Highly recommend!!! A truck service facility like these folks is a rare gem these days. Was grounded with an air leak that prevented my tanks from filling. Needed a tow and repair. After a half dozen calls and the typical repair shop roadblocks, I was recommended to HDM. My day suddenly got a whole heck of a lot brighter. Linda handled my front desk call. She listened and didn't shut me down. She opened doors and provided solutions to get me towed and into the shop. Keegan, the young lad who handles his wrecker like a pro made a 40 minute drive feel like 5. Jim, the mechanic, jumped right on the issue and had it figured out in no time. Carleton, the shop boss, was friendly enough and really enjoyed the extra attention I gave him. The facility is conveniently located near a truck stop and a hotel just steps away. Don't expect much from the hotel, but if you need an overnight it's good for a shower and a bed. Real folks that actually care about helping to keep us drivers rolling and safe. Hats off to all you superstars at HDM.

In the 4 years in this trucking business, I've never had a awesome efficient, and quality driven mechanic like Mike. He was the best and I will definitely use their services again if ever needed hands down.

I don't like giving 5 stars based off one visit but they literally made a bad day, ok. Most truck stops have lines of trucks to get to, same as this one but they took the time to help me make an appt I was running late to. ?. While there also I saw them help an elderly lady who caught a flat even though they dont repair cars. That speaks highly on character to me which most businesses overlook , the opportunity to help others when they dont have to. Thank you for your services ill be sure to stop by for repairs any chance i get when in the area.

America is great because of folks like these! A few weeks ago, I was pulling an oversize/overweight load that required me to pull flip my axle down on my trailer. Due to a lack of use and a slow leak, one of the tires had come off the bead and needed to be reseated in order to inflate it to the proper pressure. I called many tire shops and repair centers, just to be told “we don’t do tires”, “4-6 hour wait”, or my favorite: “that tire must be bad, you’re gonna have to buy a new one”. By sheer luck, I was recommended these fine folks at HDM and after a few calls with the very nice lady at the front desk, she told me to come on down and skip the line, if all I needed was a simple bead reseating. I pulled up to the shop, was greeted by the main tech and was on my way in less than 10 minutes instead of 4-6 hours. The best part? They didn’t even want my money, but instead told me to have a safe trip and have a good day. It’s been almost a month and that “bad” tire is still holding the same air pressure.

I was stuck at the Pine Cone Travel Center in Johnson Creek with a bad starter which had been replaced by another company a month prior. All I needed was someone to come out, air me up, and give me tug. Was recommended to HDM. I was blocking one of the diesel pumps. The nice lady said someone would be here in 30 minutes. I think Mike got here in 13 minutes! He got me all hooked and aired up, but thought he could jump the solenoid, and it worked. The problem was that it wasn't engaging the flywheel. He didn't have to do that, but I thank him for doing it, because it proved that the previous company either installed a defective starter, or didn't hook it up correctly. Mike, you are awesome! Penske rental 26ft truck broke down with red engine light and beeping message to stop truck immediately. Limped into Edgerton, WI travel.plaza. HDM called out by Penske arrived in about 70 minutes. Young man hooked up.laptop and did a " regen" on the diesel. His laptop died with no way to recharge. Stated the regen was complete and said I should be good to go. (I had spent over 4 hours at the plaza.) Got a mile down the interstate and same thing, red engine light and Beeping with warning to stop. Drove back to plaza , called HDM, they said they couldn't do anything more. Many calls later, penske said I could drive it to Windsor WI to service garage. (Beeping all the way at 25-50 mph on the interstate heavy trafffic thru Madison) HDM did not tell me I could drive any distance. 5+ hours later Penske found a bad sensor. I had asked HDM about 7 hours earlier if it could be sensor , stated No, diagnostic on laptop would tell him that. BTW, all happened in a 100 year rain fall.?‍?

A previous tech from another company had supposedly repaired my red airline and they did a nasty job that lasted only a week. Than a true professional from HDM came out and got me going high and tight , very good work. Thanks you.

One of the best shops I've ever dealt with! Jim always makes you a priority wether your a small company or large. They do great work at a fair price.

Was amazed by this truck repair shop. Had a wrecker to me within a half hour after I called. As soon as we made it back to the shop several guys started working on my truck right away. They tried everything to get me a new spindle and hub that day but had no luck. Once the parts came in they got right back to putting my truck together and out the door couple hours later. Everyone was really nice to talk with and deal with. The tow driver knew exactly what he was doing. The shop manager and mechanics all very knowledgeable about working on trucks. Office staff was friendly and polite as can be. Prices are really reasonable, and was the cheapest tow I ever had.

The owner of this business is a kind and wonderful man. We needed some bolts on thanksgiving day after house fire for our camper and he met us at shop to sell us the bolts. I am truly greatful for him as is our entire family. Lake Mills is blessed to have his business and him as a part of the community. Highly recommend this Business!

Had a truck with a fuel leak, they got him in right away, changed his return fuel line and had him back on the road within 2 hours. Great people to work with and reasonably priced.
