Ray, we are very sorry you are not happy with your interaction with the company, and if you wish you may contact me personally so we can resolve any outstanding issues. Although I am confused as out records show you rented a 2017 reefer trailer so hopefully you have the right organization.
This turned into a terrible experience, I rented a stepdeck to haul hay, This trailer was to have been put through the shop and checked over, the tires were dry rotted, several of them blew out, We had to call a tire service some 60 miles away to fix it because there service plan wouldn't authorize the tire shop 5 miles away. Then I decided to switch to a reefer giving them the benefit of doubt that they just overlooked the maintenance on the stepdeck, The reefer has had several issues, ABS sensors, screen went out and couldn't see or set the reefer temp on a load of ice cream, They do have service locations across the USA but alot of this stuff was poor general maintenance from the start. Then after the headaches of poor maintenance we did fall a month and a half behind on our lease but I fully communicated to Rhonda about the situation. Explained that we were expecting settlements this week etc. The same day I received a settlement, sold some livestock to be sure I could get current with UTL, Mike Walker decided that was the day using there GPS for location, to come get there trailer, So there are some businesses that are understanding about the trucking industry and realize that Covid has made it rough for ends to meet, This company needs to physically and financially experience Covid like I have and maybe they'd be a little more understanding that things are not perfect in our world at this juncture. This was my experience with UTL, I've owned a truck and rented trailers since 2009 we have never had an experience like this. There are lots of places to rent trailers I don't recommend this place.
