Love's is a one stop place no matter what everyone wants. They have all kinds of snacks and hot food. All kinds of drinks. Plus u can fill up the car with gas. Also the restrooms are very clean. The place stays busy, but the wait is never long. And the employees are very friendly.
It looks like this station’s primary purpose is to serve the trucking industry. I went there to fill a 20 lb propane tank. It wasn’t clearly marked where cars are supposed to go. So I ended up in the truck filling area first. Eventually found the propane fill station, but then it wasn’t clear where I should park for this station. I parked right in front of the fill station so I didn’t have to carry the tank too far. That turned out to be a passage way, but luckily it wasn’t busy at the time so everything went well. The service was friendly & helpful.
Very clean and convenient store
Some of the workers are really nice however as a ethnic person I really do not appreciate being hounded before I pay. I drive semi tractors , work hard and do not steal. I always pay at the fuel desk because I am a professional driver that spend a lot of $$$ at Loves around the country. Fast forward…, The Manager was ringing me up and accused me of not paying for my sandwich!!! I told him that I paid for my sandwich at Subway . Rewind…. I purchased a sandwich at Subway and paid for it!!! I decided to turn around and buy cookies. The cashier was not there so I picked up the pack of cookies and proceeded to the fuel desk to pay. I saw and felt the cashier at the car customer area watching me very hard. I didn’t care because I know that I am always a paying customer that should be valued! Little did I know she was reporting to the Manager as if I was stealing!!! I was there in line paying for the cookies ( at the fuel desk/cashier)and the manager called back to see what I had not paid for telling me about my sandwich!!! This is not the first time that I have felt stalked and watched at this location! I have felt on another visit a worker watching me closely. I am truly disappointed as a loyal customer to Loves! I’m really considering fueling and purchasing elsewhere! Mary L Side note to the Manager, Sir if you are having a issue with stealing 1st check employees ethically and watch your cameras. You are about to lose a lot of business if this continues!
Unless you have unlimited time, consider going on "off hours" Got there at 9:30, in at 11, not horrible. From 11 until 5:30 to get 4, 19.5 tires mounted and 6 balanced. The guy that came in at 3 did almost all the work. The day guys did what for 4 hours? UPDATE: I attempted to remove the crome "hubcap" to clean the grease they left all over it, no go. They obviously put the trim ring on with an impact! Really hand tight is enough. I sure hope I don't have a tire problem going back home. NOT HAPPY!
Once again i have to post about the Chester's in this location as being the absolute worst in the entire country out of all the ones on i 10 this one is trash and its not even on the interstate. These people have a sign posted that they open at 10 am and i walk in and the person in the back had a attitude and said they open at 11:30, every time i go here they never have any chicken ready. Yall have to do better your ranked worst in the entire nation.
I stopped in to fuel up and get something to eat for lunch. It was 9:54 and I was standing in front of the Chester’s chicken wanting to get something to eat. One of the employees looked at me and said 10 o’clock. At first I didn’t understand what they were saying and then another employee said they don’t open until 10 o’clock. I looked at my phone and it was literally six minutes till. There was food in the warmers getting cold, but they would not sell it to me because they didn’t open for six more minutes. I asked to speak to a manager. Her name was Laurie and she informed me that they can’t do it for me because if they did it for me, they would have to do it for everyone else, and it was a problem and people yelled at people and so on and so forth. so because they would not sell me chicken so that I could eat lunch and I could not wait around six minutes for them to open when all they had to do was put chicken in a box and hand it to me and charge me I had the money right there cash ready to go. I decided to take my business elsewhere. two takeaways one this is something that truckers deal with on a regular basis, and it should not be like this, especially when you have an establishment that is open 24 hours a day. Two when you have an opportunity to make money when someone is standing there wanting to hand, you cash for something that you already have on hand but you won’t give it to them because of a policy. I think you’re missing the mark. Loves is not out to serve truckers. They are only out to serve them selves. Laurie was blindly following the policies that loves set forth before her, it left a bad taste in my mouth and a poor opinion in my viewpoint of the company. As you can see based upon the length of this paragraph that I am writing, I was very aggravated and it will be a long time until I consider buying any food from loves at that location south of Lake Wales on state Route 27 I recommend going up the road a little ways and finding something else that tastes a little better and it’s a lot less cheaper anyway. Also, if you were heading towards bartow, there’s a Pilot in between Lake Wells and Bartow on state Route 60 and they have an Arby’s in there and they serve you 24 hours a day.
New and clean truck stop. Wish it was a lil bigger but ok. Weak Verizon signal but I like this place. Not tight.
This Love's is pretty clean, and the showers were spacious. Not a lot of parking but not alot of traffic compared to other locations off 27.
Don't you dare call somebody by the wrong pronoun, or you'll get threatened with arrest and thrown off the property. Way to go tiny tyrants at night, you lost my business. Fuel at pilot if Fly J. Thx

Brand spanking new LOVES! They got SubWay, Chester’s & Godfathers Pizza. Around 50ish parking spots!
Friendly staff, clean store, great coupons in the Love App plus 0.10 cent discount on gas per gallon. Great tasting coffee and my ? dogs love their hot dogs. Easy access and the truckers fill up on the opposite side so no interference with trying to maneuver around 18 wheelers. My go to truck stop while I am in town for the summer!
You can always count on Love's travel stocks to be well stocked with great service and this location is no exception!
Good clean store, employees could be a little more cheerful and not so grumpy. Overall good experience and several food options to choose from. Bathroom is probably the cleanest I have come across for gas station bathrooms and it never disappoints.
