My truck lost air pressure in the center lane in Traffic at mile marker 221 I called the Henry County Sheriffs department to detour traffic to prevent any accidents …..Henry County Sheriff department called Wrecker 1 to remove the truck from travel lane to the shoulder which only took about 15mins!!!! I received a bill for $10,250.00 ????

Full on blowout pulling 17k 5th wheel trailer. Could not find anyone to help me out except excuses. Somehow found Wrecker 1 and they are the Ultimate one stop take care of you with a smile people! They had the equipment and knowledge to get me back on my travels. I went from worrysome to really feeling taken care of. They had no excuses just solutions and delivered in a professional manner. When I first called, the admin staff was giving such great advice that she almost solved my issue free of charge. What I'm saying is that they are more concerned about taking care of you that they will risk losing a paying job to help you out instead of just taking your money! Pure ethics here! I carry their number in my contacts now as my first call when I'm with my trailer. I'm a full time RV'er in the picture I'm the old guy on the left. Thanks to the Wrecker 1 staff!!

Charged 10k a few months ago.. 18k to move a truck to the shoulder few days ago !!! Really 18k to move a truck to the shoulder !! Do not use this company.. the cops have to be getting a cut off of this .. was asked not to move a truck and still did it and held the truck hostage!! Took them less than an hour .. GTFOOH , some type of scam or scheme they have going .. this business should be shut down for price gouging ! Robbing people that’s just trying to feed their families !

DO NOT USE is not an option for this p[lace. They pray on people in bad situations for their shady practices. They tow the truck 2 miles and send a $10, 000 bill. They are in a conspiracy with the local police dept to scam drivers.

Straight scam. Every review over 1 star is fake and from someone who works there…. Most likely working with police together to charge people high rates illegally. Wouldn’t let a driver use another tow company for $700 because they wanted to take the truck and charge $9,000 for 4 miles….

Charged my uncle $10k for 15 minutes of work. Truck lost pressure, was stuck in middle lane. To move the truck from middle lane was 10k & the truck only took 5 minutes to fix.

My perception of Wrecker 1 is that they have some sort of "racket" going on. They were called by the Henry Police without my consulting or agreement even though I was on the scene. They refused to tow the totaled car to my house 1.5 miles down the road and said their policy is to strictly tow to their yard 3.7 miles away. They wanted $654 the next day to release my car. Refused to give me a breakdown of the charges (how much to tow 3.7 miles? how much 1 night storage?). Barbara at first lied that they had to flip the car on its wheels before they could tow: I had pictures to prove otherwise. They got it on the tow truck in less than 10 minutes and I was there the whole time. My understanding is this shameless company gouges their coerced customers wrestled by the Henry Police Dept contracting them.

As I do most places I read reviews and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The lobby was clean. And the owner Stacey is willing to work with me. Will add further info in the future. Well, overall I would recommend this place. As I said before the owner is willing to work with you all she wants is her money just like any other business. If your vehicle gets impounded here, then you need to speak to Stacy and tell her your circumstance and she is willing to help you. Don't go in there with an attitude just be very nice and see if there's some way that you can maybe make payments.. the owner is a kind lady and is willing to work with anyone. I would recommend this place

We were heading to Michigan from Florida and totaled both our truck and RV. The whole staff was amazing. The offered to let us store stuff there if we couldn't take it all home. Helped us move stuff to storage and load the uhaul. They gave us trash bags to put our stuff in m. Not sure why the bad reviews, because we couldn't be happier with everything about this company. They went out of their way to help us and every person was so kind.

This place is the most unprofessional place I've ever experienced. I came to retrieve some personal effects for my mother from her car. I was told she had to sign a form giving me authorization to retrieve the items and that they close at 5pm. I'm given the form, I have my mother fill it out and come back the next day. I return the next day at 4:30pm, the gate is closed, so I call the office number. The person that answers basically asks me why I'm there, then a man comes out of the office, approaches the gate and tells me that they close at 4:30pm and they've seen their last customer. Of course, I explain that I was told they closed at 5pm. I know from working in customer service for many years not to become irate, or rude but to calmly explain that the information I was given just yesterday was completely different. After some back and forth, I'm allowed to enter and a different woman (Barbara, I think ), in the RUDEST fashion I've experienced, begins stating a process completely different than what her employees told me yesterday. I proceed to explain that a detailed explanation of their process was not given to me by her employee. Not to mention that employee was standing right beside her during this exchange. To add further insult, I watched as a customer that arrived after me was taken care of with politeness, professionalism and explained in great detail the next steps for his car. This place must have a friend in high places to have obtained a contract with the city/county for accidents. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. If you have a choice, DO NOT choose this place.

Needed a tow for my tractor trailer, they were quick to respond and took great care with removing anything that could be damaged while being towed. Their operator Roger was professional, polite and well experienced. The office was polite and courteous on the phone and called me to let me know when the truck was on its way, also because of the COVID 19 outbreak they provided a UBER for me. My only complaint is they were a little pricey, but you get what you pay for, their equipment was top notch and I'd rather pay a little more for great service than get a discount tow and a damaged truck.

Involved in a wreck just South of Atlanta these guys were quick to arrive really, quick to get my tractor trailer off the road, took care of the and a Anti freeze spill, were very kind to me, when I got back to their yard they went out of their way above and beyond to accommodate me and my company even put me up in a very nice hotel! I cannot speak better of anyone than these people very respectful, Very professional and I was glad that these guys came to my rescue! I am an owner operator Do not be afraid to call these people Wrecker one is number 1 in my mind!

Am amazed at the compassion, kindness, and professionalism of this company. My son was recently in a wreck, and Wrecker 1 was on duty for Henry County to tow his truck in. The truck was totaled, and my son was hospitalized... I had everything I needed and they allowed me to retrieve his personal belongings. The kindness thing was they allowed me to see pictures of the truck prior to actually taking me to it so I would not be too shocked with what I was going to see. He is blessed to be alive, and I am so thankful that the personnel at wrecker were so kind.

Worst, overpriced, unprofessional place I’ve ever had to deal with in my life. They wouldn’t let me go to my car, they wouldn’t give me time to read the documents I was presented with, they tried to charge me an outrageous fee for having my car for two days. The woman working behind the counter is rude and I’m pretty convinced the tall, bald, pro wrestler looking dude is racist. My family and I were treated like criminals the entire time we were there. If you have any say in where they/you take your car, DO NOT take it here, this place needs to hire a whole new staff or be shut down completely!!!.

Great experience all around despite the circumatances of why I needed them. The ladies in the office were awesome. Very helpful and were able to give a price quote right away. The tow driver was on time, hooked fast, and the truck and his equipment were super clean.
