I had to stop at Love's Travel Stops in Grayson, and wow, was I amazed! The bathroom facilities were really clean. It is not always easy to find that on the road. The entire place was kept clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is a terrific spot for a rest during a long drive. This Love's has you covered should you be passing through and need a comfortable and clean stop. Huge thumbs up!
Not a truck stop, 20 spots and so tight you'd be lucky to get in or out without hitting something. The loser moron the owns the hotel sold the gravel lot to some other loser who thinks he will make a profit charging parking and booting/towing trucks. If you pay to park there your the problem.
The shower was not that clean. Something was crawling out of a crack in the floor of the shower. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in a Love's shower. I'm usually very satisfied with my experiences at Love's Travel stop but this time I left feeling nasty. The absolute worst experience I've had.
It is 5:58 PM October 14, 2023. I just experienced one of the most racist moments as a truck driver at the store. The lady with the long curly hair blonde older looking lady was so rude to me and then tried to embarrass me in front of the entire store like I didn’t know how to do my job, if I do something incorrect, which we all make mistakes just simply correct me in a proper manner as long as I comply within the policies of the store, which I did once I was correct it. The cashier let me do something that another cashier didn’t approve of. I scheduled my truck four times the third time I scaled my truck, the employee let me scale the fourth time without paying for the third ticket. Which prior to going back to the truck we discussed I just pay for both when I come back in. For some reason he didn’t wake me. She came back and said I’m not waiting you until you pay which is understandable that’s not a problem I don’t mind following the rules it’s how she did it the most rudest, unprofessional way of handling something an employee actually let me do then she accuse me of stealing. While I was on the scale with my truck. Once I got back in to pay her because she was very rude which I let slide I wasn’t going to argue with her then she accused me of being an incompetent truck driver when I told her I need to take my air brakes off before you scale me she didn’t implied I’m not waiting you then. Don’t you gotta set your brakes when you’re on the scale it clearly states do not set your air brakes on the scales. It will give you a false reading and if it doesn’t say this on the scale you’re getting way do you need to know. So then she tries to embarrass me in front of all the customers mind you I’m the only black guy in the store and I am an off-duty officer, which I didn’t want to name I don’t want anyone treating me any better because of that. I am a truck driver now. A guy pulled her to the side and actually told her I was speaking the truth, but she tried to imply. I was incompetent and embarrassed me in front of everybody very rude, and accuse me of stealing. If you can avoid this loves, I’d go somewhere else. That’s the second racist thing I experienced in this town. This city does not like Black people, and they want you to know it even the citizens. Even as an off-duty officer, I would hate to get stopped by state, troopers policeman, constables any type of law-enforcement. I plan just to leave this city and do not stop here anymore.
Super clean, really impressed. The window cleaning fluid was clean and worked well. Wendy’s connected for a quick bite.
Head up! Small Truck stop. No parking available in this truck stop Oh sorry it’s not truck stop, it is Convenient store. Don’t confused on google mape it’s showing lots of truck parked there. If you needs stay for break or reset clock, parking space $10/24Hr.
I love going in loves travel stops. They always have something you want to get for a loved one shirts, blankets or figures there's always something different.
0 stars. Scammers. They are in the deal with local police and DOT inspector on the weight scale near by. Came to change 2 tires, they made estamate for 6900$, hubs, brake pads, tires, rims .... etc AVOID TO CALL AS ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE!
No laundry, small parking lot, pay to park. Place is really only good if you're in a pinch with your hours or fuel.
Trippak mailbox does not lock. Unbelievable employees are cool. Good coffee. Small amount of parking. Got to love Wendy's
Billy was a huge help to my wife and I when we came in looking for food at 230 am. He was very friendly, courteous, and helped us find our way to some hot food. Fantastic customer service.
Typical Loves. Has a Wendy's inside. What sucks is the big lot behind the loves that USED TO be free is not anymore. Some company bought it and now charge $15 for overnight parking. Update: was told by the Loves cashier that it was $15. But I ended up staying there a different night and it was only $10.
No dog park. Pump was ultra slow. Ended up going to the shell close by because it couldn’t wait all day to fill up my tank
They leave cases of water outside for chemicals to boil up, Great way to keep truck drivers healthy. Showers were small water pressure with bad, flies everywhere.
Easy place to stop for gas and snacks/drinks. Convenience store had a wide selection of items. Prices were expected, parking lot and store were clean.
Cindy E is the meanest cashier I’ve ever met! Doesn’t how to talk to people maybe customer service isn’t the job for her
