They did a excellent job when they built this truck stop! Lots of room and good food. This morning I got two pieces of fish and the twice baked baked potato. Fantastic job. I'm impressed. And the cold ribs and the gouda potato salad is pretty dang good. Many thanks to the Wilmoth family. I think maybe I should be compensated for advertisement and word of mouth. I tell everybody about the TA there pray it stays this way. Thank you guys

I never thought that I would say this about a "TA" Truck stop, but the Mount Vernon, Missouri TA Is one of the cleanest, brightest, friendliest, most well stocked truckstops in the country. Good food options as well as a Wendy's on site. Very trucker friendly with a huge well lit parking lot! This is positively what a truck stop should be!

My recent visit to this shop left me extremely dissatisfied. The staff assumed I'd be fine with a particular set of tires for my truck without consulting me. This oversight resulted in significant vibrations and shaking while driving, which not only compromised my comfort but also risked damaging my vehicle. The lack of communication and accountability from the staff, coupled with their indifference when I raised the issue, was deeply disappointing. Awsome brisket sandwich and service. Stopped in today in the middle of a winter storm and even got blessed with full service fueling and trust me, and you hold 300 gallons plus have a frozen shield and wipers that's a BIG plus

Idiots are working at the front desk at the service department, thinking they can just assume they can put whichever tire they chose, not even think they should ask for your opinion. And then, when they call you for a payment, and you realize they put the wrong tires, they'll make you pay for labor to put an actual tire that you wanted in the first place. Make sure if you talk to Leah or Leslie or whatever her name is, you double-check she understood what you want, otherwise you'll pay for that

1st and last time I stop here. Hang on to your wallet for poor quality. Ham and Cheese from deli was eight dollars. Bun was so dry I threw it away. No condiments on sandwich.

Big truck stop. With clean restrooms, lots of fuel lanes. Inside they have Subway, a lot of souvenirs, bakery, fried fish and fried chicken, vape shop with homemade juices. Freshly baked banana bread was amazing. Very nice employees.

Amazing travel center. Employees polite and friendly, food absolutely delicious, spacious parking. Highly recommended

Truck service? I took my 21 international pro star in for routine pm have been here ( New Mt Vernon TA Shop) four and a half hours in the shop waiting on what I was told was the gm to return from his 1hr 20min. Drive to Springfield mo. With filters that should be stocked for a very common application. I can’t help but wonder if the $180 parts run fee has something to do with this??? So for now I have no choice but to wait (held hostage) as they began the service without mentioning any of this. Long story short if you own a international DO Not Go Here For Routine Service!

Food here is dried up and overcooked. They need a new cook. If the food is not gone as fast or line is long, that should tell you that the customers are not happy with the food... Dora should explore more in the cookbook...

My husband daughter and I came in about a week ago it was about 11pm on a Wednesday and my husband and daughter was treated poorly. My little girl put her soda on the counter, she can't even see over the counter and my husband put his things with hers and the lady working was rude because she had to do something and said well do you want them or not I'm not gonna reach all the way to get them...my husband was taken back by her attitude and a girl that was there stepped in and made the situation alot better by talking about sports with my daughter. We go to leave and a white man put his stuff on the edge of the counter and the woman was as nice as she could be to him so we feel that the woman working is racist and after speaking to a few other people they said she was . We won't be coming back.

It’s clean but that’s really the only good thing about this truck stop. The worst part is they put the Driver lounge in the truck shop idk I think that’s really disrespectful to drivers that spend their hard earned money here we have to go outside like some dogs just to watch tv after driving all day

Friendliest truck stop I've ever been to!! Folks here are very nice, courteous and extremely helpful.. Truck stop is clean,roomy and has plenty of parking..I could go on and on..2 ????

False advertising, lack of customer service. Stopped for coffee, grabbed 2 canned coffees because they said $7/2. Take them to the register and they rang up full price. No big deal, nicely told the cashier they were on sale. She proceeds to say “sometimes it rings up right, sometimes it doesn’t. There’s nothing I can do about it.” I’m sure she was telling the truth that she can’t override anything, but businesses have an obligation to post accurate pricing and honor it. She clearly didn’t care at all, and based on her answer it’s a known problem no one is bothering to fix. An apology would have gone a long way. You can keep your coffee and I’ll just hit any other gas station in the future. It’s not like there aren’t 3 more in a quarter mile radius. I realize it’s not a lot of money, but it’s the principle and the fact that there was no action to correct it.
