We had lunch here and it was good. We enjoyed the chicken strips, fries, tea, and beers. The service was good and nice atmosphere. They have a variety of food to order. I definitely recommend stopping in to eat if you want a quick bite to eat. Also, we enjoyed playing the pinball machines too. They also have tv screens playing various things. Such a nice spot to unwind in.
The New Place looks nice, but the food quality has gone downhill from what use to be offered. $16 for breakfast meals is kinda out there for what you get. But you can use your diner reciept toward the $50 minimum you have to spend for 1 day, free parking. Just make sure you collect all ur reciepts and bring them with your parking ticket to the Fuel Desk for a stamp and gate pass.
I came on Super Bowl night. I was very grateful they were showing the game. Service was outstanding. They also gave away free pizza and salad last night. The customers were also nice. I had a ball! My only cons are they don’t make mixed drinks with alcohol like Long Islands, rum and coke etc. Their drinks are canned or bottled like corona and Mike hard that they’ll put in a glass for you. I also ordered the fish and chip special, but the fish was awful. It tasted like Gordon Fisherman fish sticks with no seasoning at all. Disgusting?
I'll tell you the food was so good that I forgot the lady's name who gave it to me, I think it was Shannon or Sharon. Not sure but it was delicious. Delicious! Got to try the tri-tip oh my god.
Dirty spoon attached to a gas station. Simple meals, good staff. Plenty of food for the price and service was very fast. Hashbrown were cooked very well, egg were spot on. Not a bad place to grab a quick and traditional Cafe style breakfast. Nothing high end but for a quick breakfast this is a place to consider.
Nice downhome no fuss laid back diner, easy convenient and the trip too sandwich is so yummy! Never feel rushed or unconvinced coming here. Flat screen TV's are consistently on sports or the news so u don't miss a beat! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxed environment with a down home feel:) Parking: No problems with parking... Plenty of room!
This place is the best around. I eat here 3-4 times a week All the girls there are so nice always... the manager is amazing. Always clean. The graveyard cook is the best by far I believe his name is Pedro. 10 stars
The food was par but the service was great. Very friendly staff.
Hugeee tasty breakfast. Nice people. Order cafeteria style but they bring your food to your table. Had the chicken fried steak, it’s good. Desert case looked amazing but did not try anything from there.
I love this place and today Bridget took care of me with my perfect bacon cheeseburger and fries. Cooked to perfection and I totally enjoyed it. I come here often and they never disappoint. I love this place and Bridget always treat me and my guests the way we want to be treated
What an enjoyable experience. Bridgette greeted us and we became friends during our visit. We will be back. She is a pillar of hospitality, 49’r is blessed to have her! Food was delicious and to order, staff were happy and knowledgeable. We’ll be back.
Restaurant under new management, absolutely love the customer service, exceptional, polite and professional attitudes by each of the ladies, delicious food, smoked ribs and tri-tip with two dollar cheaper prices than black bear and hot off the griddle!!!!!! Absolutely delicious desserts they have a raspberry lemon cheesecake sometimes that melts in your mouth!!! Delicious! Friendly! Great place for pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream at night time!! Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian options they have a veggie omelette for breakfast they have veggie pizza you can get a veggie burrito or a veggie bowl! Amazing Salads!! Dietary restrictions: Extremely accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions, they can make things with no meat no cheese no pork very helpful if I wanted an egg white only omelette I am able to order it here Parking: Very large parking lot with numerous parking spaces available Kid-friendliness: Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes-a Set of Crayons , a work sheet and a kids coloring page offered! High chairs and even the Disney channel offered!!!! Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair accessible door right next to the restaurant rotating doors, there is plenty of room at any table or booth for a wheelchair.
Although I do not approve of that particular truckstop, that restaurant was excellent, food was cooked very well and the waitress and servers were all nice people, and very attentive! Other than that I wouldn’t give you $.50 for that truckstop
This place really needs to do something. I was over here shut down for a 10. My wife and daughter came to see me and have dinner. First an order for 2 adults and 1 child should not cost $54.00. That was keeping things on the cheap side. We'll 45 minutes. Yes almost an hour after we ordered our food arrived. I ordered the taco salad with no salsa. That's right you guessed it. After 45 minutes of waiting and the other 2 experiences I've had here (everyone gets another chance right) I'm just asking for a refund. The manager come up and she gets right on refunding me for my meal. She offers to remake it and I told her that in the 5 minutes we were there I notice. 1. Cook with long hair and no hair net/hat 2. He was back there chewing gum (food service workers know) 3. I had watched him remove his Bluetooth and scratch his ear and not wash his hands before handeling more food. There is no way in hell I will eat anything from there again. Found out there is a black bear and burger King across the street I didnt see coming in. Save yoyr money go there and get a hell of a lot better food. I dont know what they were thinking with this place but its not about the customers or food safety.
My wife and I decided to try out the 49er Diner for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. The ordering process was simple: we chose from the menu, paid at the counter, and were seated by the friendly staff. The two ladies working that day were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. I ordered the Pancake breakfast while my wife went for the Long haul burrito. Both dishes were delicious, and we enjoyed our beverages - I had hot tea while my wife had hot coffee. If you end up with leftovers, you can even ask for to-go boxes. What really made the 49er Diner stand out was the atmosphere. The place had a great vibe, with truckers coming and going, giving the diner an authentic feel. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. We would definitely recommend the 49er Diner to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot! Parking: There's handicap parking spots right in front of the diner. Wheelchair accessibility: There's signs in front of the diner directing you where to enter if you're in a wheelchair. Very convenient and accessible.
