Lady That Answers The Phone Is Very Rude & Unprofessional Trash Business Would not Recommend Terrible Customer Service even 1 Star Is Too Much
8/2..My car is towed by Upmans from Sarasota Airport at 8:58 pm..I find out on 8/9 when I return from NY I parked illegally in a lot not designated.I was wrong.Paid the summons. However, when I went to retrieve my vehicle on the morning of 8/10 I paid 465 cash to get it back. After entering the car it was VERY apparent it had SEVERE damage to the undercarriage and the dash was lit up with sensor lighting that indicated there was a handful of issues (bent tie rod/steering angle sensor & more) $1564.00 in damage. Went back into their (office)/told the individual whom I had just paid that there was a BIG problem. He reluctantly came out for a minute to see. Proceeded to tell me to move my car because there was another flatbed coming in and told me if I had a problem to contact the owner. My insurance company has REPEATEDLY tried to communicate with them to no avail.Make NO mistake. I'm NOT letting this rest. If they choose to continue to ignore this I've got no issue with retaining counsel.
I can't express enough how grateful I am that Rich was my tow truck driver tonight. He was kind, polite, respectful, considerate, efficient, careful...the list goes on! He is an excellent representation of the company and the level of service was top notch! Upmans even arrived over an hour earlier than GEICO had estimated their arrival. Thank you Rich and Upmans for taking care of me and my vehicle when the unexpected happens!
