One off the best peterbilt shop have ever been nice and clean
These folks are the best! Whether you're buying your first Pete or tenth or maybe you're just needing a PM on your Pete - Ohio Peterbilt is where you wanna go!
Excellent shop. One of the best dealerships in central Ohio. Diagnostics and repairs are unmatched, great team of people from the techs to service write up. Only giving 4 stars because the shop is pretty rough. No parking, limited shop space. Other than that great shop
Good spot not too busy, acceptable customer service. But a little too slow and not well trained personnel. Unfortunately Peterbilt as a whole has gone way far away with their reliability that now they’re relying on software to cause trouble when something could be fixed by a fuse, now needs to be ecu programmed, and they don’t train their technicians either so they can address instances too. How is It possible that a brand new 2023 PETERBILT needs a whole wiring harness so the parking lights can work, when they’re in the same assembly as the turn signals and they are working fine all the time, the in cab check page isn’t noticing any defaults, and there’s no fuses blown, no codes no faults. Anyone that knows basic coding, knows you just have to access ECU module through the JPRO, get into the file and change the value so you can have them working on both access, but NOOOO, tech says it needs a wiring harness worth $7000. If it’s not Peterbilt failing at training their techs, then it’s this location trying to make some profit at the expense of truckers. DO NOT MAKE BUSINESS IN THIS PLACE, if you bought the extended warranty with your truck, they’ll hold you there for a minimum of one week. Shady business!
Not my choice for truck service, or rental/leasing. My company rented a truck here this week. It was filthy when we went to pick it up. I was told that I could take it to the local truck wash, to get it cleaned up. The truck wash did put the charge on AMG's account, but, I feel that the truck should be road-ready when you pick it up, and have a good, clean appearance. The truck had a 'Check Engine' light on, and a warning to call Peterbilt Service. After less than 100 miles, I had two 'Check Engine' lights, and an ABS brake light, flashing in my face. When I called and asked about these lights, I was told that "It should be okay". At my first stop, less than 20 miles away, I get out of the truck, and there was smoke rolling out from the fenders, and from under the cab. I contacted my company, to inform them of the problems I was having with this truck. The decision was made, to return the truck, and rent one elsewhere. This whole process wasted an entire day of our deliveries, put us way behind schedule, and was an extra expense that shouldn't have been. Sorry, but I'm not impressed.
A great and honest place to have your truck repairs done. Everyone one of them go out of their way to help you out in anyway they can. From the mechanics, to the service writer, to the shop manager, to the parts department. They do what they can to make you feel at home and to make you feel as good as they can about the services your truck needs. I never hesitate to bring my truck to them when repairs are needed!
I called to ask for part information to do repairs myself and the guy(missed his name) stated they do not give out part numbers. We have an account with Columbus Peterbilt and this is the only company I have ever had issues with asking for part numbers. I called the grove city location as soon as the call ended and the grove city employee gave me all of the information I needed with no hassle at all. I will not be returning to Columbus peterbilt and will give the Grove City location my business from now on.
Great and friendly service, fixed my truck when no one else could highly recommend!
Put my truck in shop and they weren't able to find a air leak ?
Charged almost $500 for diagnostics that were wrong - came back with an estimate for $8900+. Took my truck elsewhere and it was fixed for less than $300. Second time they’ve given an estimate for several thousand dollars, and when I take it elsewhere, the fix costs me a fraction and/or they’ve misdiagnosed. The interaction with this shop alone, has me buying a different brand of tractor for our next purchase. Completely untrustworthy.
Got exactly what I needed at an affordable price, and the service was more than enough alone to keep me coming back! Very satisfied with my experience here.
Great customer service and will keep you updated on progress of the unit they are working on. They are also quick on repair time.
Nice and friendly people need a driver lounge
Great personal and great service the check in was easy they got right to my truck .
They were very efficient did not take long to do the job on my truck very nice people I will come back to this facility
My heater core went out and I was stuck at the truck stop. Matt in parts was courteous and very helpful. He had my part delivered to me first thing in the morning saved me from losing a load. Great guys. Highly recommend.
Been coming to this shop for 5 years and I’ve never been disappointed with the service. Great customer service from Nick and Jeremy.
No Driver lounge! Small Waiting area with 5 chairs. Have some place to go. Because it will take all day. Went in to get truck fixed had it entire day. Received the truck at closing on Friday. Made it 30 minutes down road alerts and warning came right back. At 55mph had to take to another Peterbilt shop in Grove City and wait until Monday to be seen. Receptionist was nice.
Service writer excellent, she was very nice to meet and discuss and solve issue getting truck fixed, my company lease's truck , and her and the service manager found that there's a campaign issue at Kenworth dealer and advised me to take there for the ambient temperature sensor issue. Great people I really appreciate there professional opinion. Thanks
