, starter, and couple other parts. To make things worse after my fan belt broke I opened my hood and the hood is completely falling off from a broken hood pivot bracket . I still haven’t figured out what’s causing the fuel consumption. I understand it’s a used truck and some things will go bad but everything going bad all at once is ridiculous and after paying top dollar I would expect a better quality truck.
