My wife and I have gone here for several services and have always received the best service. The staff works well together and they are very professional. We got our Cadillac inspection done quickly and it was fairly priced. We will be back for sure!

I really feel bad about writing this review for it seemed like they were up front and honest people. But between flying home (Billings MT.) and back and motel and repairs- we had over 20 thousand dollars into it and 2 months later we finally got our Motorhome out. However We still had the same problem with it , for it took several attempts to start it and then on our way home to Montana I kept smelling diesel! So when we arrived home we took it over to I-State and they were amazed that we even made it home safely! Here there was diesel leaking all over and many of the nuts and bolts were loose and the Turbo was not installed correctly and wrong fittings and tubing were on it and so much more was wrong! In which this cost us almost $ 8000.00 more from all the mistakes they had made! Oh and the main culprit of this whole mess was the Chip that had been installed on our Motorhome to get us better fuel mileage!!!! Once the chip was removed it turns over on the first try and here in the long run it cost us over $30,000.00!!! I did let Wayne know what was going on-and he paid for the estimate that I-State gave me and said I couldn’t come back on him if it cost anymore….. so when I-State got done it was 3000.00 more then the estimate so I’m out another 3000.00! I-State informed me that they had never seen such a messed up sloppy job before!!!! So a 500.00 chip that was supposed to give us better fuel mileage cost us over $30,000.00 !!!!!!!!!!

Honest service here?Wayne helped me learn sometimes you gotta pound a trailer lock to get it open?He couldve sold me a sales pitch that it needed to be replaced and taken my money but instead helped me out with am honest solution. Hands down this my place from now on to service my travel trailer?

Called them to see if they could come look at RV A/C. 58 miles away. $149 service call fee, 149 an hour labor fee, $95 something else fee, 149 fee travel x2 because you have to pay them for both directions. Plus fuel charge.... etc etc... All this before you even know what the problem is??? People this is a SCAM !!! Dont use these people! To bad the rest of the world cant get that kinda wages!

Our air compressor on our RV locked up and broke the engine belt leaving us stranded on the interstate. After calling several "emergency road service" places that said they couldn't help for several days we were lucky enough to get ahold of Wayne who sent out 2 people within 30 minutes. unfortunately we needed a part that was not available in town but Wayne found one and had it overnight shipped and then sent his 2 guys back to finish on Saturday morning. GREAT service and I wish we lived closer because he would get ALL my business.

Yes, 5+ stars: They were recommended by others, knowledgeable in the trades. They took my project albeit they had others that had come before. Wayne & Charlie are extending knowledgeable and with many years of experience. I have designated S. TX RV & Truck as my mid-point service facility between Florida & California. Returning next month to continue with more work.

Took my Motor home there for a rear wheel seal leaking. Yes they got the job done at a reasonable time and I was charged around 480.00. I took a trip to Arizona two weeks later and only 400 miles on the road and the wheel seal began to leak even worse than the other one that was replaced. I managed to make it to Las Cruces NM and had a a new one put in. Another 500.00 to replace the wheel seal. I didn't say anything to South Texas Repair because I didn't want to hear excuses and probably wouldn't get my money back. Sorry but wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Tech showed up at designated time. 10 min. To diagnose what I already knew. Charged me agreed service call and labor charge. (Over $350) Told me it would be 8 to 10 weeks to get parts and it would be minimum of 2 more hours labor. I got parts in 5 days and repaired myself. What a waste of over $250 labor cost.

We traveled here from Maine in our Motor Home and developed a clicking noise. Unable to find the source called South Texas RV & Trailer Repair. To our surprise they said come right over. Two technicians came right our accessed the noice made a hub cap adjustment and sent us on our way. We were very concerned and they assured us they could help and although a minor fix they were professinal, helpful and yes fun all at the same time. Thanks so much. The Roberts from Maine

While I feel certain that the General Manager will immediately refute this review and feel compelled to tell the world what a Christian man he is and how he prays over the vehicles he works on, the reality is that he is a short tempered fellow that raises his voice should a customer ever dare to ask questions about the work, time frame, cost or basically anything else about their work. My first clue should have been when he told me repeated stories about how he had helped people and then had them not pay and how he was going to do his very best for me. It didn't take long into the transaction to see the unprofessional behavior. We just got our vehicle back and I am hopeful that the work is good. It may take a while before I find out. We broke down about 6PM and finding a mobile repair service isn't easy if you don't have an established relationship. I was pretty new at this so I just kept calling until I reached someone that would come out to see if they could get us running. The mechanic showed up pretty quickly determined that the transmission was shot and it needed to be towed. They would not take my credit card over the phone for the mobile repair and expected me to put photos of my credit card and drivers license in an email or fill out a form with that information. Any security person will tell you that is just asking to be hacked or have your identity stolen. They claim it's required by their credit card company, but I find that highly doubtful. I drove out to the site to meet the mechanic to take care of payment. When I spoke to him before leaving my office he told me he would arrange the towing with someone they knew. It took 30 minutes to get to the site and when I got there he had not called the tow company and claimed it needed to be paid before they dispatched which turned out to be completely false. Pinx Towing was wonderful! This unfortunately caused about an hour delay before the tow truck arrived which could have been avoided had the mechanic had me call them in advance. They took the payment when they arrived on the job site. Use Pinx if you ever need a tow for a big vehicle! The next morning I got a call from Wayne Smith, General Manage, with the news that the transmission had to be replaced along with the time frame to repair and the cost for labor and parts. The next troubling issue was that they needed a down payment for the parts which I found odd and worrisome that it might not be a shop with enough cash flow to handle a purchase of a part that would seem to be normal in their type of business. I drove out there with a check to resolve this because again, I was not going to provide an email or text that could be hacked with my cc and DL info. I received several more calls over the next two days with more problems that I assume were legitimate repairs. I asked reasonable questions about cost and time frame and it seemed to irritate him and he often responded defensively. If you aren't used to what repairs like this cost, they can be shocking and it would make sense for someone running a business to try to be helpful and not resent having to provide this information. Bottom line the truck was in the shop for 4 days, not 2 as originally estimated and the bill was $2000 higher than the original estimate. I understand that additional things were done that weren't in the original estimate, but I found it odd that someone who claims to be in this business for many years can't do a better job estimating and identifying all the problems up front to set more reasonable expectations. Again, I am hopeful that the quality of the work and the parts are good. I would never go back to this shop simply based on how I was treated by Wayne and their inability to take a credit card payment in a secure manner. The young lady that answers the phone, Sabrina, is friendly and tries to be helpful, although when I asked for the name and phone number of the owner to discuss this, she walked away and said she would have Wayne call me. Overall, not a great experience.

We had a blowout on our trailer which also took out a brake line. The service person went to several auto parts stores before finally going to a trailer sales and parts store a mile away. They then charged us for the time that was wasted which was a pretty good amount. They did get our trailer fixed but my problem is how much they screwed us

Wayne and his men were so helpful. I was thrilled with their service and kindness. The work was perfect. Quality work is not cheap but they saved me a lot of money. Thank you Wayne and guys!!

Ohhh boy Wayne charged us more than 7k just because we had problem with starting truck it was starting but had to pump gas but after taking a week and spending tons of money we towed our truck to the dealership they made even worse and plus they charged us $1100 for only Oil change because his mechanic didn’t know how to do oil change changed us five hours labor $150/hr that’s crazy

Hiii everybody be careful with this people they are so bad peoples at all just their mind about money hanger money ?????? . Before almost one year they cost me like $9,000 with parts fuel pumps,,,,ECM Computer,,,,6 injectors they told me this things your truck problem you have change it I said okay and then they finished everything they call me to take my truck after like 4-5 days and then take my truck ready to work I got loads from San Antonio,TX to Oakland,CA I was drop my load at Oakland,CA then take break for 3 days in Oakland,CA after done ✅ my break I got load from Oakland,,CA to Columbus,,OH I take I-80 to going Columbus,,,OH when I drive like 3 hours my truck shot down when I got up hill oh God I’m not driving this truck one week or month just one ☝️ trip People it’s really disappointed ☹️ i tired to start again the engine no at all I was angry ? and found mechanic guy on goggle I was call him and then I told him everything my day then he coming to me he try to fixed my truck but he can’t finally he asked me can I try to start the engine by starting fluid I said okay he try it the truck engine on I was happy ? again he cost me like $350. Started driving I was driving like 5 hours after that the truck shut down again on I-80 Nevada I forget the city name and then My Truck towing to dealers they can’t fixed I waited for them one week in the hotel ? finally they told me take your truck to Freightliner dealers Salt Lake City,,,,UT oh God it’s really bad day I was talking with my self alone and finally I was take my truck by towing to Freightliner Salt Lake City ? UT. Freightliner figure out my Truck problem it’s was one engine harness and injectors harness is cost like $500 after fixed this thing thank you ? to God and Freightliner dealer my Truck no problem to this day almost one year. I always mad ? when I remember this guy always they just charged me for nothing $9,000 dollars with part my truck problem wasn’t Fuel pump,,,,ECM computer,,,,6 injectors this is really really bad work for them you guys try lotory to get money ? sometimes lol ?.
