Arrive 30 mins before your appointment or get turned away. Check in with the guard, will ask you to park and walk to the shipping office. Fill a form by the window before you check-in. You will need a Dot # and ID. Get a door, back in, disconnect, bobtail to bobtail area and wait for a call. Process will take 2-4hrs, depending on the time/day.
This may not be the worst company anymore and one of them I've been waiting for 4 hours to load more before. There had to be a number to call, pass this number to give me another number, very lack of organization and respect for the driver.
This place is HORRIBLE! got there at 1115am. Appt was for 2pm. Put me in a dock at 130pm and by 5pm there was only 2 pallets loaded. They finally finished at 830pm. This place is trash and i would not recommend anyone to be here...oh but the good side of it it, there's a pond by the bobtail area where you can see a 6ft alligator...yes, you gotta unhook and stage at guard shack and no, you can not enter property early...can show up 30 min prior your appt. Bathroom on site by check in area but no vending machine...and drivers, make sure you have your DOT number on hand when you check in and your driver license when you check out
So I get here on time, 1230 apt at 1300. Tokens over an hour to get checked in for my pick up. Over a half dozen people in the office sitting around talking and only one working the window. Had 5 drivers ahead of me took 75 minutes before I got to the window. Finally checked in which took 20 mins to be told they didn’t have a door for me and to park they will call with a door shortly, about 1500 get a call with a door assignment only to find a trailer dropped on the door so I call back and was told to hang tight it would be pulled shortly. Another hour and 15 minutes go by I’ve called several time by now and keep getting the same it will be pulled shortly. Finally called their in house broker and a few minutes later I get a rude call telling me I need to put the paperwork in the trailer for the loader I told her I’m not on a dock to have her yelling I told you what door to go to and I reminded her I can’t take it as one of their company trailers was still on it. After a few minuets she gets back on the phone and gives me 3 other doors all occupied by dropped trailers. I finally tell her I see an open door and had to beg her to let me take it. Dropped my trailer needlessly on the door and drove back to the staging lot where I sat until 1920 when I got a call to come get my paperwork. Stood in line another 40 mins to get it and check out. I went back to my truck rehooked and and pulled in to the staging area only to get yelled at by security I had to leave told him I could not legally drive since I had been there so long I ran out of hours and he said he didn’t I had to go I attempted to show him the anti-coercion law directly off the FMCSA website and he said he don’t care about the law if I didn’t leave he would call the police have me arrested and tow my truck. I attempted to go back into the shipping office to talk to the manager and was blocked from doing so by him. This place is run down, small not designed for sleeper cabs with 53’ trailers it is filthy with big speed bumps and deep pothole which where filled with water I hit one and it was so deep it tore my front bumper off and they didn’t care. Now I’m illegally parked on the street waiting for Tampa Police and just finished filing a complaint with the FMCSA & DOT INSPECTOR GENERALS OFFICE against them and just thought I’d share
I wish i could rate this place 0 star I rather Quit Trucking instead of coming to deliver a load here again, These ppl will easily take 5hrs just to start unloading you even though you are on time for your appointment, and I’m hearing it’s even a longer wait for pick up, these guys must be in there just playing around all day.
Arrive early because it takes about 4 hours from the moment you check in until they are done with your paperwork. You can check in before the appt time. Clean bathroom inside the building. No overnight parking. Tight yard to maneuver.
So far it sucks. They expect you to park on the side of a busy road ( ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN ) Was told appointment was at 8:30 a.m. gaurd said 9:00 a.m. They have plenty of room to stage truck but choose not to. Entry is off Broadway
For pick ups or deliveries you can show up 30 mins before. If sooner you will sit in front gate. Office people little rude but nothing we truckers can’t handle. She must like it ruff. Dock spaces are little tight so be careful. Wait time 2-4hrs Took them 3 hrs to get me in and out.
