Great clean place. On the fountain pop they had Coke zero and diet coke. They do have a lot of diabetic friendly options. Splenda and fresh fruit. They also have a pretty big dog park. They had Subway, Chester's chicken, and a Godfather's pizza to go. I had the all meat pizza it was good. He had the jalapeno cheddar hot dogs. He said they were great. Friendly staff.
Stopped for dog park, which was great. Ran inside for food and beverage - stood at counter for at least 5 minutes. The girl who walked past me on my way to the counter never came back. I left without a purchase. Get a second cashier. You lost a sale. And a customer.
The shower room should have been cleaned. Shaved hair in the sink, toilet has bootie dust and hair along with something else. The side of toilet hadn't been cleaned in a pretty good while from the looks of it. There was a huge toenail on the floor along with little trash and dust under the bench. Only good thing is that the actual shower was clean and very hot.
Looking at the reviews- They must've had good management at one time. But in the last 6 months the reviews have gone downhill. There's a blizzard outdoors. Roads are treacherous. Trucks are parked literally everywhere. Where I'm parked there is no 'no parking' sign. I'm on my 10 hour break. And a Loves worker beats on my door and very rudely says- You need to move. I went inside to speak to a manager whom tells me- Go park on the other side of the bridge. (You can't do that. There are 2 places that are private property.) Then I said- I'll call your GM and get just said- Go ahead. I also said- I'd planned to buy fuel here when I got up. But not now. And he didn't care about that either. There are trucks parked in front of some 'no parking' signs and they didn't make them move. Not to mention- There was a Loves tanker parked in the fire lane.
This location deserves better than a 1 star but here's why I rated it such. Facility was clean. Parking was great. Staff was courteous. Also hot food was available at 1am when I finally got off the road. Downside. The shower water smells like recycled sewage water that wasn't recycled. When I brought this to the attention of the staff all I was told was," We know." No apologizes. No refund for the noxious, gag inducing smell left covering my body. I'm astounded they not only still charge knowing this, but the smell definitely indicates something is in the water. Now the real question is, given I smelt the same thing coming from the tap, is the same water being used for making the food at the connecting Chesters and also the beverage fountain/ice machines? Quite disgusted by the whole experience after reporting my issue.
Place is clean and the workers are friendly even at six o'clock in the morning. There was plenty of food to choose from, every thing was stocked up.
Was told that I had to wait 45 minutes for a shower “to let the water heat back up “ ? Maybe it’s true but I think just telling me that and letting me get into the shower room would be fine. Most of us shave ect before showering anyways. Also the time is 13:17 no one is even at this truck stop.
I managed to take my truck to their shop due to an engine light on, they told me they were going to check it after half an hour, mechanic came and said he didn't know how to work the computer, he said I had to wait till the next morning. The next morning they literally throw me out of the gas station, they refused to check it and do any repairs. They were very rude and offensive including the manager. Quite frustrated with the situation since the weather conditions were at -20, and my truck was frozen.
The subway here doest even know how to heat the food properly. My experience was not great as a whole at this facility. Go up the road to a different place. Don't waste your time or money.
Everything is high priced. Convenient though. They got lots of stuff. Costly. The McDonald's attached is run well. Food always hot and fast
This gas station has everything , bathrooms , food , souvenirs, clothes, they got electronics like gps, drinks Shower Everything that u need for the road
They never have paper at the pumps. If I wanted to go in, it would be different, but when I am in a hurry, I would like a recpt instead of going in and having to wait to get one.
Everyone is so nice here. I had been driving all day and was pleasantly surprised how kind the staff are here. So happy I decided to take the exit I did.
The showers are a good size and clean, the water pressure was awesome. The employees were helpful and courteous.
If you want to use there shower. Strictly no because water stinks so bad even though all drinks stinks so bad. Be careful guys that would be dangerous for health and skin too
More than once have I had to get my paid shower room cleaned a second time. This is unacceptable by far. These are high traffic areas in which the customer is intimately interacting with this area. With a deadly virus going around we put a lot of trust in your hands. And to see this is scary and also could be fatal to someone's loved one who is out here working on the road to take care of them etc. Management needs to address this stat. 5/12/21 dried up urine and feces on and in the toilet 10:45 am
