This truck stop is a fantastic sanctuary for weary travelers seeking a momentary escape from the road. Its vast and well-organized space offers ample parking, allowing you to find a spot with ease and unwind. While the overall facility is commendable, the restrooms would benefit from a touch more attention to cleanliness. The dining area is a great spot to refuel with a quick meal, and the souvenir shop is stocked with a variety of keepsakes. Above all, the staff's exceptional politeness and welcoming nature stand out, ensuring that every guest leaves feeling valued and well-received. It's more than just a stop; it's a place where you can relax and feel at home, even when you're far from it.
During my travels back to PA stopped here for a break from driving getting the usual gas, food, and the restroom. First I have never seen a restroom attendant at a rest stop- she checked the stall each time to make sure it was clean for the next person. Found me a really cute key chain- I love butterflies. And couldn’t pass up on some Chester’s potato wedges and honey biscuits-yummy!!!!!
There are trucks parked 4 deep in front of the fuel island, causing a backup. When I called inside to say something, the guy who answered was pretty much like, "Oh well, nothing we can do."
Loves are typically known for decent bathroom but the ones at this location were so disgusting. Clogged dirty toilets, doors lined with layers of duct tape, and only 3 stalls. Not your average loves you wanna stop at.
The showers been down a month or more, drivers pumping diesal and theres no recollectional record of it and getting it for free, the first three pumps are down and the pavement is all messed up. The store got degraded really fast.
This Loves Truck and Travel Stop is definitely not one of the cleanest I’ve been so far. If you read the other reviews you will see the same issues as I saw. The scary thing is that this is going on for a long time. Seems that the Loves upper management has an issue with finding a good manager/personnel/staff who knows how to run a business and how to keep bathrooms clean. Especially during Covid-19. Clean places and happy faces is not a slogan what works for this location. The only great thing about it is that the gas is needed, and Chester chicken taste always good even on a day
This location is looking tired. Close to the highway. Pumps were not that busy. No leash free dog area at this location. There are better stops en route. Not recommended.
While we usually love to stop at these loves travel stops this stop was extremely disturbing due to issues with the gas pumps. Paid $30 for gas and pump stoped at $19 prompting us to hang up the nozzle. Went inside spoke with the cashier they reset it. The pump then stoped at $7.61 and again prompted us to hang us nozzle as if we were done. WE WERE NOT DONE. went back inside and asked for the rest of our money back as we were aggravated at this point. They said it all added up to 30 and were extremely rude. I had to get loud to get my money back and it was there fault. Needless to say UNRECOMENDED. will not be returning.
No hot air hand driers in the bathroom, Chester's is a sad miniature version of the actual franchise. The subway, who cares? Travelers want hot food in addition to.... park and rest? Watch your vehicle. There is barely room for Rigs and RVs to make the turn to exit. Rather terrifying... looks like they're going to hit your car every time. Worst love's I have ever been to
I pulled up to the pump and went into the store to buy gas and use rewards. I didn't have my card. I asked Niki how much regular unleaded is. She said she didn't know. I told her I would like to know before I pay. She continued to tell me she didn't know. I asked. "You don't know how much the gas is?" She said no, I am not a manager. I don't want to shop at a gas station where they can not tell me the price of gas without a manager.
I would absolutely avoid stopping there. There is a one lane bridge at the entrance. They are making a fortune from truckers hitting this bridge because of the turn at the end. MULTIPLE trucks hit it every hour taking out trailer wheels and tires. There is another way in, well out of your way and not obvious how to get there. See attached pictures.
When driving over the road with my husband we often stop at Loves between Pennsylvania to Florida. Most of the time they are accommodating and clean with a few exceptions. However this Loves was exceptionally clean. In the parking area for trucks there wasn't a single article of trash or pee jugs. We were there for our 10 hours and when I went inside before leaving, at 1230am, the capachinio machine was broken down for cleaning. Although that is what I wanted I was happy to see their sanitary practices. Often those machines look disgusting and seeing this gave me more confort in choosing Loves as our go to stop.
One of the best places to stop on those long road trips. Bathrooms are clean, gasoline is priced well, there is always window clean squigees, and usually some fast food restaurant.
It is so great to see managers pitching in and doing what it takes to keep things running smoothly including cleaning restrooms!
This store is one of the nicest ones my Sister and I have been too. Between Virginia to Oklahoma and back again, we've been to quite a few Love's. The Associates at this one, have great people skills. Smaller than the norm, but they make up for it, by being clean and fully stocked. Plenty of souvenirs, games for the road, and stuffies! There's a Subway if Chester's doesn't do it for you. Clean bathrooms and showers!
Helpful staff and clean establishment with lots of amenities including showers, restaurants, restrooms, laundry, gaming machines, hot food bar, etc. Will recommend!
