This is by far the best shop I've dealt with! Adam in their parts department is awesome to deal with, and most parts have the best pricing around. In recent months, I've dealt with their service department, and everything has been smooth with Phil and Chris! Definitely recommend using them for all your truck needs!
Not sure if the hours are wrong or people just stop picking up the phone at a certain point but I tried to get a hold of this business tonight at 10:45 and 11:00 p.m. and no one would pick up the phone. I was on hold with the recording for about 15-20 minutes
My company has bought many trucks from Boyer. Their sales department is amazing and great. No complaints there. Their service department is terrible. Do your self a favor and take your truck to midway ford if you are able. I’ve had multiple bad experiences.
I had bad experience with the service advisor in this morning and I am not recommending this location anymore. I brought my truck to make alignment after they did they said the kingpin is bad they did not told this at the beginning before they do the alignment I took the truck and founded still is same as last time I ended up changing my kingpin and came back to make another alignment after almost a week he said we didn't make the alignment because your tie rod is bad they did not mention tie rod in the frist alignment I asked him if he is going to charge me again he said yes I said last time you made a mistake and you didn't told me the kingpin issue until you make the alignment he said that is were I am at.
**WARNING** Do not get repairs done at this shop. We dropped off our truck for a leak, knowing it was the gear box, we brought them the seal gasket that we purchased from their parts dept, telling them do not open it if they are not using it so that we can return it. After finally getting to our truck(a day after our appt was set) they didn’t have the gear box in stock so they were not doing anything with that part. When we went to get the truck they part we brought was open causing issues to return the part and the truck is leaking way more than it was when it was brought in. The communication is terrible and the issue is worse than when it was brought in, but they say they didn’t touch it. Do not use this shop! They will make the truck worse than when it is dropped off to them. We are seriously thinking of filing a legal suit against them! **WARNING**
So disappointed. If you are not a large commercial truck company then don't waste your time. Brought it in for an inspection as I had just bought the truck and was going out of town. I ended up having them change the rear brakes and rotors. There was absolutely no communication, I would call to check the status and they could never "find the paperwork" and then state they would call me back with no call back. When I picked up the truck they did not explain anything that was done. To top it off, on our vacation the noise on the driver side was still there and my air conditioning which worked when I dropped it off didn't work. You would think these things would have been checked. I could go on and on. I am saddened at what customer service has turned into.
People are super nice. My appointment was on time, I got my truck back when promised and it drives like new. Best dealer repair I have EVER had. I’m shocked and impressed. Nice work over there team!
I paid them to replace the serpentine belt in my RV and asked for the old belt to keep as a spare. A few thousand miles later, the belt broke and the old belt they gave me did not fit my vehicle (not even close). The service call cost me over $600. I suspect that they charged me for the belt replacement but didn't do it and just gave me someone else's old belt. There were also some communication issues. They told me I could wait for the repair, but once I got there, they told me they couldn't do it today. It actually took them three days to do about an hour of work (assuming that they did it at all). In addition, they promised to keep my rig inside where the contents would be safe. Later, I discovered that a $90 pair of driving shoes were stolen from the rig while they had it.
I had a fantastic experience with Cory and the people at Boyer. Bought a Jeep from them. Super responsive, way quicker and more nimble than big retailers. They helped me even after the purchase itself.
Took my rig for coolant leak. Ripped me off $800 fixed nothing. Told me that I need to replace my radiator for $3700. Took it to another shop charged me less than $250 to replace the line. Problem fixed. No more leak.
Do not use these guys!!!!! They charged $212.00 to tell me i had a leak!!!.. so i was good with $144.00 per labor. Good mechanics deserve good pay. I watched the mechanic pull my truck in, open my hood, exam my radiator, put the pressure attachments on my resevoir and find the leak on my top radiator tank almost immediately. 20 minutes tops.. i watched these guys and timed it.They charged my fleet owner an hour and half labor... that is a horrible thing to do.. they used the excuse i got you in before a full work load.. uhhhh yeah so you could rape us!!!! Avoid avoid avoid
They were great. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I was there to purchase a Ford Transit for my company. It started with Brett in sales at the Savage location. It ended in financing with Fernando and David at the Lauderdale location. The paperwork was all ready when I arrived. Just had to sign in about 20 places (?) and I was out the door. They are even delivering it to Lauderdale as it is much closer to my office. Thanks guys!
I don’t know how they get 4stars they wasted my time as well get charged $450 for no one told me my issue and they want to do more Dynastic Estimated 2k my issue truck will regen more then one hour and still keep regen unless you disconnected I took my truck to other shop fixed right away never go there
One of the worst possible experiences I have had trying to spend money as a business owner. I have had a few trucks serviced by them, but by no means will I be spending money again with them.
Mark in the service dept answered the phone and immediately seemed to have a Chip on his shoulder over something.. Spent the rest of the phone conversation talking him off a ledge just so I could get a diagram looked up that I needed for a job. He seemed to be better towards the end of the phone call, probably realizing there was no need for his poor attitude in the beginning.
First time dealing with them and hey treated my like family. Had a antifreeze issue in my RV, they diagnosed the problem and are going to fix it withing 24hrs. Thanks again Boyer Brian with the troubled Winnebago
Was driving on 169 north this afternoon. An individual behind was tailgating me, stopped at a red light and when green just kept tailgating. When the truck passed me, Boyer Trucks was plastered on the truck. Good PR
