We were not there for roadside assistance. We happened to run across them because they sell used cars. Right on the side of their business on LPGA Bl. They have cars parked for sale. They 2 We looked at had dead batteries. One, they could not get to start. These cars come their impound yard, so the history on them is minimal. Some looked like they had been there a good while because of the flat tires. So make sure you know what you're looking at before you dive into something and get stuck

The gentleman (wish I had gotten his name) arrived sooner than anticipated which was great not having to wait! He was friendly, professional and helpful. The price was fair and the whole experience was pleasant. I would recommend them for anyone who has the misfortune of their motorcycle not starting.

Here's a fun little story. My truck got towed today by Universal Towing in Holly Hill. This is hands down one of the most unethical, corrupt, and shady businesses I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. I was parked correctly, on private property, for less than an hour. Here is the reason I was given for why it was towed. "Your registration is expired". When I proved that my registration was in fact NOT expired and that I had the proper registration, insurance, and a valid license I was then told, "Well your sticker is expired". To which my response was that there is no Florida Statute requiring that *renewal stickers* have to be displayed on the issued plate. In fact, if you read the statutes that are listed with your registration renewal you will see very clearly that the only Florida Statute that is listed, in regards to registration and the sticker, is 320.0605 FS "...requires that the registration certificate, or true copy of a rental or lease agreement, issued for any motor vehicle to be in the possession of the operator or carried in the vehicle while the vehicle is being used or operated on roads in this state." Not to mention that the original statute, 320.08056(8)(a), clearly states, "with each license plate, a *validation sticker* shall be issued showing the owners birth month, license plate number, and the year of expiration...the *validation sticker* shall be placed on the upper right hand corner of the license plate" meaning that the only sticker that is required to be displayed is the original sticker that is issued TO VALIDATE the original registration of the plate. Not renewal. When I confronted Universal Towing with this information they said it didn't matter because they have a contract with the Apartment Complex. To which I responded that the apartment complex has a contract (lease) with its tenants that clearly outlines the parking guidelines and says that ANY vehicle that is parked on their lot with an invalid registration sticker will have a 24-hour notice to move or correct the violation. No such notice was issued because I was there for LESS THAN AN HOUR. Universal Towing still refused to return my legal private property without a $150 fee. The definition of extortion is, "the practice of obtaining something, ESPECIALLY MONEY, through force or threats" which is exactly what they did. They stole my property and then threatened to keep it if I didn't pay them money. When I recovered my vehicle (what choice did I have?!) I got in and my dashboard literally said, "THEFT ATTEMPTED"!!! I would say theft more than attempted, succeed. Not to mention when I got home I walked around my truck and wouldn't you know it, a nice big ol' dinger right in the passenger front wheel well. It took me two hours, cost me $150, and resulted in damage to my vehicle all because some CRIMINAL company wanted to squeeze me for some quick cash. This is an absolute OUTRAGE.

Last year when both of the floods came through Universal was “not allowed” to tow anyone that didn’t have a guest pass or parking sticker. I had called multiple times because I am a resident here and didn’t have places to park in the guest parking. This big storm comes through for these past two days and Yorktown estates gets flooded. There is also a “Road Closed” sign on our road into York town. We needed a little help last night because of all the water that accumulated everywhere, so we asked a friend to come over for about an hour. They walk back out and their car is gone. I call to see if their car is there this morning and due to the road being a little dry they are able to tow cars now? So what your company is telling me is that when people need some help you’ll screw them over, but when people are actually parked illegally for weeks at a place I pay for and pay HOA fees for you guys refuse to come tow someone? Worst company ever stop praying on people.

Gary is a great driver. Even during an experience where I hate to have my car towed he made it pleasant and I’m proud to say if I were to need a tow again I’d want him to get me home. 10/10

Sean provided excellent service. He arrived promptly and hooked up my rv efficiently and professionally. He even warned me of a red ant pile I was standing near.

He was professional, curtious and patient with dealing with the situation my vehicle was in easing my stress, safely and quickly securing the vehicle and getting me and it to its destination. Horrible experience! Kenny was extremely rude and after spending over 5k to have my car fixed, I would expect courtesy and professionalism. I asked him for information because I found out that he put a 2018 engine in my 2016 car and did not inform me and when I went to purchase an alternator I was unable to do so. No paperwork was provided. Terrible service. And when I went to ask him about it the next day he BLOCKED me. Are you a child or a professional? Do not recommend.

Lawful Evil towing company. They use the contracts they have with apartment complexes to take residents' cars for ransom. I heard from multiple people, including a police officer, that they were a shady business. Now I know for sure. My tag expired in Nov and I ordered a new one. First week of Dec my tag arrives and I go to put the new one on. My car had been towed the same day... A cop wouldn't even give me a ticket for that short expiration window. The company seems to respond to every one-star review which isn't a good look.

First time I had to call Universal to remove an unauthorized truck from a hotel parking lot. Waited about 20 minutes for the truck, but it was Friday night so I'm sure he was busy. Once the driver arrived, he was able to carefully pull the large truck out from a tight spot. Driver obviously knew what he was doing. Very satisfied

Gary did a great job. Arrived within the hour, and since I broke down near my home, he cheerfully picked up my car, dropped me off at the house so I could pick up another vehicle and follow him to the car dealership where the car would be fixed. He knows his job and the area very well, and was very kind. Great representative of the company.

Was broke down between a rock and a hard place. Gary with universal came to my aid. Thanks Gary. Showed up quick. Got me tied in quick. Even backed the wrecker up to my garage so the car could be unloaded straight in. The cards going in the glove box for if / when I need help again.

It is never a good time to break down, but ur employees at Universal towing, are the most courteous, the most helpful and the kindest people I have ever dealt with concerning a towing company. From the dispatcher that I spoke to on the phone to the driver, Gary, that came and got my car . They were there when they said they were going to be there, which was only a very short time, and the driver, Gary, was very kind and courteous.
