I quit using Goodman about 15 yrs ago because their customer service had gotten so poor, but l took a shot that they had improved and the outfit that l usually use was 3 wks out.l saw no improvement if anything they have gotten worse. I have to deal with repair shops regularly because I have multiple trucks and equipment. I won't do that again

After our RV received some body damage, Shane and his team came through for us! Shane was very responsive and communicative throughout the entire process. He sent pictures along the way and our rv, “Star, is as good as new! I would recommend Goodman and Shane to anyone needing body work or a paint job! THANKS again to Shane and his team!

goodman truck & tractor had my truck for 3 in a half months and still did a bad job , I communicated with them very well on the problems I was having and 50 of the job was done..... I took my truck to a local mechanic and 5 minutes into the visit he found that my turbo was blew and my number 2 injector was bad... I SPECIFICALLY TOLD GOODMAN TRUCK AND TRACTOR to check my injector functions and I was told they did and to no surprise I was ALSO charged for that diagnostic.. if I could give zero stars I would

The staff here, especially Shane, came to our rescue, big time!!!! We own an RV and the roof ac got torn off the roof during our out of state travels. Luckily it happened in VA, cause upon stopping there for help, they did a quick fix to get us back on the road, so we could head back home to the northeast safely. The repair worked wonderful, we ran into thunderstorms and No Leaks in the RV interior!! Thanks alot guys.....you are great people and an attestment to the kindness of Virginians!! Jill and Fran

I've got to be honest on this one. The Staff is extremely friendly, however the problem with my truck still exists and was present as I was leaving the shop. I don't expect free repairs by any means, but $850 for hooking the computer up and not fixing my problem? I've got a lot of heartburn with that. I've always heard Goodman was the place to go to, but my experience wasn't too great. Would recant my review and statement if things were made right.

I just bought my first truck from Goodman Truck and Tractor and highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy an International in the Richmond area. As a new motor carrier/owner operator with limited knowledge on how to buy a truck I knew I would need a salesman that I could trust (if you don't know your jewels, you better know your jeweler). Matt Goodman was just the guy. He and his uncle run this family owned business with a culture focused on character, a value passed down to them from Matt's grandfather. I purchased a 2018 International LT Sleeper and Matt went through the specs with me and he also reviewed various used truck pricing sources with me and we agreed on a fair price right in the middle. He also performed additional work to get the truck road ready for me at no extra charge. The only obstacles I had during the experience were the time and the financing. As it took three weeks to the day for me to complete the process start to finish due to the time it takes for the shop to get the truck ready and due to the time it takes to go through a broker to find financing options for a new carrier/owner operator because the dealership does not do its own financing. Other than that, buying at Goodman Truck and Tractor was such a great experience overall and I'll be returning here when it's time for my second truck!

I’m an O/O with 1 truck. Normally dismissed and overlooked and used to dealers who can’t even be bothered to correctly write down my issues to send to the technicians. But these guys fixed ALL my issues. Even the ever-present shaking/ alignment issue that made driving my pro star a daily assault on my aching back and arms. It took them a couple of extra days to figure out (out of round steer tires, even on the brand news tires they ordered), but they kept at it until it was fixed. My productivity has skyrocketed because I’m now driving a truck that I’m not cursing every other mile. Plus a really thorough PM that identified emissions problems they fixed before they became a real problem. If every dealer was this invested in their customer’s satisfaction, the world would be a much better place. Major kudos, Goodman Truck & Tractor!

I have had two body repairs performed on my 9400i at the body shop and I've been extremely pleased on both occasions. The manager, Robert Hill is top notch and easy to work with. Head and shoulders above the other International body shop that I have used. Can't comment on their mechanics, but if they are comparable to the Body Shop you will be well treated.

First We would to thank Mr. Terry at this wonderful trucking company, He made this turn around possible, so while y’all going to Rush Truck Center or Cummins with delays such as 3 months backup for service. PLEASE TRY “GOODMAN TRUCK & TACTOR CO. THEY ARE THE BEST … MY 2016 International 4300 was broken. My truck was missing very badly. Terry jump into the mechanics of things and found on the 3rd fuel enjector a bent Push Rod,….. ?. Less then 2weeks truck fix. These guys is No.1 in my book. Please ask for Mr Terry he is the best. They whole team is great!!!!!

Went in for a DOT inspection waited 41/2 hours for them to say I needed front brake shoes and needed to replace a new brake chamber. Told them to go ahead and fix it. Called me back an hour later to say they didn’t have the right brake shoes. So I went and picked up my truck. Stopped at a boss shop in Indiana. They said I didn’t need anything. Gave me my inspection. Do Goodman thanks for charging me $152 for nothing. Won’t be going there again

Easy access. Great people to deal with. NOT your typical dealer atmosphere. VA. inspection done in 1 hour ! RV labor rates are high ,but this is not a RV dealer. It a truck shop !

Do not bring your stuff here. They will tell you they can fix and then refuse to take it in when the tow truck gets there I heard from the locals I'm lucky it didn't go there anyway.

I'm with Campbell lumber company in Appomattox we had some damage done on our truck they repaired damage painted it done a great job thanks to Shane working with us

They were very professional and explaining the resort of the truck they even gave me a ride to the motel and back the next day thank you very much I will recommend people to this place
