The scammers im driving 6 hours to see the wreckage with oil leak, engin don't start , a lot of rust dramat and he want for this truck 49,000$?Good Joke don't buy anything there
I have had good results every time I buy a truck from them I have bought at least 6
Nothing but good things to say about Anna and Ray. The trailer was exactly as described and they went above and beyond for me. I’ll be staying in touch with them and referring everyone I know to them. Well worth the drive from Metro Detroit. Thank you Ray!
This company has been around for many years but highly recommend them for any heavy equipment purchases
Patrick’s review isn’t very helpful, if you want to buy a truck you want a greasy oily unwashed unpainted and prettied up truck! Im coming here tomorrow to pick up 2 trucks and a trailer and I know what I’m buying because they didn’t wash or painted to hide issues, it is what is… I like Ray, seems like a stand up guy and I’m ready to give him a shot to get all our equipment from. We usually buy 3 units a year. I have drove 2k miles in 2 weeks looking at beautifully painted and cleaned trucks, all junk… I like Rays trucks with the oil leak, the grease and the rust! It means the truck runs!! Good luck everyone and give them a chance, or ask for detailed pictures before the drive.
Great place!! Hard to find an honest used truck salesman but Ray is one of a kind! He really knows his stuff and is willing to work with you to find the deal that works for you.
I'm not a customer but a cab with Midwest Truck mudflaps pulled out in front of me and continued to drive under 25mph on a road of 55. If you ask me, he didn't know what he was doing. You could hear gears grinding, and the left rear directional apparently wasn't working as he stopped to turn onto 70w. Unacceptable driving. No plate. Just the flaps w a phone number and their company name. I have pictures.
Well, as much as I didn't want to have to do this...here we go. We bought a truck from Ray almost a month ago. We drove almost 10 hrs one-way, and some paperwork got mixed up (not any fault of Ray's though) so we were there 2 full days. **Ray continued reassuring us that this truck was an absolute gem, and he had numerous other buyers to swoop in if we backed out. By the time everything was squared away, we finally get on the road to head home on day 3, which we were exhausted and concerned about starting our 10 hour drive home considering departure time was 2:30 p.m. Needless to say, not 30 miles from leaving Midwest Trucks and Equipment's parking lot...the service engine light comes on. Immediately we pull over and call Ray. (Fully prepared to turn back, and drive it right up somebody's behind.) But we were reassured, yet again that this truck was as solid and sound as they come, and he still stands behind that with telling us to go ahead and get it home and into a certified shop first thing the following morning, and that he'd pay for all repair costs. (Even went as far as saying he was a man of his word, and we had nothing to worry about.) SO, next day truck goes to a local certified shop...that afternoon we're contacted by the shop to authorize the pressure release valve on the back of one of the turbos to be done, at an estimated $2,600. Contacted Ray, and he said go ahead he was going to pay it. Well, here we are a month later...and still not a dime from Ray. We paid the $2,785 out of pocket just to get the truck back. Ray's been ducking and dodging our calls. Then 10 days ago he says the checks in the mail...still no check though. And at this point we've been given the run-around so much, I highly doubt he's going to honor his word, and be the man he claimed to be. So, for anyone out there looking to purchase a semi...PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HEED THIS WARNING ****DON'T BUY FROM SOMEONE THAT CAN'T/WON'T/DOESN'T STAND BEHIND WHAT HE TELLS YOU, OR FOLLOW THROUGH WITH AGREED UPON TERMS OF ANY CONTRACT-WHETHER WRITTEN OR VERBAL**** *****If for some reason we'd receive payment on the work done after posting this...I will gladly remove, and give a revised review******
I am a small repair shop in North West Ohio that did work for this company they still owe me $3500 from 3 years ago. I have many customers That have not had good experiences with this company . If you have any questions just call me wray brothers repair.
Ray was always good to me purchased 3 trucks used they worked fine would purchase again if need be best wishes to his staff and business
Absolutely horrible business practice!!! Buyer beware, did nothing that was promised from start to finish. Waited 2 1/2 months for my title, lying at each turn to get more time,he is obviously not buying these truck traditionally and runs into trouble at times with title, which you still have to pay payments and insurance on it while you wait, and cant put the truck to work. He promised to pay a payment because of title issues and never did. Also all fix promises were never touched, walked in signed papers he brought the truck out and nothing was done that was agreed on the promissory agreement before delivery paper. I advise to run in the opposite way!!!!
So bad there is no way to deduct stars. This guy , Ray, I strongly believe, is the worst sells person ever. This guy is a pathological liar. Take my advise please and stay away. Look for your next truck/trailer elsewhere.
Seemed like a wonderful person, however he owes us money from several years ago. Deal with this company at your own risk.
