One star for being there on time. I don’t know why they named the company “Amigos” they are far from that. Should be named SCAMMERS. They charged us $690 for 2 O rings and a fitting. $300 to go to you(back and forth) even though they were 20 minutes away. Then $150 for the service call and $150 for 1 hour service. $50 for the parts plus tax. And there you have it. Do yourself a favor and don’t call them. This is a response to the lame reason It wasn’t midnight when we call and this is the first time in 6 years that a road service charged us “from port” fee. That’s a scam!!

Amigos exceeded my expectations in every aspect of their service. The knowledgeable and friendly staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. Our truck entered in derate late night and luckily we were attended to in after hours. The expertise displayed by their skilled mechanics was evident in the thorough diagnosis and efficient repairs of my truck. The turnaround time for the repairs was also remarkably quick. We appreciate the extended support from the staff!

I encountered a breakdown 15 minutes away from Amigo Truck and Tire repair and waited for their mobile service for 2 hours. The non-English-speaking mechanic on-site stated that roadside service wasn’t possible, requiring a tow to the shop 6.5 miles away. The shop manager explained opting for roadside service would triple the time and charged $640 for a service call, two-hour minimum (though the mechanic stayed less than an hour), and a port-to-port charge. Facing a tight schedule, I reluctantly agreed to be towed, but the tow truck took an additional 3 hours. At the shop, the manager claimed inability to access a part, contradicting an earlier assurance. After expressing frustration, he suddenly could service my truck immediately. The mechanic spent 3 hours finding the part and 1 hour servicing, resulting in a total charge of $2200 for a $50 part and a maximum of 4 hours of service. Due to shifty individuals like this, small trucking businesses struggle to thrive, burdened with unnecessary costs and unreliable service from establishments such as Amigo Truck and Tire repair. My total expense of $2200 for a $50 part and a maximum of 4 hours of service further exemplifies the challenges faced by small trucking operations.

Deserve zeros stars. The guy running the shop Josh is a scammer and con artist. He told me I needed the batteries for APU to be fixed. He charged me $145 for each battery where the actual price from the same place he picked them up is $109 each. He didn’t even install the right batteries and my issue didn’t get fixed and still charged me the full price and he didn’t tell me he doesn’t take credit cards. He had his van behind my truck so I don’t leave before paying. What a scumbag

I broke down on 295, limped off the hwy and eventually made it to a parking lot. I lost track of how many shops I tried that couldn’t help me (some would have, but their techs were tied up-understandable) Amigos sent Felix out, he helped me figure out what was wrong, he fixed it and we were back on the way. Pricing was disclosed ahead of time and they honored it. I would not hesitate to use them again. And 2 thumbs up for mi amigo Felix!

Great commercial shop!!! They were prompt with the arrival. The repairmen was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. My trucks run the area several times a week so I definitely will be doing business with them again. And they are an 24hr. shop which is an added bonus.

I do not post bad reviews often if at all, but this place warrants it. They are very dishonest and out to take your money. I called and told them that my truck needed the radiator replaced. I even called around and told them where to find the radiator and the price. They said no problem, and quoted me 4.5 hours of work. Well, they ended up charging me over 7 hours of work, an extra hour on top of that for a diagnostic that we did not need, then they upcharged $480 me on the radiator that I found. There are other places in the area, DO NOT USE!!!

Be carefull truckers!!! They will offer you to tow your truck at their shop for cheap /300$/ But thats gonna be the catch! Then they rip you off good. Did a 6000$ repair there and the morning we PU the truck from shop it lights up like a christmas tree! They are saying those are totally different issues than the one we repaired. So my truck had to go to dealer couple hours later and all the repairs they did for that 6k were not needed /only the water pump that was leaking was legit/. The whole problem was coming from the fuse box and a a lose cable. They did change many sensors that i guess were working properly and who knows even if they changed them or not. Keep in mind also they dont accept credit cards so you have to come up with a huge amount of efs, zelle or cash $$$$

This workshop is full of real scammers. I brought my truck to them with an issue of erratic oil pressure level, and I immediately pointed out this problem. The service advisor promised me that if this turned out to be a problem with the oil pressure sensor, they would replace it, taking into account a minimum of 2 hours for diagnostics (360$ for diagnostics and replacement). In the end, they charged me 360$ for diagnostics and another 360$ for replacing the sensor (1 hour to remove + 1 hour to reattach), even though the sensor is easily accessible and takes only 10 seconds to remove. Their PM service labor cost is 240$ where they forgot to grease my truck. That’s insane And most importantly, the problem wasn’t resolved. I left on a truck with the same problem I arrived with, but now without $1700. They are unscrupulous money-grabbers, that's a fact.

My husband took our truck here to to have it diagnosed on a Thursday. Once diagnosed, it was confirmed that we needed a fuel injector. Amigos confirmed that they could complete the work for $2700 and have it finished by that following Monday. This is the only reason why we agreed to have them repair it. Well, we did not get our truck back until an entire week later. They also charged us $3795, which was not the agreed upon price. They claim that they had to buy an additional part for the truck, but the dishonesty is so blatant, I struggle with believing this. It is poor practice to discover additional issues with a vehicle and not update the customer before completing additional work. They charged us for an additional diagnostic as well. The price gauging is just horrific. The parts are over priced beyond reason. Not to mention, they do not accept credit cards. My husband had to run out and purchase a cashier's check to to pay these crooks. I was not aware that my husband was taking our truck to these people. Had I known, they would have NEVER gotten our business. I make it my business to read reviews before patronizing new businesses. These folks lack morals and values. Apparently, they only care about lining their pockets and not building lasting loyal customers. We have a yard with several trucks not 5 miles from this place. The Vulcan Rock Quarry is no more than another 10 miles. We have numerous friends, family and colleagues that own trucks as well. When I say that we are going to tell everyone we know on every social media platform known to man about these folks and their poor practices. The sad part is, for every bad review on here, they have a rebuttal, instead of a promise to do better. They may have scammed us out of some money but they will not be in business for long. Whatever you do, do not support this business!! "Amigos Commercial Truck & Tire Repair".......what a joke. There is nothing fiendlike about these crooks. Take your business elsewhere!!

These folks really don't deserve to be in business. all the lies they told me. my water pump went out on my 2016 lone star. on the topside of Richmond VA call amigos commercial truck repair first he was going to change it out on the side of the road. he said it will cost over $2000 not too mention it's dangerous and if the police catch him he will be charged. I get that no problem then he say he'll me too his shop for 400 and it'll be cheaper I told him I have a trailer he said no problem. I called the Kenworth too make sure they had it and told them that the KW dealer has it. The next morning they came in had the water pump off by 8am the new water pump came about 830-9. They took the guy who was working on the truck and had him help-another guy pull a transmission out another truck. I told the service guy about it he said I would only be charge for the time he worked on it. Got the bill I actually lost my breath at first the bill was $3,851.00 after talking with josh about the bill he knocked $160 off the diagnostic fee after I explained to him it should'nt be one I told them what I needed and where to get it. a $1800-1900 job cost me $3,691. PLEASE DON'T FOOL WITH THESE PEOPLE THERE NOT GOING DO YOU RIGHT.

They are literally thieves. They will overcharge you like you can't imagine. I knew that they would charge me a lot of money based on previous reviews but not that much. Lying over the phone first, then overcharging, and not accepting credit cards. Cash only. They know they are shady and want cash only. Never again I would consider stopping here again.

I called there. On the phone was a guy who don’t really knew how long it’s takes to install inverter!! I have 6 trucks in my company and each one before i got another one had an inverter inside! Installing the inverter takes usually 2-3 hours (MAX!), his answer was: „yeah… if you say it’s takes two-three hours… then… ", i mean the shop- > PROFESSIONAL SHOP who works on the trucks need to know those things and if we talk about orders like described there is not really point to go there cause they are not realizing how long it’s takes!! ??‍♂️?‍?️ wherever! If i see other experiences with this guys i am not want to stay there! Beginning with blocking the truck! No Credit Cards! Endless work on the order which has a charge 160$ per hour! No way. If somebody call the shop with experience want hear exact what the person speak about! I go somewhere else! Thanks!!!
