I was impressed, i usually stop at Loves travel centers this time i went to TA. They had a little more parking than the Loves next door. Less traffic than Loves so more restrooms available. Place was clean and neat. What really got me was they had a truckers chapel outside next to the mechanic shop. The Loves mechanic would not come and look at a problem my buddy had but the TA mechanic came right away and offered his expertise...
Nice place for a break. The restrooms are clean. The store is well maintained and stocked. Customer service is very good. Plenty of parking and food here. Can say they are doing a great job with this one
TA lost a sale of a $699 Truck GPS due to poor customer service & no employees available to open the glass case. After waiting for almost half an hour for the only employee at the register, very slow woman, to attend all people in line that just kept coming & coming, I finally told her to forget it. I will buy the GPS at a Pilot or FlyingJ since Love's across the street doesn't carry it. How can TA trained their employees to make other wait like that? It takes less than a minute to open the case, grab the Truck GPS and then complete the sales, people in line can wait a minute even if I have to go to the back of the line, but make me wait about half an hour on the side while I see her slow behind attend every customer? Nah. I will give my money to another non TA or Petro truck stop instead. Ridiculous.
Be careful many reserved spots are not marked clearly. Took one up. All the free ones had been occupied so I didn't want to move. So I had to pay 22. I'm just trying to get home to finally lay my wife to rest.
This is one of the nicer truck stops I have been to. The store was very clean, well stocked and looked organized. The showers were very nice and clean. The towels were fresh. There was plenty of room in the shower room. The employees where friendly. They do have mostly reserved truck parking. I also like that they check, to make sure you have paid. (Some places don't) The parking lot is well lit up at night. Yhe IHOP was great. They do have Subway. The Subway area looked nice and clean and organized, but didn't eat Subway. We had IHOP.
BEWARE BAD FUEL! I have been filling up here for about 6+ months and I noticed my engine acted differently. I had loss of power, bad fuel mileage, my fuel filter clogging up after a few fills and other weird issues with the truck. After trying to figure out what’s wrong with my truck I decided to try another fuel source. I IMMEDIATELY saw a difference with my truck! Stay away! Not only is the fuel bad but this place gets packed like sardines at night and 50% of the pumps are either occupied by drivers sleeping at them or not working.
The parking here is little...not much free, mostly pay spots. I stopped to have work done in the shop and as always with good planning it worked out well. I had breakfast at the new ihop since they renovated from the old country kitchen. It's really clean and new and the wait staff is fast and courteous. My food came out hot and fresh and my coffee pot stayed full. I enjoyed the new atmosphere and the break from the truck while the it was being worked on.
DO NOT STOP HERE. This place is the biggest dump I have ever stepped foot in. The first four semi truck fuel pumps run at about a gallon a minute. A local driver informed me it's been like that for a long time and told me which pump to use. The Fuel Island lights were all out, so i had to pump in the dark. The subway is in a sorry state of disrepair, including no oven and broken soda machines. The bathrooms look like they haven't been cleaned in a week.
The restaurant sucks!!! Is so.old, no fresh food on the buffet, so I order an omelette..guess what... taste so bad...looks uncooked...whatever. I looked this pics before I order my food, they saw me and ask me to stop taking photos...they know better then me why. We have no salt on our table so I check by myself others 5 tables to find a salt...no strows, no napkins, no fresh food, no cleaning... don't stop here, except if you need restroom asap
Bathrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. One of the nicer T/A's I've been to in a while.
I hate to write negative reviews, but sometimes it is necessary to get sometone's attention. This place has some positives, like the trucker's chapel located just north of the main building, and I have eaten several times at the IHOP located here and they have served good food with a smile most times. My friends and I have even interacted with truckers who are eating there and want to join a conversation to break up their day. Last night I pulled in with the gas gauge on E. I wasn't going to make it home without stopping for gas. I went past BP, Pilot, and Love's to this place because it is where I usually go if I stop at this exit, but it has been a little while. THESE PUMPS ARE NOW THE SLOWEST I'VE EVER SEEN ANYWHERE. OVER 12 MINUTES TO PUMP 7 GALLONS OF GAS. It was after 2 AM and I didn't realize at first just got slow it was pumping, and by the time I did, I was too tired to get back in and go somewhere else. The cashier was nice and acknowledged the problem. She said sometimes resettimg the pumps fixes it, but not usually. She said the owners/managers are aware of the problem. PEOPLE, CHANGE YOUR FUEL FILTERS, AT A MINIMUM! IF YOU CAN'T DO IT, CALL JF PETRO OR ANOTHER COMPANY WHO CAN SERVICE YOUR PUMPS! THIS IS INEXCUSABLE MAINTENANCE!! I won't be back for a while.
I want in to the store on 12-22-23 to get my parking slip I had already paid on the ta app and I bought some items in the store and the lady charge me again for parking when I told about this she shurg it off and annoyer Me and want about he day i would stay from this ta if you can unless you want to be charge twice for parking and deal with rude employees
Guys, don't stop here, lousy service, I stopped at pump #1 to load diesel, I go to the cashier and tell her to put me only 30 dollars because I wanted to refill the tank and buy DEF, she was entertaining or taking care of other people's things to her work, in short, he put the diesel to a pump to which I do not have access due to the size of my trailer, even so he was upset, did not want to admit his mistake and said that he had the right not to sell me the fuel because I had yelled, it's a woman with glasses and a skinny blonde. Do not go to this place, go to Love's next door, I don't understand how they allow people to work who have no idea how to treat customers
Fuel island is way too dark, can't see. Some buttons don't work, both pumps had a major leak, a lot of diesel and money spilling on ground, and def didn't work.
This place has the things you need for a variety of stuff. While your traveling or going picnicking, etc.
