This place has everything you need. Showers are nice and clean if you get a wash out for fuel the showers are free otherwise they're $10. The brisket food truck is epic!
This place may be tiny but they have the best showers and they're my go to place for washouts and scaling my loads when I pick up in St Joseph. Like this place is awesome enough that even though Google says it has been 5 years since I was there last I still recommend them to other drivers all the time because they left that big an impression. I'm sitting in Alabama right now and just pulled this place up on Google Maps to send a friend the link and realized I somehow have never left a review. Place rocks.
If you are a box trailer don’t bother coming here for a washout, they will treat you like the last priority and give livestock trucks the wash bays ahead of you regardless when you arrived. Zero instructions on where to go and what to do, they expect you to sit in front of an empty wash bay for 45mins. Cashier in the truck stop clearly doesn’t want to work there and as such treats you like you’re stupid.
The absolute worst cattle trailer washout I have ever had. Zero stars .
For anyone that needs a washout don't waste your time here, because apparently they can put you in line where it's most convenient rather than in the order you show up. Pulled up to the open bay and the kid washing tells me the truck behind is next. I said no I was after the stock trailer he calls the front desk and somehow that truck is next. As I am nosed up to the empty bay. I told him if I back out I'm leaving he shrugs his shoulders and say I'm sorry that's what they told me. I heard the trucker on the phone with the front lady while getting my ticket and she says your after the siemer truck. So I left. This was the last strick after being charged for an extra hr that I wasn't even there for the time before. Cow trucks and loyal customers mean nothing next to the daily hog truck. I will be doing business elsewhere from here on, as should anyone else
Reefer washout was clean, but I don't know why no-one can keep the water off the ceiling and low on the walls. I asked them to keep it on the floor and as low as he can. I have done washouts and had no issue keeping it low. It gets old having to squeegee the ceiling and walls.
Only tank wash I trust in the area. Fabulous showers, free with a tank wash, or qualifying fuel purchase, they have been serving the trucking community for 40+ years.

Washouts take forever, nice people just extremely slow.
Lately washing the trailer is a problem, at least the night shift, a lot of delay inside a trailer, it no longer works as it should, unlike the girls at the store, they are excellent
Nice people. Went for hopper washout. $50 cash. Paid inside convenience store part. No overnight parking there. Stop n go. But nice people.

Hands down the best little truck stop I've ever been to! Some of the best workers in the business who take pride in their work. Absolutely spotless store, showers and restrooms. Decent supply of essentials for trucks. Excellent choice of delicious packaged food, sweets, and snacks. Truly an example of how to run a small truck stop and truck/trailer washout business RIGHT! Keep up the great work.

stealing my money and don't want to give me my prepaid cat scale tickets. Shady business ?? updated: I was completely pulling out off the scale at everytime adjusting of my tandems. NO!!! I was not sliding my tandems while parking on your scale. You have to open your eyes wider for sure. I was doing nothing wrong there. I was courteous and respecful enough when using your scale. I paid you for using your scale, I was not begging you anything thus I shouldn't be treated rudely!!!
It’s a smaller truck stop, parking for o/n is across the street at light and down a bit.. they have suitable coffee and the place is clean. LOTS of to go fresh food choices - haven’t picked one as of yet but lots if you want it. The ladies that work are always pleasant.
