there are no people, the showers are empty but they don’t let me in, I’ve been waiting for 45 minutes already, the worst employees are the pilot I’ve ever seen
Not the nicest store, and I dont really like they way they laid it out. But its decent enough and it is a pretty area.
This is the truck entrance. It is not safe to drive our trucks into this lot. The craters are unavoidable going in. I won't be wasting my time or risking my equipment at this location again. Be aware that these can be damaging, especially if they are full of snow or water and you drive over them not realizing they are there.
Worse pilot ever all employees are very rude. Just pulled into the lot, and a blonde haired manager came out saying we had to leave we had been here too long, yet we hadn't even had a chance to get out of the car. I will never come back and I recommend no one else does either. The people at the truck stop in Williams are way better go there instead
$18 bucks for a shower. Water wasn't even hot. Got a couple random seconds of hot water, most the shower was luke warm. At the end I had to finish with cold water. I love my showers, this was a waste of money. Don't suggest buying a shower here.
I couldn't get my ID out of my wallet when I was checking out, and the guy with long hair and a yellow star septum ring helped me get it out. He was so nice too!!! Great customer service!
One woman working the front appears to be hooked on Meth complete with facial sores, unkept, Constricted pupils familiar to me in law enforcement. The 70+ year old lady in McDonald's is far too talkative and fouls up customer orders. No potable free water is available here. You can buy it per gallon. To their credit-clean showers $12 & restrooms + well stocked. Drug screening appears to be "Try this man". Scenic views from the parking lot. No Pilot rewards for any amount of gasoline purchases. One nice feature are separate gasoline pumps for RVs away from auto pumps. Other than employee issues from local hires they are trying. Gasoline prices very competitive and less than anyone within 14 miles East or West on I-40 exit 185. Photos are of Navajo Army Depot & Forest Fire visible from their parking lot.
Pilot is one of my trusted places to stop to use the restroom, get gas, and/or eat while I'm on the road. The restrooms are usually clean, and there is usually decent food attached or available within the center itself. I just recently stopped by this location on my way back to Vegas from Sedona.. and I stopped here on my way to Sedona. It was nice inside. The McDonald's was a quick cheap option to get me back on the road again without a long delay.... though the artisan breaded chicken sandwich I had there was one of the worst ones I've ever had. The place is easily spotted from the highway as well.
Worst place to purchase fuel. Team has no control of their place. Manager lady uses insulting and rude behavior as a tool to control her team and the customers in my visit inside the store manager used derogatory language towards 2 customers and one team member. Horrible Horrible place to spend time. I feel sorry for her staff
I booked a shower for which i waited an hour before walking in to find out all showers were open just not clean. Overheard an employee telling manager and a cashier that all bathrooms need to be cleaned and she told him and I quote. Showers are not dirty, they’re occupied. With myself and 5 more people frustrated waiting to shower. Very unprofessional and we almost asked for cleaning supplies so that we can clean them ourselves so that we can shower.
This is the perfect place to stop between Gallup and Kingman, especially in the wee hours of the morning. This is an easy on, easy off Pilot. It has a decent amount of fuel lanes that have been pretty clean and stocked each time we've rolled through. The truck parking area is small but is well lit. The store front is updated and offers lots of options to quell your hunger. There's even a McDonald's and a Subway. The washrooms have been maintained every time, though they could use some TLC with the cleaning. This particular Pilot is not too accommodating for walking your dog as there is very little... basically no green space...just a small patch of dirt at the other end of the truck fuel island.
Everything you'd want - lots of pumps, a Subway and McDonald's, good bathrooms, and plenty of drinks and snacks. It was filled to the brim with cars and people when we where there, more, as it took more time to wait, find a spot, park, and walk in than it did to buy stuff ...
I've been here I think three times in the last two weeks, and every time I'm here the women's restroom floor and stalls smell like urine. There always seems to be trash/recycling on the floor on the way to the restrooms as well. Good food choices, between Subway, McDonald's (including drive through), and hot and cold bars. The McDonald's is newly renovated and very nice. The parking lot always seems a bit cramped, so pulling long loads or trailers through can be a bit challenging.
Very nice clean well-managed store. Excellent helpful manager, she is very good. Thank you. James
No hot food its like they forced you to buy from Subway or McDonald's, heavens forbid if u need gas because their wasn't any an the customer service sucked big. Avoid this pilot at all cost if possible,I hardly ever give bad feedback. That's just how bad this place was??.
