Extremely Busy but Decent truck stop. 1400 & there were hardly any available parking spots. Luckily we found a non reserved parking spot. There are more reserved spots than not. No showers at this Petro. The restroom has only 1 stall. We walked. 03 miles, 10 minutes to Love's to shower. The food looks delicious even though we cooked our own. We got $229.42 of fuel so the parking fee was waived.
Nice and clean, spacious too for the truck lot. They charge I believe 25 for parking without a reserve spot if you're there for over 2 hours but if you buy stuff and meet the spend, the fee is waived. Seems to be one of few stops in the area so expect for the lot to have straggler no park spot trucks during the late hours.
Truck lot has many junky trucks that obviously haven't been moved in weeks, no way someone is paying $20/day to keep them here... meanwhile paying customers have to drive on because there's no available parking. Staff is great and the place is clean, though. I'm very happy this place is here.
This is one of my favorite places to shutdown for the night. I have been here several times over the years, and I had a great experience each time. The staff is super friendly, Iron Skillet has a buffet with delicious food, restrooms are always clean, plenty of washers and dryers, they have a chrome shop, cinema theater, and so many other things to numerous to list. You gotta check them out for yourself. If you're a truck driver, you have to pay for parking if you're there for more than two hours. But, if you spend $20 at the store, parking is free.
So last night my trucker had to have the security guard do his job to get us our reserved spot & he made the comment “I’m busy” so I went into the store to let them know and grab our ticket so in case someone moved. Well we got a spot then we went into iron skillet. My trucker ordered a baked potato with butter and cheese the server brought it back plane and when we asked where’s the cheese she was rude and snotty and didn’t put our order in til an hour after she seen us and sat us down. Her name is Sam. She’s rude and was very non professional. The food was also really greasy this morning when I ordered 3 pancakes they were dry & greasy.hours.
Backed up gate; Entering was frustrating due to the gate not opening and no one available to assist. Desirè, our waitress was pleasant. The food was fresh and hot. The restaurant was clean. Everyone was busy. One complaint; How do you pay for reserve parking? The lady on the fuel island set me towards the gate, but there is no one there! Somewhat a guard drives by and checks to see if you have paid? I don't get it...pay for reserve? Where? Some of us senior drivers are tired, all we want is to park and rest. It's cold, and it's supposed to snow. I'm too tired to figure it out today. I'm going to sleep!
Nice to have travel centers available yet it would make a huge difference if the necessary investments were made to completely change the cleanliness of the establishment especially the restrooms which smelt like straight urine certainly during to a lack of thorough cleaning Im sure the corp generates sufficient revenue to pay an encouraging wage to have the proper cleaning staff and kindly get someone to keep the garbage on the property removed, over flowing garbage cans is not the way. Hopefully the conditions will improve immediately. Thanks again Petro, TA
Stopped in to get an oil change and a power steering box tightened up. Arrived at 11:am and were brought inside at 2:10pm. As of 8:30pm, we are still here. The place is filthy as h*ll and the bathrooms are disgusting. The techs spend more time standing around and talking than actually doing anything. The shop floor is so thick with oil and accumulated grime, that you can't get in your truck without tracking this stuff all in your truck. Not good
0 stars, I haven't been there yet and because of the reviews, and chief having to pay for parking is just. I am retired Navy and veteran of both gulf wars, and it saddens me that I defend the freedom of companies like Petro to screw people over. I think us trucker need to boycott this company for just 1 day of not stopping here, the money they would loss on no fuel and food sales would get them and other truck stop to stop charging for parking This business practices of charging trucks for parking is unethical Signed one miss off Navy veteran
The place is clean and provides good services, but queuing for more than an hour to get out is not considering the truckers who have the measured time to deliver. They should improve the system to make it more efficient and faster, so as not to harm the drivers in their delivery, I definitely do not recommend it.
Good chunk of truck parking taken up by the local’s cars. Need to start towing them. If they want a guaranteed spot they need to pay for a reserve spot. Don’t even give them a warning.
Shouldn't even get a 1 star. Trashy and gross. Shameful really, we Truckers are stuck with no place else to park and this is our only choice!!! Thank goodness we no longer have to rely on your food and showers. I can't imagine the health standards for inside if outside is this nasty.so nasty.
The only thing this place has going for it is the large parking lot, the bathrooms are like all petro’s across the country, trash, broken and needs cleaning. Trying to pay for parking is a ridiculous manner, figure out which building will pay for all the semi parking and post a freaking cardboard sign because that should be the petro way. Also don’t worry about getting your semi repaired because who would want to work for this company. Broken machines no staff and a need to turn away $1,000’s of dollars in an instant.
I got the truck checked in yesterday and told them about the trailer ABS light. Today they telling me they have no notes about the trailer ABS light ON. They just stole my driver's 2 days for nothing bcs someone forgot to take a note. They all suck! + the call receiver lady is the worst one I talked to.
Plenty of parking but you still have to pay to park here more than 2 hrs..lots of reserved parking. Store is always clean but after around 6pm it's a mad house and good luck finding parking
