Starting with one location in 1958 to becoming the largest travel center network in North America, we’ve never lost sight of what’s important – taking care of our guests! At Pilot Flying J, we believe it's essential to give back to our communities that have given so much to us. We are committed to supporting local, regional and industry non-profit and charitable organizations. From the beginning, our founder instilled a spirit of community and philanthropy into our company. It is our privilege to give back by supporting causes that are important to our business and communities we serve. We encourage our team members to be active in their communities, whether that is volunteering or being there to serve first responders after a natural disaster.

Friendly cashier , great gas prices. There's Wendy's inside here also. Wonderful services available for Truckers and anyone else needing shower or gas. They also had subway sandwiches in there as well. My favorite place to ? stop for gas in North Alabama
First great thing.. this place is clean! Thank you! I got a safe place to park.. thank you! then.. I met Jeff and several other employees who treated me like family. I really felt at home.. like a special guest here. Thank you! The cashier was so friendly.. she recommending great bbq nearby… later she ask me how my lunch was and if I liked it.. ask me what I had.. ?? she came by to say good bye and say it was nice to meet me at the end of her shift.. she was so sweet.. the other cashier took time to help me get change for laundry.. thanks to Jeff.. I got an exceptionally clean nice shower.. just the way I like it with extra towels.. nice towel and wash cloth too.. he thanked me for what I do as a truck driver. I did my laundry & they kept offering me a chair to sit down.. it was unreal really unusual and very nice.. employees talked and shared truck stories.. helped me pass the time.. This is one of the best Pilots in the USA.. it’s the people.. it’s the pride they take in keeping this place nice.. it’s their friendliness.. their kindness in doing the extra things.. the little things & the big things.. I genuinely like it here.. so glad I decided to stop here. I am looking forward to coming back here again. Wow! Exceptional!
The store is very clean and well maintained and stocked. The store staff is very professional and friendly. Showers are clean with lots of hot water and great water pressure. They have the usual PFJ fare along with a Wendy's for food selections. They have a good coffee selection along with my personal favorite the Bean to cup Brew. The truck parking lot is not bad I have seen a lot worse.
Pilot I apologize for the bad review. But let's bet honest. This may be good for people commuting or other day by day people. But for a truck driver this place is a nightmare. It's always backed up, jammed to the nines. Truckers you'll never find substantial parking here and even if you do; I hope you have good insurance. The parking lot for trucks is horrible and again it's always full. Even at 10 am. I advise drivers looking for parking to go down a few more miles to Love's. This is a very poor location.
I am a truck driver. While I was here, my trucks' driver side windows were broken by somebody else, and my vallet was taken. Also, other drivers' trucks' motor parts were stolen at the same time. Please be careful. This place is not safe to stay for the truck drivers. I hope my this message gonna reach other drivers. I will also post this comment on the other truck driver pages as well.
Water pressure in shower 1 was decent, but since it was a handicap shower, there was no lip to keep the water in the shower. Poor design didn't allow the water to move towards the drain, but rather out to the rest of the room. Rooms are not cleaned very well, but it still took almost 1.5 hours to get in with only 3 people in front of me. After exciting the shower, I felt water dripping on me from the ceiling. Even though my shower was mostly cool, (by choice, water temperature was more than adequate, but it was hot and humid all day) water was accumulating on the ceiling. Showers need better ventilation to stop this. The sink has no drain plug or screen, so beware of setting small items next to the sink. The slope of the sink seems designed to funnel anything right down the drain.
Why Pilot? Why can yall not get your pumps fixed and working properly? This is absolutely ridiculous! I hate this is the only place my company allows us to fuel at. 7 lanes. Only 2 open!
This place is the worst trick stop I have been to in my entire 10 years driving, as far as black mold in the showers. In less than 10 minutes I have sinus congestion and a headache. I feel really bad for the people who have to clean these everyday. Black mold is really bad for you and the owner here or at the least PFJ should shut theses showers down and redo them..
Horrible idea for a floor towel. Hope pilot doesn’t go to these wax paper towels. But other than that it was good.
A woman driver needed a place to stay..the ladies on 3rd shift took care of me..thanks to mgr Mechelle and her side kick that was operating w/her-last night Monday Aug 23..thx ladies for looking out..great Southern hospitality..ya don’t get that from Indianapolis In..the hospitality there SUCKS…it’s like everyone there is in competition w/one another…for what? Smdh! Keep that hospitality LIVE!!
No seating area for truckers other than a Wendy's that has extremely hard seats and closes at 10:00 p.m. a terrible place to be stuck for any length of time as a trucker, will never be coming here again especially if I have to do a 35-hour reset
Very good
This is a great pilot hot showers, friendly staff, nice choices of fast food and plenty of parking
Seems more like a medium Flying J parking lot.Lots of bobtail trucks taking up spots.Big electrical tower in the middle of parking lot as well.Restrooms were clean. It seem like more reserve spots than anything.Cashier female was very professional and kind.
Just looking around the part of the store for Pilot Travel Center including dining for Subway to have a #6 The Boss Footlong Sub with Original Baked Chips & Drink & for Wendy's: I tried the Small Pumpkin Spice Frosty Milkshake & it was all good & pretty convenient location in Decatur/Priceville, AL location near Interstate 65.
