Schroeder Truck Repair is a family-owned semi-truck repair shop located in Denver, Colorado. We originally opened our doors in 1991 as Schroeder Auto Carriers. Our shop was famous for the quality of work that we performed and our unparalleled fabrication skills. In the late 1990s, Schroeder decided to get out of the auto-hauling business. Our reputation for integrity, quality workmanship, and renowned customer service just wouldn’t allow us to stay closed for long. After much demand, we re-opened our doors in 2001 as Schroeder Truck Repair. What we thought would be a small repair shop just kept growing and growing because of our quality and reputation.

I'm very satisfied with the work done on F250 brake system here. My brakes were a disaster, and since I was traveling through Denver with my slide-in camper in the bed, I had to take it to a semi shop. These guys did a timely and thorough repair job, and were kind to work on my truck even though it's not a "big truck". The price was good and I will 100% be back should the occasion arise. On top of being skilled & professional, they were also friendly and easy to work with.
Great shop!! The only damn shop in this whole state I Trust!!! Truckers I came here to find a coolant leak. Everyone who I called bs me around! I came here and they are a family Business who is a True RED White and Blue God Fearing shop!! You get honesty every time! I’m telling you now if you go to any other place you won’t be happy! I trust them with my rig! It’s hard to find a place like this that believes in honesty! Theses guys work so hard to provide for there families and to help keep us on the road! I wouldn’t know what to do with out them!!!!! 10 years plus otr Trucker! Real customer review!
I've been using Schroeder's since 2010.My 2016 peterbilt had 95% of all repairs done here. I bought the truck new in 2015 it has 735,000 on it. They do all the work on my 2023 peterbilt also. They also do all my trailer repairs as my trucks are car haulers. Top notch service, excellent staff and good people that stand behind their work. They have gone above and beyond for me numerous times and I know they would for you too. Thanks for all you do! Great job for a really long time.
Did great work replacing the glow plugs, harnesses, rellay on my skoolie. They don’t always work on international but I knew what I wanted done and they were happy to oblige. Everyone there was welcoming and friendly. And a solid rate for Denver. Would definitely return
A buddy of mine recommended this shop. What I appreciate about this shop is that they actually take reservations for work. Many shops have gone to a first come first serve, which in my business does not work. My truck has to be on the road and working. They were able to schedule me, get me in evaluate the issues get parts and get my truck out in a single day. Great service, friendly staff and quality work. I will return to the shop for any other issues my truck has.
Very dissapointed since I've used them before and was pleased, but I've learned they have had a change of management. Came in at 7 am when they opened, just to get a speed limiter change and an inverter installed. Barely spoke to me when they told me to pull it into a bay...after 2 hours waiting for someone to tell me what was happening, they present me with an estimate of 1200 for the inverter install...lots of extra cable and labor rates higher than the dealer charges. I said no thanks. Needless to say I won't be back.
Ill start by saying this shop will probably get the work done, it might take 3 or 4 times in the shop, and you will probably pay for some things that didnt need replaced and you will also pay for some stuff that was told they repaired or replaced that didnt get done, but as Brandon will tell you thats the cost of doing business. This shop is probably the worst in Denver. I would not recomend going here.
I have read the reviews and must say I don't know who made them but they are FALSE one guy said he likes that they make appointments they are a first come first serve. Next they suck at repairing trucks I took my truck here for dpf problems they told it was fixed and gave me a q400 dollar bill, I took the truck and almost immediately started having issues called talked to Grant about the fact that I wasn't using any def he told me not to worry my truck was good to go. A week went by I called Grant again about not using def he told me to bring it in I did and he again told me there was no issues with my truck. Today my truck debated and I was towed to a different shop, so after paying a 700 dollar tow bill ( that could have been avoided) the shop infoed me that my def pump wS not working, I feel with 2 times in a shop this would be one of the first things checked This shop is horrible.
I have worked here since 2010 this place has become a second home to me. Every person that works here cares about the customers and the quality of work that rolls out the bay doors, we are a team here and want everyone that walks thru our doors to know we care about getting the job done in a timely manner and making sure its done correctly and that their vehicle is safe for the road. If you chose to come here you will be taken care of for sure!
I purchased a 379 Peterbilt from them. They were amazing to deal with. They answered all my questions over the phone. I drove 14 hours to see the truck and was met with some of the most professional friendly people. They gave me all the time I needed to inspect the truck. The batteries were flat and they came out and jumped the truck for me. After some more questions answered, I decided to purchase the truck. Brandon was incredibly honest. He could of made up any documents to prove an inframe was done. He instead advised he knew one was done but could not provide proof, so the pricing of the truck was done accordingly. I then asked him to inspect the truck to ensure it would make the 14 hour trip with no issues. He quoted me a price and stuck to it even after finding the parts would cost him more than originally quoted. He picked me up at the airport the day I was to purchase the truck. There were some finishing touches being done on the truck so Brandon treated me and my father to lunch while we waited. On my trip home I had an unforseen problem. A diaphragm in one of the brake vales let go. I contacted Brandon and he responded to my location and assisted me with the repair, while he was in dress clothes. All this after shop hours. He got me on my way only charging me for the part, no labor or service call fee. The next day he even called to make sure I made it home safe. This is the kind of customer service that is unheard-of in this day and age. I continue to do business with them when I need parts. The correct parts are shipped directly to me. In short if you wish to deal with honest professional people these guys are where to go.
I have serviced my 2021 Cottrell trailer at Schroeder for the past year or so. Very accommodating staff and always a pleasure to work with. Even fit me in last-minute to do a quick repair when I was in a pinch. Highly recommend Schroeder!
If I could give 10/10 I would! From the first phone call kindness from Ambrea to the knowledge and patience of Dacota and Jesus about my vehicle. They stand behind their quality work to get me back on the road! Strongly recommend!!
Just had my transmission replacement done and everything went perfectly! A little change in management and I felt like it was alot like the Schroeder's of old. Very happy!!! Thanks guys!
These guys are GREAT! I only wish i had found them sooner. We set up an appointment for work and it was done in the timeframe we agreed on and now the truck is running like a champ!
Incredible company and great service. Their rep Josh make sure I felt comfortable and only paid for the services I actually needed. Would recommend to anyone.
Great company! Some of the best mechanics in CO at a great price, and none of the dealership markups. The only place I’ll take my truck to.
