Burda's Towing Operators have been trained in all aspects of towing and recovery. Many employees have completed extensive Wreckmaster Training seminars and comprehensive hands-on training. THIS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE!!! They told me they would air up my rear tire, which probably went flat after they towed it, and the battery was down to 0V. He jumped it with a quick charger, and it would not stay running, even though my alternator was indeed charging. I tried to explain to him that it needs at least 10V to run the ECU's required to keep the vehicle running. He kept telling me, "You have another problem!! I am a mechanic!!!" All I needed was a jump from another car for about 5 mins, and it would've be fine. I had it towed from there, to my home. I did exactly that. I jumped it from my friend's car, and left the cables on for 5 mins, and it stayed running!!! I also aired up the tire, and it hasn't lost any air yet. The truck has been starting and running flawlessly, since I did that. I am disputing their charges with Wells Fargo, because that is just HORRIBLE service, and absolutely no respect!!! The man was flat out refusing to help me!!! And they closed at 4:30pm, so I had almost no time to get it towed out of there by another service. This man even had another battery sitting there on a shelf, just like mine. I begged him to sell me the battery, and he said, "Do you have your own tools? My mechanics don't loan out tools." I needed a 10mm and a 12mm. That's all. Could've done it in less than 5 mins, but he wouldn't even sell me the battery anyway. UNBELIEVABLE!!! NEGATIVE STARS!!!!

I had Burdas transport a vehicle I purchased today. Tanner arrived on time as scheduled. Tanner did excellent job communicating how he’d be securing the vehicle, and I could tell he treated it like it was his own. So happy we chose to use Burdas, and happy with the job Tanner did.

So far, a terrible experience with them. I got in a horrible accident this last Friday where I was taken to the hospital. My sister called them to see where my car was and they said it would be $900 to get it out. And $50 a day until I do. I left my wallet and prescriptions in the car. They said they are closed all weekend. I asked for my prescriptions and they said I need an id and I can only get the prescriptions and nothing else. Including my id that's in my wallet in my car to be able to get my prescriptions. Acted like it was an absolute huge inconvenience to them and told me I had a half hour to get there. I can't even walk and have to call for a ride and live more than a half hour away. Why kick a dog when they are down and make everything impossible.

My wife staled on 101with her 77 Nova in middle of Friday evening rush hour. The tow truck arrived in less than 30 minutes and we were off the road without issues. The driver, Tanner, was very respectful of the car, friendly to talk with and did a great job getting car into the garage! Will definitely call Burda next time I need a tow. Thanks Tanner!

My son's car was totaled and had to drop off key. I needed to get my garage door opener out of car but they wouldn't let me because I didn't have the title. Ridiculous rules and terrible service. I argued with the guy at the front desk. They wouldn't even open it after wife called. They wouldn't even take a photo copy. Had to drive all the way home and get title just to get the opener out. We were never told by anyone we had to have the title. Guy at front desk gave lame story about how they were sued once because they let someone's ex into a car. A situation that didn't apply to me at all. Would never use this company again.

They are Great professional people. They’re on time and really good with lowered car. They treat me and my car with the best quality of customer care. I’ve shop around and They have a fairest price around too. I Will definitely use them again.

I was stranded on the side of I-94... and was able to connect with Burda's. Patti from dispatch was the kindest, most patient, and calming person - she was wonderful. Patti helped me trouble shoot solutions and provided advice. The tow truck operator was also kind and personable. I cannot recommend Burda's (and the dispatchers from Collin's) more!. Kindness matters and they are the kindest.

I've had to use them (unfortunately) a couple times in the last few months... The first time the cabin road was icy and we got just off the road and needed a quick pullout. The driver was prompt, professional, and efficient. The second time was just last Thursday when a drunk driver hit one of our work trucks and put it in the ditch. That one required a larger truck with a crane to retrieve and it was amazing to watch the guy work. Prompt, professional service once again!

The State Patrol called them at 0530 in the morning and the driver was their promptly, was polite and efficient. The car was handled rough, the passenger window was left down and it was dark and cold so I couldn't see inside it well to make sure I got everything. I left an expensive device plugged into the OSB port and called the next day to see if they could pull it out before the insurance company came to get it and was told they cannot enter the car even with my permission. I was injured in the accident and live a long way away and could not get there right away. I drive by there on the way to and from work so was hoping they could just hold the device for me. May be that all towing are this way and I don't have experience so writing this to say thier customer service is lacking.

Naturally I was extremely upset that when my car broke down and towed from the side of the highway, 40 miles from home. After locating my vehicle and calling Burdas, I was extremely upset and admittedly rude. When I arrived I immediately felt horrible for my interaction with Diane ( sweetest lady ever) over the phone. They worked with me, offered me advice on how to get reimbursed, explained why things happened and even checked on me later in the evening and wished me best of luck. It turned a horrible situation into one not Soo bad. I actually left there with a smile on my face, thank u!

DISHONEST. Charged for an "off-road winch" that never happened. Showed them a video of the entire event showing no winch was ever done, but they still charged me. Also, I asked them what their fees were for the specific items for my car, and they refused to tell me. Then, when I went to pick up the car, I arrived 10 minutes late (4:40pm instead of 4:30pm, due to a snafu at U-Haul that set me back a half hour), and they wouldn't help me; I had to return the next day to get my car (I also noticed that they wrote down that I arrived at 4:45pm, but I was in the door at 4:40pm). I asked over the phone to talk to the manager several times over several days and was finally connected after the 3rd call. The manager said he was willing to look at the video, so I arrived at 8am, the time they told me to be there to be able to talk to the manager, but the manager was not available. The person who did view the video didn't take the time to view the parts they needed to see for proof, then refused to watch those parts of it and continued to charge me for the service that was never provided. Maybe they treat some people well, but they treated me like garbage. I wouldn't recommend dealing with these people if you don't have to.

Jade was fantastic on dispatch. I called to have my mother's car towed out of a construction zone on 94 East on a Saturday Night. Her customer service was wonderful. She gave concise direction with a positive attitude. She even called me back to ensure I knew that the driver was with my mother and everything was under control. Amazing customer service. Thank you Jade! The driver's name was Nick and he was wonderful. He towed the car and took to older ladies in the cab of his truck. He not only took care of a vehicle in a construction zone but made to maidens feel safe and cared for. Once we met him in a parking lot he was pleasant and extremely helpful . Great service from start to finish. I couldn't be more pleased.

We had a major breakdown while traveling through the area, from out of state. The auto repair side of Burda's gave us a quick overview and assessment. They were very thorough. Had they not done the extra checks, that I believe most places would not have, we would have broken down again on the highway and created the same damage all over again. They gave us an accurate estimate and updates along the way. They were very kind and professional. We also appreciate their continued support of law enforcement agencies. Thank you! Scummy company. Never provided the service they were contacted through AAA for and charged me $200. When confronted about it, was basically threatened and told I could speak to their attorney. That's really how you earn a reputation.

This place by policy makes it as inconvenient as possible to pay your bill. Next time I'll just stay at work and pay the collections people their fee for the convenience of providing a card over the phone. It's the 21st century, get with the times.
