Great Loves from regular car driver perspective)not truck driver) The bathrooms are clean, the showers are clean, the store looks clean, the merchandise and food section are all stocked very well, and the customer service from the staff is very friendly. The only downside from this Loves Truck & Travel Stop location is that they only have one food merchandiser what is Arby’s. Nothing wrong with Arby’s, but I always try to find something to eat what is fresh and not fried food from one of the fast food chains. Because of Covid no one sells salads anymore besides Subway. Most Loves have a Sub way but east of the United States it’s less common.
The best thing I can say about my experience is the store and shower room was clean. First of all the shower rooms do not lock. There is a pricey latch and that’s all. The shower room was freezing when I first walked in fully clothed I was shivering. The water pressure was non existent and the water was Luke warm at best. But only for the first 3 minutes of my shower then it turned to freezing cold. I’ve never had a bad experience at a LOVES as a professional driver. We actually passed a few stops to get to this LOVES for showers because we’ve always had good experiences. I had to work a long time to get shampoo out of my hair because of the non existent water pressure and I am very cold and disappointed.
Power has been out for hours on 02/28. The parking has absolutely no lights and the store is locked. So either no power or nobody is working.

This Love's Travel Stop is located at exit 4 along Interstate 85 in Fair Play, SC. You are just 4 miles from Georgia when at this stop. The location is fairly convenient and is close to the junction with I-85. My visit here was on July 28, 2021 while heading south. This was a fairly quick visit. The reason for the stop was to get gas since gas prices are generally higher in Georgia. At the time, it wasn't overly busy at the gas pumps, so that made it quick, There wasn't anything that would increase the rating above 3 stars since it really was just a gas stop before continuing southbound on I-85. If you are traveling through this area and need some gas, you should definitely get it here before going into Georgia.
Jamie is employed here and went above and beyond to help my husband and myself. She’s an amazing young women and deserves all five of these stars to herself . Sincerely
COLD showers, dirty deli, restrooms ect. Arby's is fresh tho. Not a good idea to spend your 34.
Drivers Beware: If you don't agree with Bryan in the shop, he will put you out of the shop as he did my driver. My driver was very adamant in there discussion when Bryan attempted to charge him for brake warranty work, but never once swore at him. Which Bryan admitted later when I called him that my driver was definitely not belligerent and would service him if he wanted to come back in. However, my driver said he wouldn't let him touch his brakes at that point.
Amazing service at the shop. If you're having a problem with your truck go see Joe. Thorough and fair, good guy. Bryan at the front desk very professional and helpful. Will definitely go out of my way to come back. Had an incident about 2 weeks ago as well, a different loves (moody alabama horrible got a bad tire), road service(fair play) came and changed my tire from an hour away, no charge(can't remember his name). All around good people.
Showers closed no hot water. Tire pass closed at 5pm trash piled outside rats all over .very rude lady at fuel desk
Got a flat around midnight Monday. Made it to Love’s in Fair Play, SC. Bryan at the shop let me use his wrench lug and car jack to change my tire. Wasn’t driving my own car so I had no clue they didn’t have those items in the trunk. He really got me out of a bind…. Thanks??
This is a very bad location. Diesel pumps are having electronic issues. Tire pass is broken so they want you to pull to very very tight tiny shop & wait in line. Scale was having issues. Yet it seemed as if you were all doing interviews, from what I could tell there was too many workers as is. Your focus should be on updating old equipment and making the customer have a seamless experience. Not have issues every moment of the two hour visit.
Night staff was rude and rushed me out despite there being no one in line waiting for a shower. Way too aggressive for no reason.
Thank you Ms. Kim (for going out of your way during a busy time to help me find some red tape....your store is awesome btw and also Mr. Moses for making my visit nice). The bathrooms were in really great shape and everyone was kind. On my long drives I really appreciate a comfy, clean shop to fuel up and take a ...pause. (Customers were cool too ?)
Another loves location that forgets about the trash cans behind the parked trailers. It will be some rodents in a minute like the loves on lamar on west memphis smh
