They mounted the motorcycle, when i looked at my bike I noticed my fairing was broken and addressed him about it ,he said that it was already broken, It was 2am so I just wanted to get home safe. He wanted to charge me $230 dollars. I told him that piece that he broke cost $75 He then said he would charge me $200. I just wanted to get home so I agreed. But when I got home I seen both sides of fairings were broken, $70 dollars of damage parts.

This is one of those car shops where if you’re a woman, they’ll charge you more. I called and asked for the price of putting a patch on a tire, and they said it was $40!!! This was not my first time in need of that service so I know they shouldn’t charge more than $15. This is unbelievable.

Dark Angel towing was a lifesaver for my scooter. The guy who towed my scooter was being friendly and professional and I really appreciated it after such a hellish day. I wish I remember his name, but Dark Angel if you're reading this he was seriously the best (invoice 28314).

Rats got into my engine and ate my belt, I had Dark Angel tow my car to dealership they showed up fast on time and towed it really quickly. I highly recommend!

They do Mechanical work too, and they fixed the hell out of my car. It drives better now than before the accident. They were very helpful and did more than they had to. Recommended.

My 1500 Express Cargo van died on the side of 90/94 in the middle of the day on a Monday. I called Dark Angel and they promised that they would send over a tow truck. Several minutes later, Hector called me to let me know that he was on route to pick me and my vehicle up. When he arrived, he was very professional and friendly. Hector was quickly able to hook up and pick up my van and we headed back to the suburbs. When we arrived to our destination he was able to park my van in the back yard per my request, which can be a pretty tight spot as the driveway is a bit narrow, but the professional that Hector is, he did it with ease while being careful. Cannot recommend Hector enough. Would definitely not hesitate to give Dark Angel a call if I need towing services around Chicagoland area again, especially Hector. Thanks Hector!

I had a double blow out on the expressway after running over metal bracing from a truck. I called Dark Angel and spoke to a very polite dispatcher who said Alfonzo would be there with the flatbed I requested. They told me upfront the cost to tow my vehicle. Alfonzo arrived earlier than expected and was very personable and reassuring that as long as I was okay, the damage to my vehicle can always be repaired. Alfonzo’s truck was clean and provided a comfortable drive to my location. I would never hesitate to use Dark Angel towing. 5 stars for sure.

I am a believer in Dark Angel Towing! I had a flat going to an event that was a distance away from my house. It was late, so I decided to deal with it the next morning (Sunday). I reached out to multiple tow companies to only find out that the area I was located at wasn't in there service area or the wait time was extreme. Dark Angel Towing was prompt and 24 hrs. Adrian the service person who came out for me was courteous and a pleasure to work with! This is now my go to automobile service company

My granddaughters were stranded in the city late Friday/early Saturday and i was frantic; didn't know who to call. I hit the jackpot connecting to Dark Angel, they came to their aid quickly and professionally. The service was great and no pricing gouging. Very very nice people. May God bless and keep them one and all.

They broke my bumper and left my car in a tow zone. Refused to move it to legal parking, so I got towed again 2 hours later by the city. I gave very clear instructions to the operator and the driver about where to leave it, And they just didn't care. I got it all on video and sent it to the owner who also didn't care. One star is one too many for these crooks.

I asked someone if I could have my car picked up from a shop and delivered to my house. Yes, said the man. I told him my car needed to be out of the shop by 4 p.m. He said no problem, I gave him my information, and he said 180 cash or 190 card. Let's do it, I said. I called the company to find out when my car would be delivered. "I don't have anything scheduled for today," the lady on the other end said. I told her "That can't be because I spoke with your dispatcher and we made arrangements?" He appears to have only jotted down the addresses. And they're nothing we can do.... Well that mistake is going to cost me more money. I'll have to wait till Monday to get my car towed. Which means more storage fees, keeping my rental for another week, and having to reschedule my mechanic for the following weekend, if he's available. Don't use these people find someone better and more reliable, cause they're trash

This company has got to be the most unprofessional and negligent company in the world. My personal company contacted Dark Angel for a simple inner tire change and the technician totally destroyed not one but all the studs on the wheel preventing the job from being done forcing us into a tow situation, not only increasing the price but not acknowledgement of the damage they inflicted, they damaged fuel lines also so a simple 700 dollar job multiple by 5 it turned into over 5k. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone. The name Dark Angel sounds like a tattoo shop not a towing service never again!

I took my car in on Christmas Day because I had seriously worn tires and they were the only place open. There was only some middle aged guy with a kid probably not even 20. I noticed that the kid had issues with my driver side rear tire and when I drove off, I saw why. My tire sensor light came on the second I pulled out of their garage. I was told by the older man to drive it around and it will go away. The next day, I took it back (light still on) and a different person was there. He said all tires were overinflated so he evened them out and again said the light will go away after driving it. I decided to take it to my trusted mechanic and he confirmed the tire sensor was damaged by the kid that worked on that tire. I took it back to Dark Angel and they basically said there is nothing they can do. No refund or anything but to take it to their friend down the street. These people are scam artists. Under no circumstances, do not use Dark Angel towing even for something as simple as tire changing. They will rip you off. They didn’t realize I know about cars myself.

This is terrible overcharge and didn't tell me that my insurance did cover it the $322 for flat tire

When my car started emitting white clouds of smoke at Madison/Damen at 3pm a few days ago, I frantically searched for someone to tow me to my mechanic 6 miles away. After calling numerous tow companies (maybe 10?) I decided Dark Angel had the most honest dispatcher of the bunch. No lies on how the process works, cost, how long before a tow truck would arrive. Plus she had a reassuring voice that calmed me in a tense situation. The tow truck operator came on time as promised and was very nice & friendly. I will use Dark Angel any time I am in need again...tho hopefully not! I have already passed on their name/number to a few people & mechanic for future reference. Thank you Dark Angel!

I caught a flat in the middle of a snow storm. They knew that I was in distress, so they took advantage of me and charged me $80 for a USED tire. Also they didn’t even put the tire on my car. When I confronted the worker and tried to negotiate a better bargain, he began taking the tire off. The condition of the garage is unclean and unorganized. They had someone to watch me get money out of the ATM. Overall the customer service was displeasing. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

I have to agree with most of the reviews here that speak about this place and it’s lack luster customer service. I have visited them thrice, and three strikes they’re OUT! I drive for a living, so needless to say, I frequently have to repair and replace my tires. That being said, the first time that I visited them was one evening at around 9 pm, at that time I had a tire repaired. The second time that I did business with them, it was approximately 2 am and again I needed my tire repaired. I was told that a patch would be $15 while a plug would be $25 ???. I opted for the patch work. Of course I understand that they have after hours prices but $25???? I naturally gave off a response of disappointment but had little time to sulk as I was advised that the man who does the work was about to go home so if I wanted it I had to make a choice right then and there (which is odd because if he leaves, then technically you wouldn’t have ANYONE there to provide this “24 hour service “ right? Moving along). I then asked, well how much to put on my donut....I was advised $15. WOW!!! LAST VISIT was this morning at 4 am. I have a slow leak and wanted to hurry up and get my tire fixed so that I could continue working...THIS TIME (before even diagnosing the tires damage) I was automatically told that it would be $25. I didn’t say anything. I politely started my engine and pulled smooth out! The BIG moral of the story is; I PEEP YOUR GAME, ? nice try. WRONG PLAYER THOUGH
