Stopped for gas and to wash windshield. Gas pump pumped at least a gallon on the ground and wouldn't stop. When I went in the store to tell the attendants, they said there was nothing they could do, and that they'd need to order a new gas pump. When I asked for my money back, they told me I should've been watching it, even though I explained I was standing right there, and that the pump would not stop pumping. I understand maybe there wasn't allot they could do, but I know there are ways to get compensated in situations like this. Wouldn't go back. They never disabled the pump either, so I've got no doubt another poor soul had pumped another gallon of gas on the ground.
First and last time stopping here. Problem with their system so they try to charge me extra for a shower. I will never use this location again. Security pulled Knight stick and started shaking after it did not scare me off. After spending thousands at Loves and being treated like that. I will personally never come back to this location. Horrible. The security assaulted me and then tried to act tough. Absolutely insane. I'm tired of these security guards and he did not want to show his ID and he kept threatening me with violence. And I kept saying I'm not scared. I kept asking for the manager and no one would answer any questions. I'm NEVER RETURNING TO THIS LOCATION AND I WILL FILE A COMPLAINT FOR ASSAULT.
My husband is a truck driver who waited all day after driving all night to get a HOT shower at this Love’s truck stop. While the truck stop was clean the showers were VERY COLD. He used his free reward to get a shower and couldn’t get a decent shower. What makes it even worse is that the “graveyard shift manager” wouldn’t reimburse him for wasting his free rewards on a cold shower. Very rude and unprofessional. Truck drivers that move America are entitled to a decent shower whenever available.
This is a two-part review, one being the store, which will be all good, and the other part being the shop So-called service advisor to start off with the store and her Other OM we’re awesome. Had a lot of issues with the tire shop and Leandra she was on top of it, doing everything possible and going out of the way to make sure that I was comfortable and taking care of along with the other OM Loves definitely needs a lot more of these two wonderful ladies working in this environment They were very respectful and understanding of my frustrations and irritation, above and beyond the job to make this customer forward/trucker Happy thank you and keep up the awesome work.. As far as the tire shop, the so-called service advisor was horrible on first shift Very rude and non-sympathetic to what is going on using his favorite words waiting in line everyone has an emergency that is not how you respond to customers I’ve been at this location to get two tires done on my trailer since yesterday afternoon and still waiting with one being open. No trucks in it now going on a little over an hour and using the excuse. Oh well, that’s for mechanicals only but yet they’re doing a mechanical radiator in the tire bay, make that make sense and every time you ask where you are in line or anything he has a foul attitude and smart trust and believe if I could leave and legally get past a DOT scale house, I would take my business elsewhere, and will be definitely contacting corporate And other higher up individuals in regards This service advisors behavior, because this is not how Tom loves would want his customers to be treated This service advisor has no business being in customer service. If you cannot handle the stress of this kind of work. As a previous employee with loves even I know you do not treat customers this way and you do whatever it takes to get the customers in and out Not to mention, I’ve been sitting in bay 5 the outside bay this whole time, so using the excuse, they don’t have a bay open to change two tires is unacceptable
This Love’s has a great layout and super clean and spacious bathrooms. Definitely worth the minute it takes to get to from the interstate.
If I could use 0 stars I would. I was showering with my husband and after the 2nd hr. on the dot, this lady knocked on the door and with a lot of attitude screamed to us “ YOU HAVE 5 MINUTES TO LEAVE, YOU GOTTA GO”. We were treated like criminals without the murder. I wonder if they get trained to be disrespectful and unprofessinal, in this case they should give this location the worse LOVES OF THE YEAR. If ppl have a timing to shower, I think they should say it, and not play the unlimited game, also not let the costumer spend $15 dollars on a shower that after the minute you hit the second hr, they’ll kick you out even if you haven’t washed the soap of your body yet. I think they forget how businesses succeed, all the propaganda about good costumer service it’s getting old at this location. I WONDER IF THE OWNERS ARE AWARE OF THIS FAILURE! I guess I’ll keep wondering and they’ll keep the bad reputation.
Free refills and a platinum member. Went in to refill my coffee and got a new lid because the old one was gross and was called a liar and told I got a new cup. She scanned my card anyway and looked at me in disgust. Maybe don't call your customers liars and thief's. I will be looking into removing all our drivers off of platinum status if this is the service we get. We don't pay all this money for fuel to get treated like that over a cup of coffee.
They don't refill the gas pump receipt paper. 50/50 shot on the cashier knowing how to pull it up. Thanks to the cashier on my second trip inside for getting me the correct receipt. Another trip, another pump with no paper. I'm not sure why this is so hard, especially for a major travel stop like this one. I shouldn't have to go inside and wait in line to get a receipt.
The Store Manager (woman) was cleaning the mens restroom no sign out and when asked she said it's ok I don't mind you can just go and continued cleaning...

I am deeply disappointed with the customer service experience at this Love's Travel Center. Despite their claim of "friendly faces," the service provided was far from it. I found myself in a frustrating situation where I missed my scheduled shower while I was at the Speedco mechanical shop within Love's. When I called to request that they simply put me back in line, I encountered Josh, who initially informed me that showers were first-come, first-served. However, when I clarified that I wasn't asking to reserve a shower but to be placed back in the queue since I had already purchased my ticket and missed my allotted time, Josh insisted that they had to physically hand me the ticket. This reasoning struck me as absurd and nonsensical, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I implore the staff at this establishment to exercise common sense, courtesy, and professionalism when addressing customer concerns from behind the service desk. Such an approach would undoubtedly improve the overall experience for truckers and travelers like myself.
The parking lot was Poorly maintained, don't appreciate the drivers well being, Only money. Entrance to the store and shop ,no problem. All other areas ,an ice ring

Don’t use the Shop Services to fix your Truck Or Trailer those mechanics don’t know what are doing. So I had some light out on my trailer Apparently Some wires issues, Yes They Fixed but they crossed the wires on the right rear lights, The blinker was on the inside light and the Stop on the outside and that’s not the way is supposed to be. They Spent 2 and a Half Hours Doing the Job And They needed two guys to do it, YESSS two guys doing the Job And they didn’t make it right, so afterwards They wanted Charge my Boss $ 700 Dollars for the repair and most of that sum was the labor rate for each mechanics that worked on the trailer, instead of paying the rate for Only the job Parts And Labor , they Will charge you the labor time for each mechanics that works on your truck or trailer plus parts. At the end My Boss were able to lower the total Payment and they had to correct the wires to the right positions . Ohh by the way they repaired the trailer the hard way. My rears trailer lights are Rivets tightened so they took they rivets off to lose the light and access to the wires nearly messing up the lights to the point that They almost had to replace them. BE AWARE IF YOU HAVE RIVETS HOLDING YOUR REAR LIGHTS THERE IS AN EASY WAY TO ACCESS TO THE WIRES BY REMOVING THE BACK COVER WHICH IS ALSO TIGHTENED WITH RIVETS BUT CAN BE REPLACED BY SCREWS AND BOLTS WHEN PUTTING THE COVER BACK . TERRIBLE SERVICES !
Staff were pretty nice in the loves store.... but that McDonald's needs to maybe hire new staff (replace 85% of night time employees and maybe a new manager. Morale sucks, people look totally confused, and takes quite awhile to get order which is lukewarm fries every time... ot sure wth up here but homeless people were sleeping in their lobby tonight spread out on. One whole half of mcdonalds restaurant... I am sympathetic to homeless people, but not in a food restaurant. Where you're serving, people not cool, and if they're not doing a good job in front of your, what are they doing? When you can't see and the not necessary. You do not need to cuss so worried your customers can hear You. You don't need to cuss at your customers. Maybe because they don't know their order number. It's just dumb ridiculous. There's no excuse for that ridiculous behavior at a professional Workplace, and you don't yell at your employee for being 28 seconds. Late back from his break in front of customers and then employ it in turn should not cuss at the manager in front of customers. Ridiculous trashy trash sugar. Maybe a new restaurant would be better with all new employees Or just get the restaurant and put a casino in there ? For the record, this is the worst review. I've ever gave it to any business. But somebody needs to hear It and do something. Cuz it's been going on every time I come to town. It's the same b s, it's just not cool, it's tacky and trashy.. Enter the 2 employees who are actually decent attitude and working. Thanks, I appreciate the good attitude from those who have one.!
