Starting with one location in 1958 to becoming the largest travel center network in North America, we’ve never lost sight of what’s important – taking care of our guests! At Pilot Flying J, we believe it's essential to give back to our communities that have given so much to us. We are committed to supporting local, regional and industry non-profit and charitable organizations. From the beginning, our founder instilled a spirit of community and philanthropy into our company. It is our privilege to give back by supporting causes that are important to our business and communities we serve. We encourage our team members to be active in their communities, whether that is volunteering or being there to serve first responders after a natural disaster.

Being in Dallas I had my doubts about the location and what to expect from this Flying J. But I was completely wrong to assume and this location by far superceded my expectations!!! Very clean, friendly staff and I'll even mention by name one of the staff members who helped me and went above and beyond to make my experience that much better!! June is her name and she is great at what she does. Customer service should be taught by her at this location. She was very friendly happy to assist everyone that came in and she definitely made me feel appreciated as a truck driver! I wish there were more people like her at other locations because it definitely sets the tempo for your visit. Great job June!!
Trucker Life! First time stopping here and spending a night. I am bobtail so it was easy for me to find an area to park but as I arrive around 5pm their lot is already full. Went inside to get something to eat but their hot food e.i. pizza is just a buffet for flies(flies are everywhere in the hot food station) and that merit this one star review. There are bobtails and trailers that seem to have been parked for an extended period of time. Not a very desirable truck stop location in my opinion and definitely would stay away from their hot food selections.
Bad security guard here. Dude is on a power trip. He thinks he is a cop and thinks he is only one armed. He pumps his chest out and shouts at people. And if you then just call the police he really gets mad, because it reminds him that his job is useless. Because of the security here I'm boycotting Flying J, Pilot, One 9, Road Ranger. These organizations will NEVER receive another dime from me. I'll spend my money buying fuel at Loves from now on. Better rewards and no power tripping security. I have worked security in Texas and I can tell you all that if this hot head puts his hands on you or pulls his gun you can sue him and this company and his security firm. My advice is to fire him and find someone who understands that they're not there to harass customers!
Finding parking at this place is ridiculous… food at Dennys was good but they need someone chking the parking lot… obviously he’s not… if u walk around the parking lot at 10am u will see the problem… u got bobtails that are broke down and beeeeeeen sitting u got trailers dropped… u got people just leaving trucks here…. U got 4wheelers taking up spots… one of these trucks that’s sitting the company isn’t even in business anymore… looks like it’s been here months… and also this idea of a company sitting outside the door selling sum kind of insurance and using women to do it is over the top…. If I want insurance I will get it not from a bootleg insurance company sitting outside the door of the flying j… this should be against the law… private property
Worst place to work for . They cut your hours for petty reasons. June on a power trip she spends all day outside smoking her cigarettes while she leaves her cashiers up there to struggle. Kim thinks she can talk to people crazy & excepts them to be on her time even though she never would answer the phone or text back. Worst company i have ever worked for. The lines are always out the door because they only wanna have 2 cashiers working. Kim doesn’t know how to make a schedule i dont recommend working or spending any money here. Glad i found a new job that actually knows how to treat their employees
Paid 17 for a spot only to be told by attendants tough find a new spot. Rookie truckers just get to take whatever spots they want. This Fing J just gets to do whatever.
Parking is tough at 5pm but I was truly lucky to snatch a free spot. It is always great to have a functional restaurant; Denny’s is always better choice than FJ hot food section .
Today i had a bad idea of visit that terrible place to eat, fill diesel and take shower.During stop, One Oil hose of my Motorhome are damage and leak over the parking, Im going to the counter to talk with a " Manager " on the good way can I need resolve, and check before of start the engine. I'm talked compromise to clean the mess (im educated guy) she talk me garbage put rude, and threat if I'm don't get out in some minute, next when I want a fill diesel coming accompanied with a securite guy and talk me very rude, she coming to call the towing truck and a police. 1st im not criminal. I'm going out because I don't have time for lost my time and have trouble with that kind of person, and im coming to ruined the engine. That is not the way. Probably on the other way, im looking for another option to move my vehicle. RESULT AND RESUME: IM INCREASE THE ENGINE DAMAGE, DONT FILL DIESEL, DONT TAKE SHOWER, LOST TIME AND I HAVE TERRIBLE DAY !!! FLYING please make a correct training for your employees ?
12/30/23, shower #8, 2215pm. Upon entry I notice a towel left on floor behind door, a little trash on floor around trash can (it had not been moved during cleaning). The fan is dirty. Water pressure good, hot water very good. Regards, Lawrence Applegate. *Happy New Year.
Expected as it is, a Dallas truckstop. Always busy, always, dirty, always rude. the only good place about this is the boss Truck Repair in the back besides them I don’t come here. Security guard with the twig mustache acting like he’s in call of duty needs a relax there’s dudes in Atlanta with sweatpants that is more security than that.
I had a terrible experience with Flying J truck stop. I was assured by the security personnel that I could park my trailer in the back lot from the 18th till the 23rd of December while I was on hometime. However, upon returning, I found that my trailer had been towed, costing me a significant $675 out of my own pocket. What's worse, the security personnel even advised me to buy a lock for it, adding insult to injury. This is an unacceptable way to treat a customer, especially a company driver. I'm extremely disappointed and will not be returning.
Management are awesome, they go above and beyond to accommodate drivers, as long you conduct yourself as a professional. But I can say, young lady manager and security were great..
Get your gas (or diesel) and go. Overall not impressive. This is not a place you want to hang around much if you have a choice. I've been to Pilot and Flying J all over the country. This one is far from the worse, but it needs serious improvement. A full and comprehensive review of all that's wrong with this place would be far longer than anyone cares to read. Here's a super quick brief, far from complete rundown: Overflowing trash cans throughout the lot. Was like that at night, the next afternoon the same ones hadn't been emptied yet. Toilet in my shower wasn't as clean as it should have been. If you're in an RV and you're looking to park in the "RV Parking" out front, forget about it. Not happening. Like so many locations they let s bunch of cars park there. This is crazy, because those cars can park anywhere. The RV's can't and the one designated area for them it's being allowed to be overrun with cars. On many levels it just seems management isn't on the ball here like they need to be.
THIS REVIEW SHOULD BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY, WAITED 45MINUTES ALMOST AN HR FOR A SHOWER AND DISCOVERED THE ENTIRE TIME AS I SEEN PEOPLE LEAVING THE SHOWERS NOBODY WAS CLEANING THEM, SO YOU GOT ALL THESE PEOPLE SPENDING THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY FOR A SHOWER AND WASTING THEIR TIME WAITING FOR NOTHING BECAUSE THE WORKERS ARE GOD KNOWS WHERE PROBABLY OUTSIDE FIGHTING AS I JUST WITNESSED OUTSIDE THE DENNYS SECURITY SEPERATING AN EMPLOYEE FROM A CUSTOMER WHO I AM NOT SURPRISED WAS LIVID FOR DIFFERENT REASONS... WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN , WISH THEY ACTUALLY CARED ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT CLEARLY DON'T!
It's not as bad as everyone say,as for parking if you're not here before 4pm good luck getting a spot
Very busy location, truck parking is a mad house and fills up around 3p. The layout of the parking really needs addressed. Trucks parking in all the no parking zones makes it difficult to get around. Showers were in good condition and clean. Wait at the register was too long. With it this busy open more than two registers. Today's crew was more interested in playing around between each other than quick, efficient customer service.
AVOID. The staff were lazy. No fresh coffee/creamer. Would not trust if they cleaned the showers. Flying Js are usually low quality, but this one in particular was bad ?
