All security guys in this place are AWESOME, every time I hit this place they clear, respecful and super mercyful. However I can't say the same on the women staff, they act like they own the oxigen in the World, they do not have manners. The restrooms are dirty, stinky and the toilets are ?? Las time the store was dusty and the "ladies" were talking and talking, so I felt I was like interrupting something important, The pumps are good, the space is cramped, but decent. The Prices have had chaged, 14hours $25, 24 hours $50, VIP parking 24 hours $30 and if you stay more than 2 days without tell them, they extra charged you $25. The first 2 hours are for free!
Had to stop to get a nail pulled out of a flat tire. Right between the holidays, I worried I'd be stuck all day! They were super fast though! Had me in a bay within 15 mins of arrival and ready to go within an hour! Thanks 595 for helping me to get home to my loved ones for the new year!
This place is not bad but not good. Starting off with the bad. The lot is absolutely chocked full. Cars parked in spots meant for trucks. I get saving it for local drivers but it would make sense to have designated parking for designated purposes. EX: set parking for dropped trailers (or don't allow it), set parking for locals, set parking bobtail, set parking for others just trying to find a spot for the night, ect. There is also a trick without a engine or transmission which idk why it is here. Trash is dumped behind trucks and dropped trailers are everywhere (some not even road worthy). Below I will have pictures of just a fraction of what is here. Now for the good. The store is clean and fresh. The diner is very good, pricey, but good. The people working are very nice and professional. I would expect a nicer place to park that costs $26. I mean at least keep up with the trash. I've paid for parking at diff places which is roughly the same to park but have clean area to park and not have dropped trailers everywhere, along with other things.
Customer service was great. The parking was excellent. The cashier all greeted me with happy and smiling faces. The assistant manager help me with all of my concerns. I love the evening group of employees.
This place is not good. It's very crowded. At night it's pretty much impossible to find a parking space. However, security there is nice, but they charge alot of money to park there if you stay more then 24hrs. Fueling there is not bad. The showers there are not bad, they are actually clean.
My stay at the truckstop was amazing. The new assistant manager Myesha help me with everything. She helped make sure my stay was great. She helped me with parking, with food, shower and washing clothes. She sold me the most delicious cinnamon rolls I had ever tasted. She went over and beyond to help me.I definitely would come back again.
Nobody really seemed to know what was going on, the location was pretty bad, and the diesel pump wouldn't shut off at first. There weren't any prices on anything, and there weren't any cups easily available by the slushie machines.
I was very surprised of such a place. The people there, including the security, were fantastic. I even had eggs and muffin there. The coffee was great too.
Unfortunately this is more like a car parking than a truck parking at least for parking you will find mor cars on the truck parking spot, I have seen someone said there is no drop trailers or car park well I take some pictures after 30minute trying to find a spot and no luck sorry for the review picture don’t lies
BIG, BIG lOT, LIMITED PARKING. I couldn't believe all negative reviews untill i came back here today. Is not the truck stop it used to be 6 years ago, we used to get 1 free day parking, for every 75 gallon of fuel, now you have to pay $ 25. No matter what. Like people says on the reviews it has become a JUNK YARD, storage trailers and cars every where. Definitely no room for OTR DRIVER anymore only locals. if you here after 6 pm no empty spots,no wonder i saw lots of drivers parked on the street. (No parking sign)
For the size of the truck stop with the amount of spaces. More than 50% of them are being occupied by cars and busted up and broke down buses trucks and trailers. Definitely need to improve upon a policy that prevents that nor allows it. The lady at the guard shack the day I came in was nice and professional along with the morning guard shack personnel on duty. It's nice to have a little tiki bar get some regular food maybe a cold beer. Y'all do have a lot to offer from services to a chrome shop etc. Definitely need much improvement. That's why I'm only giving it a two star review. But most definitely need to do away with allowing busted up trucks and broke down vehicles and trailers etc to be allowed to take up much needed parking space for actual truck drivers who are on the road in need a place to stay for the night. That's all
This truckstop is the only one in this part of town. It has been here for years and I had my first opportunity to visit and check out their services recently. First of all let me say that if you are expecting the big corporate service you will be disappointed this place is very local and it shows. However, I had a chance to speak with the manager while I was there and he was very accommodating. This truck stop charges to park 20 for rigs 15 for box trucks daily but every 70 gal gets you a day and 320 in service gets u a day basically a fillup and PM will get u 3 days free parking. Staff is friendly but like I said not like the big guys. Lots of amenities Overall a good experience I would reccomend.
I stayed here over night. This place was my first experience staying and using a truck stop. Place is big. Has a lot of amenities. Desk clerk was very nice. All seemed clean. Prices seemed reasonable. I have now recommemded you to many other people
So, I did not encounter one staff member who was friendly or attentive my entire two night stay here... They all acted like they hated their lives and as though I was annoying them. This truck stop has exclusive parking that is closer to the actual buildings and then economy parking that is a bit farther away. The economy parking costs $20/24hours and the first two hours are free. I’ve no idea what the exclusive parking rate is but most of the spaces in it where taken up by local tour buses. I’m not a fan of having to pay to park. The vast majority of truck stops do not charge for parking except for maybe a 10 - 20 spot strip of spots that you can pay for in advance to reserve, usually costing $15/night. This truck stop charges you for every single spot on their property and the property can be mildly confusing the very first time you ever visit it. Showers are $12 and the truck stop has two places you can sit down and eat. One is more of a café style and the other is more of a sports bar. I didn’t try any of the food so I can’t comment on it. There are several bays available for mechanic work and one bay available for truck washes. I waited in line for a while at the truck wash only to have an attendant come and tell me that after he was done with the truck ahead of me he was not washing any more trucks for the day and proceeded to complain about his job and lot in life...and it was only 11 AM. They make money because you have to use them...the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area is extremely lacking in truck parking.
Dropped trailers everywhere. Cars taking truck parking. They even park their cars to take up 2 parking spaces. I've been here a half hour security has driven by me 3 times. Their ain't no way they can't see the cars taken 2 places. Even if they pay monthly or weekly. No reason for the staff has always been nice. Except for one lade who sits down behind the counter. She is not nice at all. She will over no hot food. Showers are nice. look you.
This place is not as cool as they make. It seems, as soon as you pull in it smells it’s a pain to get in and out of the lot. The restrooms were dirty, they got what appears to be homeless, walking around and chilling in the store not worth the stop!
If u fuel min 75gals , the shower and parking its free! Secure parking lot, you can drop your trailer, nobody's gonna touch nothing! 2$ hr to park, 20$ whole day and 12$ shower Sports bar, (patio photo) Video Lounge and Restaurant inside The staff seems to be nice :)
I can say this place was clean. Floors were scoured clean, bathrooms were spotless. I was lucky enough to park in premium parking, it to was clean not a piece of trash anywhere. Staff was helpful and professional. Chester's was closed when I was there, I did enjoy the frozen bananas.
