I have been a Professional truck driver for years, traveling all over the country, and I have to say that without a doubt this is the best, cleanest, and downright tasteful pilot I've ever seen, from the showers to the public bathrooms to even the drink stand everything remains clean to a high standard.
Spotless bathrooms, so I would give 5 stars for cleanliness, but it is unacceptable to continue to block handicap access. I saw there was a post about it a YEAR ago. Why in the world will they not move the smoking thing from the handicap access? We noticed it even before we read the reviews.
The 2nd time I have stopped here and parking is a mess…. Only one spot that was free… kinda had me wondering at 2pm so after a 10hr break it was easy to tell…. Same trucks still parked…. So that means they not watching over the lot….. u got tons of drop trailers and bobtails taking up spots and trucks just sitting…could be a nice spot if there was a place to PARK
Reserved a spot 6 hours in advance to find every spot taken. Asked the employee in the store for help, someone named Rome came out and raised his voice at me and told me to F off. Claimed to be the general manager. Store was filthy, lot was disgusting, don’t bring your business here. Stop a few short and go to any of the other two PFJ’s in town.
I reserved parking at 11:26 am today February 18 2024. I arrived and all the reserved spots are full. Parked in the fuel isle and went inside the lady at the register give me my reserved parking receipt and I informed her someone needed to go walk the lot and get someone to move so I can park. She helped a few other customers and finally looked over and asked me can she help me with anything else. I said is anyone gonna get me a spot and she responded that they only had one maintenance guy tonight and he’s cleaning gas pumps and don’t have time that it would be awhile. I didn’t pay to wait I paid to have a spot. I arrived at 7:00 pm. This is poor customer service and fraud. We are on clocks in trucks and holding us up from shutting down when I paid for a spot is unacceptable.
I've been through there daily, but I've noticed 3-4 trucks been sitting there for over a year w/out Registration. Also trailers dropped for days even weeks at a time & nothing is being done about it. It's hard for drivers to come through & park because of this problem. Management is doing nothing about it. I've even seen 2 trucks for sale parked on top of the hill, it's been months. Trucks near fuel isle taking up space. I'm a driver & understand dropping your trailer to get service done but not abandoned
I am starting to realize that maybe it is upper management. This is unacceptable, I could not change to another handicap spot because they were already taken but you have a cigarette Post in the middle of a handicap loading and unloading zone also kind of blocking the ramp and right beside the door to get out of your car I don't know what to say. Anyone in a wheelchair will tell you this is ridiculous it's obviously need to go there by management because you're painted a sign on the concrete stating where it belongs. I like going to pilot but I'm going to start going the other places that care about handicapped people. Twice in one week that I have found pilot to not care about people in wheelchairs . One in south Carolina and the other in Georgia
I've been coming here for 10 years and live in the area. This is an awful pilot to fill up at. The employees have become less professional and productive. One employee was doing her nails while attempting to ring me up and almost hit another customer with her nail ( 7/2/2019 9:53am). The first diesel pump I went to had a broken handle and the second one I went to was leaking Def fluid and had been leaking for a while. The wendy's was playing rap music from the kitchen and has repeatedly gotten my order wrong. I recommend any truck driver looking to stop to continue on to the Loves in Thompson. The other pilot in the area has limited parking. I would love to discuss these issues further with the franchise owner or upper management.
Two people in the entire store and I've been waiting for ten minutes at the checkout for cigs while a woman and another guy ignore me.
They say they appreciate drivers, all they want is your money. We are going BK, With 2/mi freight, and they care so much about getting more money.
Can't give NO Stars!!! Seriously PFJ, Majority of limited truck parking spaces used as local driver terminal and drop yard. How much fuel are they buying or how much are they spending in the store while they're at home? Had to park in a Reserved Space. A store attendant then has the nerve to enforce the reserved parking, and make me move after I spent $36 dollars in the store & restaurant. No hot water for showers on 10/29. From now on I'll patronize their competition. Total lack of customer service at this location. Avoid it!
Alot of the parking is "Reserved" and its pretty packed 9/10 times. The whole place feels stressed. Easy to get into with a truck if you manage to actually find a space. The only saving grace here is the Wendy's.
Smaller pilot. Limited foods except for Wendy's. Clean restrooms. Friendly employees.
Reserved parking spot online. Rolled in at about 9:45 p.m. and the parking lot was completely overflowing. No one answers the phone so I had to go inside to ask for help getting my parking spot. Told to go back outside and wait. I waited for 30 minutes and started calling inside again. No answer. I gave up. I lost $15 of my money on that stupid reservation. I had to drive about 20 minutes away to squeeze into the back side of an AM/PM gas station. Thanks a lot guys!
Coffe is either empty or machines not working
Very clean and a wide variety of products. The staff is very friendly and eager to help you. The facility has spacious parking and overnight parking for the professional drivers. Clean showers. Wendy's is located within the building. Drive thru or dine in.
Carol on third shift is the BEST!! She always willing to go the extra mile for her customers. She needs a raise!!
