I recently visited colonial Volvo Trucks Shop and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of service and expertise displayed by the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and attended to promptly. The mechanics did an excellent job with the maintenance and repairs on my truck. I was impressed by their attention to detail and the quick turnaround time. Overall, my experience at colonial Volvo Trucks Shop was exceptional. The staff was friendly, the service was top-notch. I would highly recommend this colonial Volvo Trucks shop to anyone in need of a professional service." And I want to thank specifically Ronnie Davis for helping me fix my truck

I'm a Fed Ex Ground contractor. Had to have one of my Volvos that broke down towed to Colonial Volvo Trucks. Estimate, repairs, and billing all went as expected. The outstanding service came shortly after we picked up the truck. An unrelated event caused the truck to breakdown 60 miles after picking it up in Fredericksburg VA. Turned out to be a major air leak. Called Colonial and spoke to Neil that we needed to have the truck towed back down again. Neil gave us number to a local tow shop whose price was fair and quickly towed the truck to Colonial. When the truck got back to the shop, Neil's mechanics were able to quickly repair the air leak and re-install the draft shaft. My driver was back on the road headed home within 30 minutes. And the extra nice / great part of this was there was no charge for fixing the air leak. I would have gladly paid for what was owed. I was thrilled that Neil cared enough to help my driver get back on the road so quickly. Thank you again to Neil and Colonial Volvo. I have multiple trucks that travel Route 95. If and when another breakdown happens in the area, I will definitely be calling Colonial Volvo.

Not professional stuffs , they do not have enough knowledge about fixing trucks , specially Volvo don’t bring Volvo , so the funny things is they only have G pro and can’t tell you what is the problem in truck just try to get you lr money believe me . You would regret if you go there , better to find another mechanic.

I'm doing some local work for a couple of months here, and I needed to find a dealership instead of Love's, T/A, or Pilots. Needed to replace my batteries, and the cost for the batteries was fine. The labor was for 1.5 hrs, and they said because they clean the terminals also. Isn't that common practice? Other dealships or Love's charge 1hr for labor or less. They did finish before an hour, so I was pleased. Two days later, I returned for a PM. They have 3 different price points for the services. I took the most expensive and more detailed one,$440, and didn't include a fuel water separater. That's an extra $50. No biggy. I got my bill, and it was higher than I expected. You'd figure it would have been closer to $510 or so. Closer to $575 because they charged labor to screw on the fuel water separator. Dont forget to tell me their's labor for that. I've never heard of a dealership not including that in the services. I walked towards my truck, and I began to see fingerprints from the greasy and oily hands. On both sides of my bumper, rims, doors, and they spilled oil on the leafsprings and diesel from fuel water separater as they removed it and never wiped anything off. I started my truck disappointed and started to drive off, and my truck boggled down and shut off. I went back inside and told them and showed them the oil marks as well. After 45 minutes, they started my truck again. Whoever worked on the truck didn't out enough fuel or anything in the fuel filter. I guess it was filled with air and not fuel. I would expect a lack of pride or less work ethics from T/A, Love's, or Pilots! I'm very confused from a VOLVO dealership. I need to get more service to my Volvo, and I'm not sure where to take it now. I really do wanna go back because the two guys who got my truck started had pride, and they showed they cared. Eric and the other guy!! Thanks, guys!

Amazing Volvo shop. Neil Holland really took time in booking my appointment and seeing the work done on an emergency coolant hose leak. Thank you so much Colonial Volvo. I have been coming to your shop for many years and have nothing but good things to say. Every problem I have had , they fixed and the repairs held. Thank you again!!

The technician guy at service was awesome, he helped fix my Volvo truck’s derate and malfunction system by just replacing with a new fuse. The other fuse was out. He didn’t want to charge for his service and neither he accepted my tip. He has a beautiful heart. God bless him. For this issue, at TA truck stop service they kept me for 4-5 hours and did nothing, not even found the issue and charger me $90. Good people with good heart still exist. Thank you again….

TAKE YOUR TRUCK ELSEWHER!!!!! Horrible Volvo dealer. Should not even be authorized to be a Volvo dealer. Made an enormous mistake doing a major engine repair and service manager continues to deny their mistake. Tractor has been out of commission for a long time and all they do is continue to deny their mistake. If I was an owner operator, I would have been out of business. Horrible, horrible dealer. Absolute crooks. $10,000 in repairs, then the damage caused is well over $30,000 and are not willing to help with anything!

BUYER BEWARE! Sold me a brand new 2020 Mitsubishi Fuso in March 2021 that was having problems and they never disclosed it to me. It’s already been in the shop twice and I’ve had to spend over $1200 in rentals with no reimbursement whatsoever. Avoid this dealership and Mitsubishi vehicles at all costs. No integrity or morals there in the slightest. UPDATE- Then they lie about not knowing you're having problems. Spoke with the salesman and service manager and all they could say was it's a Mitsubishi issue. How do they remain open being so crooked?!

This is a terrible place, I highly don’t recommend doing business here they ripe you off. -Fist they ripped me off in parts, they didn’t gave me full refund for the core. -Second they wasted my time and will waste yours. I made an appointment for a simple oil change. I have waited four plus hrs after my appointment time and my truck didn’t got pulled in the shop. I expected someone to start working on my truck at no later one hr. of the appointment time. Please consider another shop before Colonial Volvo Trucks.

I was sitting at the Loves in Ruther Glen and my tensioner pully broke. It was late and everywhere that sold truck parts were either closed or didn't have what I needed. I called down to Colonial and spoke to Mario. Not only did they have the part I needed, Mario brought the part to me when he got off work, despite being an hour out of his way. Thank you Mario and Colonial Volvo. You deserve more than 5 stars and I will make sure to send people your way any chance I get.

I highly recommend this place. I was towed in because my turbo blew. Unfortunately I had to stay in a hotel for 2 days but Ron and James were excellent in communicating their progress and they actually came in a little under their estimate. Job well done.
