This place has everything TV, room showers, CB, radios and parts, clothing, restaurant massage chairs, etc. The store is huge. I went into the restaurant and had the eggs bacon and hashbrowns and it was very Philly. The prices were also good. The only thing I didn’t like is they make you pay first and I tip my base based on service so they’re kind of cheating their wait staff out of that money. But I’d come back here again it was pretty Good.
Restaurant needs remanagement. As stated earlier, you have to order up front and pay and tip accordingly. I didn't tip well because of the service structure. In return the waitress disappeared and Left my food at the window a while. I get it. No tip for tat. Watched elderly couples complain too. But let's dig deeper. Service and cooks were intermittently disappearing and I heard both complain about each other while they thought no one was listening. It's bad enough us trucker peasants have to pay 31 dollars ( before tip) for a plate of cold fish ,broccoli and a cup of coffee ( a side of sausage) but then there is the kitchen. Kitchen stove pictured is clearly gross. I worked in the business for a while in NYC. If the kitchen looks like that to the public Lord knows what's going on in the back. I emailed the Spokane regional health district advising them of the status of the kitchen. Last time I personally stop here.
Iron grill restaurant is great, Petro only has 3 washers to accommodate 6 dryers which doesn't make sense. Had a women in there tell me she hadnt done laundry in two weeks as an excuse to hump the washers. I couldnt get a washer to save my life every time I walked in washers were always taken. Have to pop a squat and watch their laundry to get in line for the washers. It's ridiculous.
Only 4 of 9 pumps working. I don’t know how busy it gets at 5-6pm so make sure you have plenty time if you plan to stop here for the night. Other than that, the store seem clean and organized.
This facility has a Meth Lab that has been posted up in its parking lot for over a month yet they go around kicking people out of the parking lot that have been there for less than an hour. Clearly they are protecting their investment.
You better hope you dont need anything if you stop here.. everything is overpriced. DOUBLE + on retail goods. Totally gouged 9 dollars for pint of ice cream, 3.5 dollar candy bar, 5 dollar chips. I avoid getting gas just because of the prices inside.. opt for Maverick or literally anywhere else....
Out of everything, restaurant had no eggs ,no broccoli, no Lettuce how do you run out of lettuce?! I had pork chops lady was very nice but had to pay up front do to being short handed . On top of being out of everything. Store had coffee no creamers . Along with no eggs or other sandwiches etc You can tell people definitely dont stay here out of choice but necessity . The cleaning was on point but i think that was do to the meth mentioned in other reviews.
I walked in wanting to eat in the restaurant. I saw they had a little kiosk called the kitchen I think nobody there at all. I walked into restaurant and the lady says I can order at the register. Unbelievable I work 14 hrs a day drive 11 hrs and I wanted to relax sit down and be served. I wanted to have a coffee look at the menu what I wanted. But she told me to order at the register 830 am Nov 28. I said I don't want to do that and walked out. Poor customer service and even u short people I mean the point is to be served when in a restaurant. I'm very disappointed and upset with this place Hopefully I never need to come here again
My company makes me stay here every day as a regional driver. And this is the worst truck stop I have ever been to. Restroom is disgusting and doesn't feel private. The bathroom is always full and being used. The food here is nasty, and they have people dropping their trailers so there's no parking for people to do their 10 hour here..
Very disappointed. It use to be a great truck stop. Now the iron skillet you have to walk up and order. Took out the salad bar and buffet. I was looking forward to a decent dinner. Was very disappointed. I will not be stopping here again.
Great stop for the night! Clean showers. It's easy to get in and out. Lawn looked nice even. The restaurant was open. I would stop again. Friendly people, minus a few grumpy truck drivers that will complain about anything! You know those ones that probably complained here in the reviews as well!!
Used to be one of the best stops in the country. Truck stop was dirty. Reserve a 20 dollar spot and they allow everyone to block u in. Employees have been rude, another great stop, gone to the dogs.
I appreciated that the parking lot was big lots of open space. The restaurants inside were very nice and very good to eat. Pricing was excellent.
The waitress won't leave the counter. Order and pickup at the counter. Pay in advance. This is the only Petro in the US that has ever done that to me. Go McDonald's across the street
Nice truck stop except for food options. We stopped here because they advertised restaurants! You have to order at the counter off taped down menu at Iron Skillet. The food at "the Kitchen" has been sitting awhile, you pick, pay, and leave!
Petro had everything! Restaurants, barber, convenient store, and yelling customers. I felt for the ladies who were working the registers. They definitely get all life's of work when dealing with truck drivers. My family and I stopped in for fuel, a drink, and a snack.
Very clean. Nice food choices. But only 3 washing machines and it seems the employees bring their laundry to work. All washers were taken was watching someone fold laundry. I went up front to get coffee and he was the cashier. So good luck getting your laundry done here. They had bags and bags to do.
