My wife and I purchased a 45 foot coach bus to convert into a tiny home, but failed to have her checked over mechanically when we did. 2 years later we found ourselves having to move across country and needed the bus, only half-done, to make the drive. RV shops I contacted were unable to take her because of her size or powertrain, so I reached out to On The Spot Truck Repair after looking at a number of other commercial truck shops who either had troubling reviews or just never returned messages or phone calls. They were very friendly right from the start. Though not normally their type of client, they not only accepted our bus for service, but let us park her there for a month until we were ready to move. She's in fine health, and the issues they did find were not unexpected and easily fixed. I'm more than satisfied with their work, and very grateful for their welcoming demeanor with someone whose experience with vehicle service mostly involves bringing his Prius into a Jiffy Lube. Were we staying in the Portland/Vancouver area we'd certainly call them our primary shop. Highly recommended.

Bought used but “good” transmission from these people. Well, after getting it back drained the oil out and it was full of metal and rear box of the transmission is all messed up. It’s nothing more than a core! Thanks for nothing you useless individuals

Charged me Sales Tax even though my Business is Exempt... and $580.00 Surcharge on my Visa without telling me about it since they gave the Total without explanation or breakdown. I did not get a copy of invoice emailed as promised so I couldn't see the specific charges... and took 2+ weeks to get it in person. Still no emailed receipt. I spoke with the Owner Shane Oas on Wednesday who said he was really busy and would follow-up by the end of the week... It is now Sunday and still no response or resolve. Highly disappointed in the handling of my bill. As if that wasn't bad enough the original quote was $4,000.00 ... It was updated by phone the bill would be closer to $5,000.00 which I agreed to. But when I was called and told it was finished and paid the bill by phone so I or one of the drivers could pick it up the bill was $7,849.51 .. ? I believe ??? Zero updates or warnings ⚠️ that the Invoice had gone up. Overall I am not pleased with the way things were handled. I asked for the Visa to be reimbursed for the correct amount and I would write a check for the invoice but it was refused. Very poor Communication and Customer Service ?

If we could give 0 stars we would. Made an appointment for 2/1/23 at noon, then are told they have no record of our appointment. Owner hung up on us multiple times, and made a very nasty comment to our Owner when speaking with her. He said "I wish your husband the best" and then hung up on us for the 4th time. We are very disappointed with how we were treated. We recommend NOT using On The Spot Truck Repair for any of your needs.

Our experience with this shop was great. The steering box of our truck was going bad and we needed to replace it. I reached to these guys on Thursday to let them know and they told me to go to the shop Friday first thing in the morning. On Friday we were there when they opened the shop and they truly kept their word. They took us right away and fixed the truck by noon. Honest guys and very reasonable prices. Thank you guys!

My driver had another dump truck blow off the mirrors on the side of his truck when they passed him. Having been in the logistic business for decades, we have dealt with many dealerships and truck shops and On The Spot is absolutely top notch. Joe was understanding and got us in and out of their shop in a professional and expeditious manner. Our truck is rolling again and it looks great and they charged us a very fair rate for their services. I wish we could clone them but whenever we need service in the area we now have a new service vendor that we can trust.

If you looking for some good semi mechanics this the place you wanna go to. I'm from Chicago and I delivered a load to WA and my turbo went out on me. These guys got me in the shop quick and made sure my turbo was replaced properly they really worked hard to get me back on the road. Check them out if you in the Vancouver, or Portland area!

Guys , if you want to pay for nothing , go to this “Shop”. I asked them to rebuild driveline on my Volvo because truck has vibration. They inspected it and sent to me the estimate for almost $6000 for replacing things what shouldn’t . I said: please , rebuild only Driveline. They said ok , but you will wait for that not less then 5 days . I said Ok , I would like to take the truck back because I can’t wait so long . They said : ok , your invoice is $538 just for the estimate and then you will get the key when the payment will be payed. I called and payed and they charged my $558 for nothing .

Great team. Very kind and professional. You will always be updated even if they had to install something minor. I was stuck in Portland with broken radiator. I had to get back home California. Freightliner dealer was gonna take 3 days to get to the issue...on other hand On the spot, repair was absolutely satisfactory. I really don't have words...God bless them. Bcs of them I will be able to get home on time to my little one who needed me on her side....

Great Shop!! Great Guys!! Very professional and helpful. Everyone I met was extremely friendly. Ordered the parts we needed, put my truck back together. I couldn’t be happier. I have finally found a shop in the Northwest. I wouldn’t hesitate to have them do anything.

In the past five years our whole fleet has been in and out of On The Spot Repair for anything from annual inspections to suspension, engine, and transmission problems. These guys got me in right away, tracked down parts, and had my truck fixed in a few hours. It's running perfectly now. Edit; visited again Oct 2021. Theses guys are solid. They got me in right away again and on the road a few hours later. I would drive 500 miles if possible to have On The Spot fix my trucks.

Meh.. I usually go with a different spot for my delivery truck repairs, but the guys over the phone were so nice I thought I would give them a shot. Hard to find a place with quality customer service. This reassured me it would be a good spot. While they are nice, and so far do OK work. They try to up sell you on certain things they think you need done etc. I'm not completely in the dark when it comes to mechanical stuff on cars, So I could smell the bs In the air. They'll definitely try to mark you up for the smallest of repairs. Nice people, but my bill was way too expensive for what was done. I suppose the positive was that I had my truck back within 5 business days. I am not sure if I would go back.
