Shower #2 @ Hope Hull AL (store 718): the room was very cold and the shower water only got to Luke-warm. Love’s as a truck stop chain normally has scald-your-skin-off hot water available. At 2am this is what I expected to start my day with. It is why I use Love’s. The shower room was very clean and otherwise well maintained.
This Loves has what one goes to Loves for but isn’t particularly RV friendly. There isn’t an RV gas fuel lane and maneuvering through the existing lanes can be tight.
As travel plazas go, Love's is generally ok. But the employees need a lesson in customer service. The restrooms were the worst I have ever seen them there. Needs a lot of attention to get this store where it needs to be.
I would offer that this Loves is good. I have stopped here a few times while on I-65. Typical Loves experience. Staff are friendly and food/drinks are the same as most Loves. This location seems to be a bit smaller footprint, but still was able to get fuel and snacks without a wait.
The good-They have decade coffee. The bad- cannot get it because they need to clean the machine staff was rude about it because I didn't get coffee after pulling it a cup. The ugly- wanted to sign up for rewards I could not because they said they don't have the cards for me to sign up. Overall- the worst customer service ever rude staff who didn't seem interested in helping me one bit. Don't go here if you can avoid it. Pay the extra and go to Shell across the street.
5 showers need to be cleaned 4 people waiting, and they are texting on their phones ?, after I took the picture they logged out of the shower screen so nobody could see it…
Stopped by on our way up I65, they were very busy but the employees had it together! Went to get Subway and the staff was friendly and fast, it was clean and good!! The cashier in the store was handling both registers to get customers out quickly and doing a great job. Another employee saw that we were trying to get coke zero from the fountain and it was out and said if we could hold on just a minute, she would run and change it. Great job to all the staff, definitely will stop here in the future!
Godfather Pizza is not set up for social distance. Plus they allowed customers to pick over the self serve pizzas and then put them back in the case. The staff just stood there looking. I ordered cheese sticks but they didn't hardly have any cheese on them. When traveling we always stop there to get pizza. Poor service means no business from me.
Decent loves very busy. Really need to post signs for the RV parking for only RV Parking. I got a video of I know 6 cars NOT RVs taking up these spots. Really frustrating when these people take spots for other who need them. Can you post for ONLY RVs!?!?
Very clean and safe place for a quick stop or a rest break. I love the rewards program. The point come in handy!
Amazing and wonderful place, I only give it one star cause I seen an employee who didn’t have a name tag, wearing a polo navy silk jacket bald head, coming out of a women restroom , Didn’t have a sign that says out of order. It was around 7:44 to 7:45 pm.
Worst ever roadside service I had was charged $1134 and the techs air compressor wasn't working properly, he didn't have a torque wrench on his truck, so I had to drive to there shop the next morning and the gentleman there said it was a good thing I came in cause everyone of my lugs was loose. The tech went 45 miles past me had to turn around and come back and my bill said he was there for 3 hours. THIS IS REALLY HIGHWAY ROBBERY
Store was incredibly busy. Spent $30 on lunch for two. Godfathers pizza was hot and fresh. Chester's chicken was hot but undercooked. As busy as this store is, there is no reason for the tea to be sour unless they do not clean the urns. I really wanted to be able to drink the tea I purchased!
Very long walk from the trucking parking area to the actual store. If you buy food, it will be cold by the time you reach your truck. If you buy ice, it will turned into water by the time you reach your truck. Like wow. That's far...
Sign up for their membership. You will get discounts on every gallon of gas. Their prices are always very competitive.
I love Loves Truck Stops normally. Im a truck driver. This is the only major Truck stop I've been to that doesn't offer free internet INSIDE!! REALLY!!!!! I won't be back.
Fuel aisle is congested. Large backside parking lot. Employees inside are more worried about talking than helping. Food on roller grill have been there since breakfast. We stoped in at 15:16..
This place is beautiful summer and winter. Good parking east of Dam two smaller stops west side.
