Honestly these guys are great. My first review was a bit hasty on my part. The gates weren't open on time and I got annoyed after a long drive to get there on time. After working with the parts department as well as service, these guys are top notch. It's a long drive for me but if I need something from them I'll be quick to head back out again.
So I'm an independent owner operator and this shop has a reasonable labor rate and fantastic service. John Sams was extremely professional and kind on the phone and in person. If you're looking for service I would call this shop. So my my first impression is definitely 5 stars!
We purchased a truck and this dealer also sold us a $6k warranty. The truck needs a new engine. The dealership did a great job getting the warranty company to pay for the repairs
We deal with Kenworth in Canton for three of our businesses. We've never had an issue that couldn't be handled. If there's a problem, normally Tony or Erica will help figure it out. I really appreciate folks who actually care and help make things better. We will continue to purchase our parts from there. I wish every place of business was operated like Kenworth of Canton.

A+ experience I bought a used 2018, model 880, from Mike Thurston very knowledgeable and helpful before and after the sale . very happy with my experience, Thank you Kenworth of Canton for the beautiful truck.
The staff was very kind and professional. It took a pretty long time for the minor repairs I have, but that seems to be typical of Kenworth. Drivers are not allowed to stay in trucks over night so plan on getting hotel accommodations. There is trailer parking.

I called these guys up for part. Which were an accessory driver and all the gaskets and cam and crank sensor. Come to find out that my drive is still ok it's not the problem. So i called the parts guys up for the last two days no answer and no phone call back. So i called today got ahold of the parts manager and was told that they will not take any of the parts back because they were specially ordered. But wgen ordered them i was not told these had to be specially ordered. And i was told that they never sell any of this parts. But yet kenworth and peterbilt has cummins n14 motors in them what a much of liars. O and by the way the parts bill was 1878.00

Went to Kenworth in Canton Ohio and talk to Mike Thurston about a KW T680. It was a 2017, Charcoal Grey in color. Beautiful truck. He went through it with me and explained the things I thought I needed to know. He was very knowledgeable and polite. The entire staff was friendly and everyone was polite. I didn't want to leave there without buying a truck but I had other things that came up. I will be going back there to buy my next truck when I'm ready.
My experience with David Alder at Kenworth Of Canton was the worst experience I’ve ever had as far as business is concerned. The 2010 Peterbilt I have just purchased from David is far from being the vehicle he posted on line. He said everything was working in that vehicle, but A/C had problems, signals were not working, inside carpet was dirty, engine oil was dirty, coolant was low, and fuel was also low with red light on. Besides, there were no triangles or fire extinguisher inside the truck despite the DOT inspection David provided me a week earlier. This is falsification of Federal Documents. All the problems mentioned above were problems I found when I flew in from Florida to get the truck. I had not seen the truck, however, the offer was made via phone based on the reputation of the “Kenworth” name and David’s words. Oh Boy, I was wrong! My reliable way of doing business was not reciprocal at all. For example, my money was wired to him within two business days after the offer, the Florida Taxes were paid the same day he had informed, and the charges for the inclusion of the tire tread depths in the DOT paid upon request. My remuneration from this salesman was abuse and disrespect both verbal and written( Texts). Records can not lie, so CORPORATE, please do your job! He wanted to even get physical with me, while I was complaining to another employee in her office. David literally attempted to close that female employee’s office door on me, and even tried to force her to say that she didn’t want me inside. However, even as scared and shaken as she was, she didn’t say that. David Alder became irate and exhibited that bestial behavior just because I refused to pay some unfair labor charges for the À/C and the signals his shop fixed. I also have to point out that I had to go get the parts for the À/C, which I paid myself. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have fixed it. When I stood up to his extortion, his rage pushed him to deliver my truck outside the gate while I was still inside the dealership, trying to contact Corporate. No employee could say anything, but you could tell from their facial expressions that they were in shock. All the records are here and available. From the multitude of phone calls I made to other Kenworth dealerships, looking for David after he received my $19,750, the various emails exchanges, the texts he had sent apologizing for his absence of professionalism, to his manager’s intervention regarding his aggressiveness, his child-like behavior, and above all, his total disregard or ignorance of Customer Service. David’s philosophy is as follows: Once you’re buying a used truck, accept and expect any Junk, and if the repair is not DOT related, the buyer must pay for it. As he famously put it for me when I arrived on Thursday: “This is Trucking Business”. With a statement like that, one should run as far away as possible while he/she can from greedy and unethical salesmen like David Alder. I wanted to give -5 star, but the system didn’t let me. In order to post, someone must give, at least, 1 star, which I find very regrettable and absurd.
Unbelievable! Simple as that, the owner response to the customer!!! From this review, It seems like nothing went well on that deal.What type of service recovery this company offer to their unhappy customers? Hope someone in management will finally contact you, Sir. Good Luck!
Really Not worthy of a single star!! But to post I had to click 1. I Bought a truck from this dealership in October 2017 after flying in from the East coast and got a Bum deal. I dealt with John the sales manager, who spoke highly of the white Kenworth with brown fenders that they claim to have taken in from a local owner. To keep it short lets just speak on the faulty Anti-Lock Brake system that they sold the truck with!!! (The bulb on the dash panel was Removed!) Best believe there were other serious defects that should have been addressed as well. So I left a review on here shortly after the purchase and Josh in their corporate office reached out to me. The conversation with him ended with "he would look into the issues and get back with me". That DID NOT happen!! Also I guess they have a way of deleting some of the unfavorable reviews. Because my original review did not last 3 months. To date I still haven't heard from John the sales manager or Josh from corporate. I have no favorable recommendations for them as a result. Highly disappointed and in awe that Kenworth allows these people to advertise along side their name. Funny how reviews after mine get a response from the owner, but my review did not. Deplorable Customer Service!!!
Dealership has always treated me great. Used truck department and the used truck manager Dave was professional and found me the perfect truck. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great deal on a great used or new truck.
