They take my truck back at the time of my appointment like they said would would and they perform the service in a timely manner without trying to up-sell services I don’t need. The price is always surprisingly lower than I anticipate. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else.

Malone diesel is very experienced and did a great job. Very happy with the experienced as my previous mechanic couldn't figure out how to fix my truck. Malone figured it out and had it back to me within twenty four hours.

Our AZ company has trucks working in Texas. I found Malone and spoke with Whit numerous times long distance He was honest and up front, no surprises and billing was exactly what was quoted. The office staff is helpful, the work performed was great. I would recommended them to anyone, and plan to use them again in the future.

We got Amazing (really amazing) support when we stalled out in our diesel motorhome in Dripping Springs recently - we barely made it into the HEB parking lot just down the road from Malone’s. Whit, the service manager got info from me and he talked to Steve Malone about our issues. Then Steve came out to the RV and ran the error codes on site, wiggled the wiring harness to our injector solenoids after looking at the codes, and it ran perfectly to get to a Freightliner shop. Yay - no tow!! Steve and Whit also gave us advice with a couple of options about where to take it to get work done since they couldn’t get to it right away. Christi also was very helpful on the phone. We were very impressed with the professionalism and level of help these folks gave us - thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Would definitely recommend them for service and troubleshooting.

The tech did the most thorough RV Safety check that we ever received. In addition to lights working properly, he checked each wheel to make sure the wheel bearings were in good shape!

Came in with no notice to have some work done on my truck. Not only were they timely with it but the pricing was fair and they went beyond by inspecting other parts for me and let me know things were in great working order. Highly recommended!

Whit and their entire staff help my daughter and I with a major insurance settlement. Very professional and kept us informed as to the final repairs. Would certainly recommend.

Called around about getting my RV fixed and Malone Diesel was the place to go,I was told. Called and they do not have mobile mechanic and would have to have it towed. Stopped by a few weeks ago, told the person behind counter of problem, toldbring it in. Called Tuesday and confirmed to bring it in, said bring it. Tow truck then could not get to it until Thursday. Call Thursday told bring it in. This is not a little tow truck but a $250 an hour big boy. Pull in at 1, told won't look at it, no room in lot, take it somewhere else. Started to call around for some place to take it, after several calls and time took to Modern Diesel in Austin, another hour away!! RV would not start, was running but sat too long, may have lost prime, but refused to look at it at Malone. Similar reviews on yelp. Stay away..

I had a terrible experience here... I was reffered to Malone by Jeep Masters they mentioned their mechanic Dewey was a great one and had moved there. I initially brought the Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a "failed block test" which later Malone said there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. I voiced my concerns about not having coolant ever in the system and multiple times was told that is an overflow reservoir and it is not supposed to have that. I was then charged 2500 dollars to change out the radiator and lines because the car wanted to over heat. after I picked it up, the AC randomly stopped working and was charged another 3000 dollars to replace the entire system although it had never failed before. Malone said to replace all the AC system because finding where the leak was would take time and for some reason I trusted them with their judgment. They destroyed my interior wheel liners when the air suspension got busted with the cold storm that hit. I took it back for warranty work because the AC system was not working properly and would not cool. Malone said well when we have it in the shop it didnt work properly but it works now... so we cannot fix anything if it is working properly. I had enough of this terrible service and my car having problems every time i went with no repair. 2 days later my car completely overheated with smoke in the engine. Within 2 days at the dealership they determined the cause of the coolant leak inside of the valley of the engine. I was immediately offered a replacement to this which in over 1.5 years of taking this to malone diesel they did not find the leak. I had a terrible experience in every way. No warranty repair work after 5 days in the shop, was charged around $5500 dollars to replace parts that were not the problem the car was having, and things kept breaking every time I took it. Malone was clearly responsible for breaking my wheel liners and didn't even want to replace that, not sure how they would even make up for the terrible service. Owner verbally said to me " I know what kind of work we do here, I do not need your business if you want to accuse us of that " when his mechanic CLEARLY told him we did that during the driving test. Atrocious.

Steve Malone has got to be the nicest guy ever! We are so grateful for him, his hospitality and professionalism. His team at Malone Diesel was quick to help us with our car through diagnostics and excellent service. Every time I called with questions they were very helpful and went out of their way to assist us and our concerns. Definitely recommend them for anyone who needs diesel & automobile service!

I was on vacation in Blanco and on the way home my serpentine belt broke. The guys there found time almost immediately to take a look. Turns out it was a bigger problem and not a quick fix but so thankful they took the time to check it out and offer advice.

This is by far the best mechanic place to get anything done from diesel RVs, to 18 wheelers, to Honda CRX! They will do everything and anything and the prices are more than fair. They were able achieve things that no other mechanic or specialty shop could. Everything from tracking down a rattle, to rebuilding engines, I could not recommend a place higher than these guys!

I’ve used Malone Diesel for a long time and they always do great work. They have replaced injectors and also done a ton of maintenance work. The customer service is excellent here!!
