This place has plenty of showers but they are so gross! My shower had hair in the sink, lots of dark colored gunk on tiles, tp in the toilet and it was obvious nothing is cleaned between showers just restocked with towels. Showers have bad air circulation so the room stays hot and wet. I would advise you to wear shower shoes and bring your own towels if you have them because theirs are scratchy and smell funky. Too bad the showers are so gross because the rest of the building is pretty nice!

Outdated Petro stop catering to vacationers and locals. If you are a truck driver and sit down at the Iron Skillet counter, you may as well forget it…I just walked out after waiting 10 minutes without so much as a “hello” (even after the girl looked right at me when I sat down). Same old Petro travel store you see anywhere, and showers that are outdated, but live able. I had Thanksgiving dinner here last night which was turkey from a can, some burned sweet potato, a hard roll, and mashed potato…they were out of everything else. The waitress was nice enough, but didn’t seem to know quite what planet she was on. Travel safely, and good luck to you…I suggest eating out of the truck if you are stopping here! Update 9/18/22: Found myself stuck here in the way to St. Paul again! Laundry machines were nice, though the room could be wiped down more frequently. The restaurant is hit and miss from my experience. Lunch yesterday was blackened salmon, rice pilaf, buffalo Cauliflower, and Italian Wedding Soup…2 out of 10 stars! Lunch day 2 was sirloin/egg breakfast with hash browns and English muffin…9 out of 10. The showers are a 1 out of 10. Bring your scuba gear as the drain doesn’t flow (shower #5)! The toilet was still soiled from it’s last occupant! There is little ventilation in the room.

I enjoyed the shower. The Hot water remained hot for which I am grateful for given other truck stops. I was disappointed by the conditions of the shower. Cracked ceiling, and tiles. I imagine some sort of renovation is need asap.

I usually like parking here, but I don't think I'll be taking a shower here anymore. The counter/sink was not cleaned, and they clearly didn't clean the shower since the used soap bar is still in there.

Hope to never come to this truck stop again. The showers, restrooms in the main part of the truck stop and the restrooms in the fuel aisle are disgusting. Also the whole place is in bad need of an update. I give it one star because the restaurant was nice. I would not choose the buffet, though. The food is all very dry and needs refreshing.

They didn't have food at 9 a.m. and this is what the platinum shower looks like. Kind of curious what regular shower it looks like. I thought petro and ta had H"ospital level" cleanliness. If covid-19 was a shower room that's what it would look like

Huge & clean parking lot for trucks. Their space fits 280 trucks. Well maintained parking with full bright lights. Their food was ok, staff aren’t friendly & the customer service was below average. This is probably the only truck stop in the country where you find TV in the bathroom ?

Would give the showers 0 stars if that was a possibility. Not the worst shower but in the top 5 considering I've been on the road since 91 that's an accomplishment. They were semi clean but this place definitely needs an upgrade tiles broken the grout is black and in general just grungy.

Nice quiet truck stop. Friendly stuff. Has a backwoods log cabin theme to the place. Has 12 showers and a walking track. They have a subway , dairy queen, and iron skillet restaurant to eat it. Wish they had a fitness room. They will always have parking, no matter what hour of the day or night you come here.

Big parking lot, fuel desk guy was nice. Shower are outdated , vents doesn't work so it feels like you are having a steam room, everything is wet, walls and floor. Also those little stairs hallway going to Petro tells you a lot how this location cares about us drivers, come on Petro, just pressure wash it once a half a year, it's nasty.

Iron skillet was fantastic ?, their food was great and the service just as great. Highly recommend it !

Plenty of truck parking, the store is clean, the bathrooms aren't the best but still better than pilots, the subway was clean and well maintained. We decided to eat at the iron skillet, our server was Payton she did amazing. She had the table section while the other server had the front counter and the trucker booths. A party of 6 came and wanted to sit in Payton's section, the entire time we were in the restaurant the other server had a superiority complex. Payton went to get the party of 6 menus. The other server took them from her and said she would handle the large party. Leaving Payton with just three total patrons. Thus, the other server have almost a dozen patrons. Being a waitress is already a difficult job, and taking 3/4 of the patrons because you see dollar signs from potential tips is wrong. Personally I'm glad that we had Payton as a server she gave us 5 star service where as the the other server was only giving 1-2 star service.

A great little store with both fast food and a full fledged restaurant! Great stop!

Oil change 08/28/21 1:00 AM. That’s what driver found after we paid the invoice (see pics) Spilled oil all over the engine. You’d think they would pay for the truck wash! … wrong!

I’ve been coming here for the last ten years when i stop for the night. Its the worst I’ve ever seen it. So much is run down. I don’t even want to touch anything in the showers. They aren’t investing in this place. I’m going to try and remember that next time i come through. I had loves and pilots… but i’ll go there instead of this specific spot for a while I think. I’ll be back, don’t know how long before I forget though. Parking spaces lines are faded, not enough light to see in the parking area. Its just starting to feel like one of those half way hotels for addicts. Clearly they aren’t looking at reviews. Who ever owns this needs to sell and get someone motivated, start fresh with staff. Hell, what a place this would be if kwik trip bought it.
