This location has been around for a long time. Unfortunately, this location is just like others in the chain needs major renovations. I have closets that are bigger than the showers. The parking situation would be great if 50% of it wasn't reserved parking. it seems there is a greed issue and not a driver friendly issue.
Prepare your steel-capped boots or rubber boots. It's unbelievable to see this yard full of water. One wonders how long the court has been in this state? Out of respect for truckers, I strongly hope that the problem is resolved quickly! Thank you for your attention in advance to management!
Only the good thing was the water pressure in the shower. Laundry wasn’t working. Be cautious there are huge potholes in the parking lot.
Gas station food, 6 wings for $10.00. restaurant closed, if it wasn't for paid parking $22.00 a day this place would be shut now. Fuel, shop, shower TV room. I have been here for 3 days, most of the time the shop has been closed or completely there's no work to be done. Tell you how bad the food is. The employee doesn't eat it. They'll all shell employees this isn't a TA truck stop this is a shell gas station with shower and parking. But a x through this one.
Stopped here as a car driver for gas,the bathroom and some snacks. The gas stations attendant was quick and friendly and so was the staff in the convenience store part. The bathroom was decently clean and I was able to get what I wanted as far as soda and chips from the store. It wasn't as crowded as the turnpike rest stops and it had more selection
Overall this was a surprisingly good experience. I only say this because I don't expect much from truck stops in New Jersey. This TA was actually very clean. The restrooms, the dining area, and the fuel desk area were all quite clean and orderly. The food was far better than expected. Everything was cooked to perfection and the food came out quickly. The only complaint was the waitress was not as attentive as she could have been, especially considering the restaurant wasn't very busy. She was friendly though, so I can overlook the lack of refills on coffee and the fact I had to walk up front to get my own check. Overall I was pretty happy though. I would recommend stopping here.
Came to the shop to get an aliment done & told them that my truck was pulling to the left..they "fixed it".. I don't even make it out the parking lot & it's still doing the same thing. Go inside & the tech starts spilling all this information on me which was cool, but the issue remains. Long story short I left with the same problem. This is why I take my truck to the dealership..not TA's fault, that on me. Thanks for nothing, but never again.
Trucker Life! I am bias when it comes to TA truck stops, they are just old and ran down properties. This location is no different. I barely spend fuel money in TA's unless I have no choice. TA properties are screaming for major make over to catch up with time. The appeal(a lack of) belongs to a 3rd world country. Restaurant signage is just a decor, it's been closed for a while.
Let's see. There is no restaurant here no more. You need to open it back up. Guess what. The pandemic is over and done with. Won't matter anyways as the food selection at other places is very restrictive and not much to choose from. You also need to fix the wifi as it doesn't work in the parking lot
This is probably one of the most trashiest TA truck stops I have ever parked at. The employees do not care about the way the truck stop looks for the drivers. All the men’s stalls in bathroom were out of toilet paper all the employees standing on the phones. No food for drivers. I stay here a lot unfortunately due to making pick ups around the corner. And it gets worse and worse.
Best food I ever eat on truck stop. They have international food: sarma(stuffed cabbage), raštan(green cabbage), gulaš...... so tasty. A lot of parking places and stuff is nice.
The quality and service going down in truck stops in general, parking lot with giant craters, restaurants closed, nasty bathrooms, nasty showers hair everywhere, shower pad previously used there… only mission it’s charge muchest you can, I didn’t went to the shop but I’m assuming it’s have to be fun, looks like there is no management here, it’s the worsest TA I saw long at long time, good luck
It is a great place to park and break. Pat to park only draw back.
Booked and reserved a place to park my truck 8 hours before I arrive to find no parking available. They offered me my money back but I decided to park at the closed fuel lane instead. They need to control the parking situation there.
I stopped here for suv gas. Between 11:30pm to 1:20am. Sat at pump 5 to wait for the pump attended. I looked around and I see that there was another passenger truck that's pulling a camper at another pump and a small suv at another pump. Then I hear a person yelling for us to pull off. Also. Yelling we are close. I see a young man dressed in street clothing, no one was marked as a worker for this shell gas station. I asked the person is there anyone else working on the pumps and the young man told me he doesn't. He proceeded, finished smoking then walk in and around the counter. Then talked to the lady cashier behind the counter. I then walked in the building and the young man walked off and left me with the cashier. The cashier then asked me " what do you want". I then responded ; I hope to get gas and that i am a points rewards member with shell. The cashier then looked sharply to the left to the lingering young man that was off in the distance. she ( cashier ) asked me how much. I then responded to say $30.00.. Then the cashier told me that I have to work the pump on my own. I then said is that legal. After i just got done saying that the lady told me to buy gas elsewhere.
